"I'm fine. Just be careful alright?" Edmond unconsciously took a slight step back.

"I have absolutely no idea. I expect that if he can get the system running, we can learn a bit more about this place in general?" Edmond peers over Kyle's shoulder to see if there is any obvious method of activating the machine.

"It seems like some sort of vehicle? I suppose that means you can try driving this thing now then." Edmond stood next to the man, just as a precaution to hopefully prevent him from hurting himself. He did strain his ears to listen to the newcomers' names as they introduced themselves.

"That seems..fine, I guess, if it really comes up. I just want to wait and make sure our allies are alright. Speaking of alright...you do know you have a hole in your stomach? A pretty big one? You might want to get that looked at..."

"I wouldn't..." He stopped. There was no real point in trying to stop this gleeful idiot. He tried another tactic, though he doubted it would work. "We have allies who are willing to help us in caves nearby. Don't try to drive this thing until we know whether they are still there, alright?"

He took a closer look at the controls and instruments, trying to see whether there was anything he should obviously not do.

Edmond turned from where he was standing to glance at the tapestries around. "So...is it possible with magic or advanced tech for a castle to move like a tank? It seems odd that the same castle would be in all of these tapestries..."

"Nice to meet you. I actually don't think I'll be needing anything for now." He approached the throne with measured steps, and took a closer look at the controls. "I can't say that much, but these appear to control some for of mobility? They seem to be motion controls for a vehicle of sorts."

As the orc pushed open the door, Edmond hesitantly followed. "Excuse me, but I don't think I know your name? I was wondering if I might have, or at least take a look at one of those pieces of plate armor which you obtained?"

After the blast, he turned to the book mage. "Solomon, can I get a piece of that plate armor? It might be interesting to investigate." He picked up two pieces of the Decorative armor scrap. No one else seemed terribly interested. If anyone wants it, they can have it... His attentionwas momentarily diverted by the appearance of a door. Obtained 2x Decorative Armor Scrap

You idiot... Edmond stared in horrified astonishment as the man continued to recklessly endanger both himself and those around him. As soon as he saw the man pull out a grenade, he dashed off towards where Solomon stood. "Solomon! You might want to prepare your book shield."

Edmond flinched slightly as he heard the pop of an electrical discharge once again. After seeing that it, though painful, was certainly not lethal, he thought a moment, and decided to refrain from provoking the machine. Instead he directed his attention to the robotic arms, and began to investigate them. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the man attempt to kick the machine once more before wandering away.

Well, this has piqued my curiosity, and as Cronos has mentioned some stuff about it to me, I'll be willing to participate.

It's all over? That was...quite sudden. He started toward the woman who had healed him mid-battle, only to see a much smaller figure in her place. What in...magic, I guess. He made his way over, slightly bemused. "Thanks for...doing whatever it was you did during the battle? Your name is Hikari right? I'm pretty poor with names. Anyway, I'm glad to see that you're alright" He heard his name. Ah, Solomon. After listening a moment, he spoke, "Well, I'll be off...It seems like a good job for me." He stepped over to the reactor, taking care to avoid the mixed detritus spread across the scene, and then peered intently at the apparatus. Before commencing welding, he cautiously examined the exposed parts of the machine.

Well...This is going quite poorly. Nothing left to do but keep fighting, I guess... Weld on Robot Arm L. If Arm L is destroyed, Weld on the suit of armor, or whatever comes out of it.
