  1. @Wolfox Ah, I see. I interpreted it wrongly I see what you mean!
  2. @Wolfox It's not impossible for a Gardevoir to outspeed a Gyarados. They have 80 and 81 Base Speed respectively, it isn't huge. Unless Gyarados is Jolly, with 31 IV and 252 EVs in Speed. Not the best example you could give anyways xD. I expected something like Archeops always outspeeds Garbodor!
  3. Deerling! With Mew and Vivillon following close by! Hardly a surprise to the people that know me best in here XD
  4. With all due respect, there is no need to be salty or overly dramatic about what I told you earlier. Plus, you might open a topic, but, as people join in the conversation they might enjoy sharing opinions with each other. I just pinpointed the fact that I have seen you many times asking for opinions and not even taking them into consideration after all, which makes it a bit pointless. Like your whole dramatic behavior after I said that is.
  5. You don't need OU mons to defeat reborn though. You have a valid point, but sawbuck is quite fast for sweeping through reborn anyways, especially if you EV train. And has solid attack and coverage. For competitive it is just mediocre, but we were supposed to give advice for in-game mons, not to go climb the UBER ladder...
  6. LOL, every time you ask for an opinion, it ends up like you have already made your decision, so why even ask... I apologise if I am rude, but, in your team Tsareena fits much MUCH better. Physical attacker, Fighting coverage (HJK), crippling enemy physical attackers with Trop Kick, Fairy coverage (Play Rough) and even Punishment to hit Psychic types and Ghosts (which, let's be honest, can wreck you at the moment). Roserade has its uses, many people have explained how useful it can be, but I don't see the point of asking, if EVERY time you end up doing what you initially wanted to do regardless. It beats the purpose of us providing opinions, if they are impactless regardless. @mario98 I have no idea why you said that Grass physical attackers are horrible. Former-OU Chlorophyll Sawsbuck is laughing at you right now...
  7. @Gheist "Naturally" in Reborn, not really. Due to the meteor that lies underneath it, yes. I never said the castle occured "naturally" *facepalm*. I said it's possible that somebody ages ago constructed it, as it seems to be located in a magical realm, and MAYBE Titania decided to modify it and use it as her Gym. Read first, argue afterwards. Anyways, to conclude, my point was that the meteor's energy is responsible for both fields of Luna's and Titania's Gym and they just constructed their Gyms there, as that fitted their opposing personalities. Now, I don't know the extent of modifications each of them did to the natural environment of each area to develop their Gym, if it was minor (e.g. Luna just designing a crystal key or creating the whole path to her Gym as a trial for challengers, Titania finding an ancient abandoned castle and renovating it) or major (e.g Titania building an entire castle).
  8. @GheistI don't plan on arguing about a random thought I had about a game that we both enjoy... So,the whole "oh, come on" irony thing is unnecessary, as I explained my opinion, which will remain my opinion. Now, if you are so fixated on proving me wrong, I don't mind, or care. I didn't say that the castle randomly appeared on end of a scrapyard. But it's funny that you think that finding something out of place is impossible when you can find oasis in the middle of deserts irl.
  9. @rowboat Welcome! I already like you for having the avi of ribombee in your profile pic!
  10. A Bug monorun isn't properly done if this song isn't playing on the background.

  11. @Gheist It's not necessary that Titania created her own Gym. It's possible that she found this ancient Castle and turned it into her Gym. Also, "just a cave with crystals" is a wrong way to describe what Iolia Valey/Luna's Gym are. Luna gave us a crystal key, that interacts with crystals and creates blue crystal bridges, turns bushes to green crystals, turns rock into red crystal doors or even transforms magically the interior of the mountain to fit Luna's Gym leader purposes. All these things sound a bit too well-planned to be "randomly" created by nature. Apart from the obvious magical aspect to them, the crystal key and its design (can see that in key items) show clearly that Luna has created it. So, even if Iolia Valley existed, the whole system was Luna's creation who "tamed" the magical energy and used it according to her desires. It is possible that Titania did the same, and "tamed" a pre-existant magic power that was surging through that place to create a magical fairytale castle according to her wishes. Of course all those things are hypotheses. I would love to hear what @Amethyst has to say about my perspective (fantasy ran quite wild here).
  12. @Sceptilespy I hadn't seen this till just now. I wrote my thoughts here.
  13. @GS BALL Well, I come from a Christian Orthodox background, so red is the colour that is associated to passion, devil and succumbing to desire (no offense to redhead people, whom I absolutely love!). This isn't my opinion, it is the religious aspect of red colour in the background I come from PS: Quote is broken (again) Edit: Something I forgot to add was that even Titania's and Luna's life beliefs are the exact opposite. Luna tries to soothe the pain of Radomus and Serra by creating a false reality for them, which will be retained for a while, giving them enough hope to keep surviving, while Titania (in her speech against Taka) supports the opinion that only the cold, crude truth will release you from your suffering.
  14. Since many people have asked "why Titania's world appeared and from where/ or even whether its very existence was necessary or Farfetch'd... I decided to put my thoughts here
  15. Looks like a good team, apart from the obvious weakness to fighting types! (Incineroar, A-Dugtrio, Silvally, Bewear, Heliolisk, Vanillish, Sudowoodo, Bisharp). As long as Dodrio holds its own, you must be fine! If Toxicroak has Dry Skin, he will have a party vs the second Gym leader. Plus, he can find use vs First too, so you might wanna bring him back in rotation! Also, Sturdy/Counter Sawk can help as well. And, of course, Araquanid can soak up so much damage in second leader's Gym!
  16. Went to Tanzan Cove to fish for Luvdiscs/Heart Scales. First random encounter in grass.

      THE ULTIMATE CUTENESS!

  17. Just defeated the certain second Gym Leader in a double battle. Because singles is too mainstream :D

I like doubles better, why I did it. Plus, titania was singles, so I wanted some variety!

    3. BRS swag

      BRS swag

Yup, true that. I went for doubles instantly and after sometime, save file got corrupted. So, I chose singles for the heck of it. I hope it doesn't do much of a difference for the relationship points coz I want to keep good rept with all characters.

Oh, amaria gets more friendship points if you battle her in doubles? I didn't know that.... I try that too, with few exceptions. Fern and Titania that is...

  18. No... more... underwater...maze...save... me...

Jesus Christ, took me an hour, but I did it. I had no idea I had to dive up to talk to Titania first... :( And God bless Ame for the jumping platforms! I can get any mon I want, even if none can learn Surf to fight Amaria!

      seki108

Oh, so that was the problem

  19. Spoiler

So, for a certain Gym leader of E17, you have to carry a mon knowing ALL 3 water HMs with you... Which sucks, cause, in my Bug mono this means I have to carry my boxed-HM slave-Squirtle starter with me and fight a 5v6.... Or is there another way?

Yep, you can leave. It's a sparkling bright bluish tile. Hard to miss it.

It is now that the scripts have been updated.

I kept Surf on the whole time (since Grenija was solely TM moves), so I just had to change to waterfall twice.  Would have been unbearable if I tried it with Surf too.

Definitely harder with just insects though.

I'm so used to Bugs that I had no trouble to beat Titania with only 5 of my current team. In my main save I haven't defeated Titania (still). But Bugs aren't the easiest type to cope with HM requirements... :(

  20. The casual early game Zigzagoon/Linoone at the Bridge learns Mud Sport at lv. 18 I think. Use it to terminate the Electric Terrain and have fun!
  21. I always thought that Pokemon should have a 12+ PEGI rating anyways (instead of the 7+ it has received)... So, in general it isn't a game for, say, elementary school children, due to high mentions of terrorism.
  22. Maybe teach nature power to someone to use it to turn on the lights, since it becomes Discharge.
