  1. "Well, this is...different. I suppose I should make a point of not touching anything without asking, then?" Edmond quietly strode in the direction indicated by the priest, glancing around at the eerie artifacts surrounding him. A shudder ran through him as he felt his eyes drawn to the skulls. However, he wrested his attention away, and entered the apparent ritual sacrifice room.
  2. "Oh! These will be handy. Is there anything else?" Darien muttered. After a quick inspection, he grabbed the machine pistol. He checked through the pockets of the woman, and, after that, dashed out of the store. He had no real idea where he was running, so he simply followed the magic woman, at a decent distance. His only real thought was to get out of the Stuffer Shack before anyone misinterpreted his actions.
  3. "Hmm..." Shelly followed slowly behind Kai as she ascended. Everything here was very disorienting, and normal reasoning was likely fruitless. Perhaps nothing would make sense. However, whether in vain or not, Shelly cogitated on the subject, twirling a lock of hair as she did so. "Some green tree things? How long ago did they appear?" Could it be possible that they had arrived at the same time that their group had been thrust into this world?
  4. "I think Zeta is perfectly suitable for a girl's name, ending with 'a' and all..." Shelly's frown shifted to a small smile though, as she watched Kai lift up the girl. It was a very kind thing to do after all...One thing that Zeta had mentioned seemed a little odd though. "You have a house then? What's it like? Did you build it yourself? How'd--" She abruptly cut herself off, not wanting to overwhelm the girl.
  5. Edmond slowly stepped into the dimly lit building, admiring the arching ceiling that extended out above him. He turned back to the man who entered, and politely asked, "Would you mind terribly directing me towards my friend? I'd rather not wander anywhere I shouldn't...also...is there anyone listening to us?"
  6. "I'm looking for a friend. A man named Theo? He was wearing a tracksuit, and I heard that he made his way here. Have you seen him by any chance?" Edmond stood still, making a point of not attempting to peer past the priest, or approach until he received confirmation. A locked church was suspicious, and it seemed likely that they would not take kindly to his prying into their business if Theo were not at this location.
  7. Edmond had wandered about the entrance to the church for a little, tugging at the unmoving doors. There must be someone here, since Theo was said to have gone here, ut the doors are locked. They probably have something slightly illegitimate going on. Edmond gave the door a few sharp raps, hoping to gain the attention of someone inside.
  8. "Is the Gabite yours, then? I'm sorry if we caused the problem; I don't think any of us meant any harm..." Shelly trailed off. She wasn't skilled at saying the right things or giving comfort. She often couldn't think of anything that wouldn't sound hollow, and without meaning when someone else was in pain. She decided to perform a different task. Keeping her A-comm on mute, she send a text off on her A-comm to the people who had been delivering instructions: "Met up with other group. No one hurt as far as I know."
  9. "WHAT THE HELL. Get off of me!" Darien growled this bit, trying to push the apparently non-malevolent stranger away from himself. He pulled his way over the the woman he had clocked with his gun, still feeling a bit woozy from the hit he had taken. Darien knelt down, and began to rifle through her pockets, grab her gun, and her ammo. Darien tries to escape the stranger, and loot the machinegun toting woman.
  10. "Ah, thank you. As you may have noticed, we're from...out of town." Edmond hurried off in the direction which he expected the church 48th street would be. He glanced about as he approached the cathedral. He stepped up to the imposing doors, and was treated to an unfamiliar odor. I can't say that I like that... ((OOC: I'm not really sure whether Theo would still be visible at this point...))
  11. "Damn this thing!" Darien grumbled. He hit it with his hand, as though he thought it were malfunctioning in some manner. Sighing, he brought it up to his cheek, pointed it towards the mage's torso, and fired three more shots. He had to hit the guy this time. Darien fires three shots at the guy he keeps missing.
  12. Well, there are two options. You can either buy vanilla ice creams over and over in the Sweet Kiss shop in obsidia ward, and a blue moon ice cream will randomly appear occasionally, or you can visit the ice cream vendor in front of the grand hall on sunny days or in agate city, and every once in a while, they will sell blue moon ice cream for 20000. Buying from the ice cream vending machine in the sweet shop works best for me. I save the game, and buy about twenty vanilla Ice creams, and if I don't get a blue moon ice cream, I reset. This way, I don't waste toomuch money on the ice cream. I've never actually gotten the ice cream vendors in front of the grand hall or in agate to have blue moon ice cream in stock, but it is possible.
  13. "Ah? Alright...actually, I don't need that. Thanks anyway." It would be fairly useless once I left this world, I expect. And Marisa probably wouldn't want it...where to go now, I wonder... Edmond smiled to the cashier, and exited the store, making his way back towards the Psychedelic Pirate. He walked up to the Bouncer, hands in his pockets. "Do you have any idea where the person I was with before wandered off to? Theo was his name; the one who was searching for marijuana." He paused. "I don't want any...I just want to know where he went. I heard there were some other interesting goods..."
  14. After the last message from the A-comm, Shelly peered off towards the source of the disturbance. She could just barely make out what appeared to be a Gabite charging a figure. She spoke softly into the A-comm. "It's hard to tell, but I think it's a Gabite? We're a ways off...I'm not sure we'll be able to make it in time." It seemed that someone was quite close to getting mauled... "No...wait. I think it stopped for some reason. I can't quite tell. I'm going to look for a way over..." Shelly, still watching the distance figures, stared down the path to see if it would take her nearer to the Gabite or if there was any other visible path through the trees.
  15. Well...that was incredibly suspicious... An austrian man glowering at him, and then departing soon after with a bang was slightly disconcerting to Edmond. He was about to exit the store, when passing a locked display case of electronics, another quick thought passed his mind. Turning to the cashier, he said, "What's the cheapest phone you have here?"
  16. "Right..." Edmond mumbled as he passed through the doors into the Stuffer Shack. It was a fairly basic store, containing all manner of everyday items. He would eventually make visits to the other places mentioned on the tablet, but for now, he was primarily interested in some fairly standard items. He made his way up and down the aisles, searching for the goods he wanted, picking then up when he passed something interesting. Ah...rope. That's always useful...I need a flashlight, I guess. Actually, infrared goggles would be far better. I should hold off on that for now. As he passed through the aisles, his glance paused on a tool kit. Oh. This could be quite useful... He picked it up. He grabbed a few more items, before approaching the checkout counter. "Good afternoon...I'd like to buy these items," he stated, arraying them out on the counter, while he held out his credstick. "...Also, is there any way I could get a map of the city? And what sort of medical supplies do you have in stock here?" Edmond attempts to buy rope, a toolkit, a map, a small mirror, some marbles, and hopefully some medical supplies after checking first what the price will be.
  17. "Oh. Not good." Darien winced as the people got thrown around. Boy, was he glad they weren't him. The mage was still standing. What did this mean for Darien? Well, it meant that he could shoot more. He didn't know the man that the mage had been attacking, and he didn't really care so long as he didn't kill the innocent. So, while he tried to avoid hitting the man on the floor, he didn't really care too much. He aimed at the mage, pulled the trigger, and unleased a hail off bullets towards the criminal. Darien fires 5 shots at the mage.
  18. "Well, it's a Pokemon, but I'm pretty sure that's not what you were asking." Shelly smiled nervously, rather relieved at not having had to fight the Sableye. Why had they been so close to attacking him though? It was possible that he had provoked them somehow, but Shelly couldn't really comprehend how he would do such a thing, or why, for that matter. "Are you carrying any gems or anything? Why would the Sableye attack you?" She turned to glance in the direction that the shadowy figures had retreated toward. They were gone now, but they had looked disturbingly vicious.
  19. "I'm sorry to say, but I don't think I can help you with that." He turned to the bouncer. "Thank you. I'll be off now." And with that, he headed off towards the pyramid on 52nd street.
  20. "Oh. Hi, Theo. Are you searching for someplace?" Edmond turned to the bouncer. "My companions seem to have left with the only source of knowledge about this town that I had...Could you by any chance direct me to the nearest Stuffer Shack?" He needed to pick up some supplies.
  21. As Kai sped onwards, Shelly glanced back towards the guy fo--wait. Shelly, distracted by the alien landscape and unusual circumstances, hadn't noticed leaving him behind. "Hey Kai? Where's that guy that was with us? The one with the slicked-back hair." It was his own fault for being left behind of course, and there was that square on the hill to investigate...On the other hand, they had been told to find shelter or safety, and if the tech team ever got them back, it would probably be frowned upon to leave a man alone in a strange wilderness. "I think we should head back. We can check out the hill once we get him?" Shelly began to move back down the path, waiting a bit for Kai to follow.
  22. Shelly, oblivious to the recent theft occurring behind her, pressed onwards along the path. She could not tell whether the summit of the hill she saw in the distance cleared the treetops, but the square on top had piqued her curiosity. "Are you okay with following the path to that hill? We might be able to get a clearer view of the landscape, and there is that weird square thing..." After waiting for a response, Shelly quickened her pace slightly, heading for the hill.
  23. Satisfied with his handiwork, which consisted of violently clubbing a woman over the head with a machinegun, Darien turned to look back toward the cash register. A man was crouching down, preparing some form of magic to use on a prone man. He could have been healing an ally, or attempting to hurt a customer. Either way, it was bad. Darien raised his gun, and fired three shots at the man clad in black. Darien attempts to shoot the mage in the black coat.
  24. "No, I'll probably need some other method of input if I'm going to be hacking anything. In any case, I'll be going. However, I think we should have a scheduled meeting to discuss our findings. Everyone fine with meeting back here sometime around noon tomorrow?"
