  1. Well, I've got all the Power Items for EV grinding (and Destiny Knot), and 4 different pokemon boxed with Pokerus, so I'm good there. Gardevoir's really the only one I need to fix the EVs on, I put too much effort in to it and had it for too long to go through a breeding process again. I'll have to check the Dept. Store again, didn't see the berries last time I was there. Good thing I have a crapton of money. I usually grind for EVs in Chrysolia Forest. I have to run a fair amount, but it means I get the HP, Atk, and SpAtk (and possibly Spd, need to doublecheck) EVs I need all in one spot. Are my planned movesets okay? I don't want anything that's too suboptimal, though there's a lot of leeway there.
  2. So, since I’m in E15, breeding in preparation for finally updating to E16, I figured I’d actually have my team rated for once! Any advice would be appreciated, and I’ll note current and future movesets/IVs/EV spreads. -----------------– Gardevoir (F)(Mind Plate) Lvl 75/Ability: Trace/Modest Nature IVs: 31 HP/24 Atk/31 Def/31 SpAtk/31 SpDef/31 Spd EVs: 58 HP/29 Atk/43 Def/252 SpAtk/18 SpDef/110 Spd (Need to get EV-reducing berries to fix this mess, planning for 252 Spd) -Magical Leaf (Will replace when needed, but the Grass coverage has served me well so far) -Moonblast -Calm Mind -Psychic Arcanine (M)(Blackglasses) Lvl 73/Ability: Flash Fire/Bashful Nature (Gonna be switching to Intimidate/Adamant for a Sweeper) IVs: 2 HP/28 Atk/15 Def/3 SpAtk/9 SpDef/20 Spd (Currently breeding for perfect) EVs: 40 HP/79 Atk/189 Def/101 SpAtk/28 SpDef/73 Spd (Will be 252 Atk/Spd when I’m done breeding) -Extreme Speed -Flamethrower (To be replaced with Flare Blitz once breeding’s complete, would consider mixed if I could get Overheat) -Crunch -Close Combat Clawitzer (F)(Fist Plate) Lvl 70/Ability: Mega Launcher/Modest Nature IVs: 31 HP/0 Atk/31 Def/31 SpAtk/31 SpDef/31 Spd EVs: 252 HP/0 Atk/0 Def/252 SpAtk/0 SpDef/6 Spd -Dark Pulse -Sludge Wave (Will regularly switch out with Ice Beam once we have that TM) -Surf -Aura Sphere Aggron (M)(Metal Coat) Lvl 73/Ability: Sturdy/Adamant Nature IVs: 29 HP/25 Atk/30 Def/6 SpAtk/30 SpDef/18 Spd (Currently breeding for perfect) EVs: 55 HP/228 Atk/39 Def/33 SpAtk/0 SpDef/155 Spd (Will be 252 Atk/HP when I’m done breeding) -Rock Polish -Cut (Variable TM slot, I switch it out as needed) -Iron Head (To be replaced by Heavy Slam after breeding) -Rock Slide (I’m considering a Rock Head/Head Smash/Double Edge set, but Sturdy has saved my ass on several occasions) Ampharos (M)(Draco Plate) Lvl 74/Ability: Static/Modest Nature IVs: 30 HP/28 Atk/1 Def/31 SpAtk/31 SpDef/31 Spd EVs: 252 HP/0 Atk/0 Def/252 SpAtk/0 SpDef/6 Spd (Debating 252 Spd, but Ampharos is slow) -Discharge (To be replaced by Thunderbolt when we get the TM) -Dragon Pulse (Mostly-Neutral coverage/ might replace with something else if something better comes along) -Power Gem (Coverage) -Cotton Guard Chesnaught (M)(Meadow Plate) Lvl 74/Ability: Bulletproof/Hardy Nature (Will be Adamant after breeding) IVs: HP/Atk/Def/SpAtk/SpDef/Spd (Currently breeding for perfect) EVs: HP/Atk/Def/SpAtk/SpDef/Spd (Will be 252 Atk/HP when I’m done breeding) -Hammer Arm -Nature Power (Variable TM slot, but Nature Power has been surprisingly useful so far so it’s semi-permanent at the moment) -Seed Bomb (Considering Wood Hammer, but dislike recoil when I have other options) -Spiky Shield (Might replace if needs be) -----------------– I have a fair number of Pokemon in my boxes (4.5 filled), but nothing specifically bred for switch-ins when a member has a glaring weakness to who I’m fighting. If I had to replace any of them, it’d probably be Arcanine, Chesnaught, and/or Aggron. I do need something that can use Fly, and I’m considering an Unburden Hawlucha for that purpose as a switch-in, but for now, this is my core team.
  3. I didn't think I would have so much fun getting my face repeatedly stomped when I started. I was wrong on that front, and I now find the lack of available-from-the-start Challenge Mode on the official games to be disappointing. OR took me so long to finish because I was sweeping everything, even the E4 was barely a challenge... Also, I thought T3RR4 would be a surprisingly challenging leader, to complement Ground-types great coverage and her insane physical strength. What I got was a field that screwed her so badly I facetanked her Nidoking with my Gardevoir long enough to get 6 Calm Mind boosts, then swept her whole team with Magical Leaf and a single Psychic (and I only lost maybe half of Gardevoir's health). So disappointing, but at the same time it was nice to have a break from the usual challenge of Gym Leaders.
  4. Sweet, new Pokemon are up! Think I'll be making Tentacruel my main Water-type for now, and pick up a Gligar for that Gliscor awesomeness (assuming the Razor Fang's available, which I'm assuming it will be)! Maybe a Slowpoke and Sneasel too, already got Psychic-type thoroughly covered but Slowpoke is a surprising beast of a mon in Rejuvenation so who knows, and Weavile is good enough to have in reserve, even if I find it a bit too all-around frail for my tastes.
  5. [boasting]Adrienn can fuck right off, my Aggron will destroy half his team, and Arcanine will handle the other.[/boasting] On a thread-related note, I’m hoping for a SpAtking Water mon, really need one that doesn’t suck to put Surf on. A good Flying-type would be nice too. Re-looking at the obtainables list to decide if there's anything adequate for either right now.
  6. I haven't done jack on that front, because I'm currently very happy with my team. Got a Perfect IV Modest Gardevoir that destroys everything forever, Close Combat Arcanine, CHESNAUGHT, Mighty Aggron, a surpisingly bulky Cotton Guard Ampharos, and Sharpedo. Sharpedo's just a placeholder, need to find a Special Attacking Water-type to throw Surf onto and keep on my team forever, but that's proving difficult in Reborn... Oh, a Flying-Type'd be nice too, but I'm not sure what to do there, lack of good options is aggravating, and I'm not fond of redundant types on my team.
  7. Thanks, I got most of that, but I'll keep it all in mind!
  8. Ah, thanks, didn't notice that! And damn, guess I'll just have to start over if I want to save her then. Have a save just before first talking to her in Celeste City, though I might just start a new file too, make sure I have a positive reputation with Scarlett (I didn't here, though I don't remember there being too many opportunities to raise/lower it in the first place). Still gonna keep on in this file though, my team is just too much good. Keep having to use tons of Reverse Candies, I ws at the Level 50 cap quite a while ago, mostly because I make it a point to finish all the Ranger missions in an area before really moving on. I think I only took a single hit while battling Scarlett, and it did barely anything.
  9. Okay, I just finished the part where , and unfortunately my last backup save was all the way back in Celeste City, before fighting Amarastia. So, couple questions, is there any way to get a save file edited to put the storyline just before I doubt it, but thought I'd ask anyways. Second, is there any way to make it a little more obvious that I mean, I didn't even know there was any reason whatsoever to go back to that area, there's no items, Pokemon, or places to go up there, and no incentive, minor or otherwise, to return. As an aside, after trying to get a Modest Ralts that didn't have shitty IV's for several hours (in that time, I got two modest Ralts with terrible IVs, and five Adamant Ralts (half with great Attack, one that was terrible all around, and one with perfect SpA)), I finally gave up and got myself a Calm Slowpoke (when I was originally planning on having Starmie as my Water/Psychic type). Evolved it into Slowbro for Physical tankiness, and holy crap this thing is a beast! Currently has Slack Off, Blizzard, Water Pulse and Psychic, and it's kicking all sorts of ass! Also, Krookodile is awesome, glad I chose that Sandile at the beginning, even if it means I have no reason to use my precious little Flygon (who is currently a Trapinch). Probably gonna start a new game anyways to go for a different starter, change up my team completely. Currently my only answer to Water-types is Krookodile's Grass Knot, which isn't great, and I've got two Fighting-types.

  12. I would if I could find the thing. As far as I know, save files are in Game.rxdata files. Unfortunately, even though the game loads/saves just fine, there is no such file. I've looked in the Winebottled program, in the raw .exe folder, and in the Saved Games section of the hidden Wine folder, and it's not there. Seemingly, the only Game.rxdata on my computer is for Reborn. Unless the files are also stored in Game.ini, because that and Game.exe are the only Game.* files in there. Maybe it has a different name and is the Data folder for some reason? Is there a different subforum I should be posting any of this on? I realize this one is more for the save files themselves... EDIT: Ha! I finally found Rejuvenation’s Game.rxdata file, and why nothing I was doing in the Winebottled app was having any effect! As it turns out, it was all in a ‘com.yourcompany.yourapp_*random string of numbers*’ folder, in an ‘Application Support’ folder, in a different hidden ‘Library’ folder than the one I’d been looking in all this time! No wonder I couldn’t find or affect anything! Made an Alias so I can get back to them easily without revealing hidden folders/files. Anyways, looks like removing Volcanion’s cry from this folder did the trick, and I can finally continue in the game!
  13. Okay, I’m having a problem with Rejuvenation. I’m playing in Wine on a Mac, just about to head in to the room where Volcanion is waiting. And of course it’s crashing everytime I reach the point in the dialogue where his cry is supposed to play. Weird thing is, even though it’s crashed, complete with error report, the program is still open and running. Once I close the error report, it skips past the cry, sucks me into the rift, and let’s me go for some variable amount of time. It usually freezes when I get to the activation command for the 4th generator after successfully activating the first three, though once it let me get to the point of interacting with Volcanion (complete with starting the battle music and bringing up the “player vs dimensional rift” animation) before freezing. The BGM still continues to play just fine after freezing, but the picture is frozen and my button presses have no effect. The most common (re: only) solutions I’ve found were to remove the sound file for Volcanion's cry (I’ve seen both 719Cry.wav and 720Cry.mp3 referenced), which I’ve done several times to absolutely no effect. The only other solution I’ve seen is that it might be having trouble with the soundtrack it’s supposed to start playing (which is, in the rift, the Rejuvenation Title Theme), and to try removing that. I did that, also several times, also to no effect (the soundtrack still played just fine, both on the title screen and in the rift). I’m playing version 7. If it makes any difference, the program I’m playing is one I Winebottled, though I have the raw .exe folder also available. And I can’t even upload my Game.rxdata file because I can’t find it. It’s not in the Winebottled program, it’s not in the raw .exe folder, and it’s not in the Saved Games portion of the normally-hidden Wine folder. In fact, there isn’t even a folder for Pokemon Rejuvenation in that section, just Reborn (whose Game.rxdata is in it's Winebottled app) and Fusion Generation, neither of which actually contain any data at all, hidden or otherwise (and there’s no Game.rxdata for Fusion Generation either). Despite this baffling lack of Game.rxdata files for anything other than Reborn, my games save and load just fine. And I’m not even sure if the Reborn rxdata is updating like it should, because the Last Modified date says “March 28, 2016”, when I just finished Episode 15 last week. My current plan is to find a clean file of Volcanion’s cry, rename it to 719Cry (or 720Cry as needed), and shove it into the SE audio folder to see if that fixes it. I have yet to find such a file. Honestly, I’ve tried pretty much everything I could think of and/or find online. I have no idea what else I can actually do at his point. Any help would be appreciated.
