  1. You're asking as if it's a sin to enjoy a documentary. I don't watch documentaries that often, but I've previously enjoyed watching Planet Earth and The Blue Planet. And this is an interesting answer. Most people say that your chances stay the same or the opposite. What makes you say this? I'd love to hear your reasoning. Now as to my question, would you be surprised if I said your chances increase if change doors? Can you deduce mathematically why? I'll post the post the solution here so you can test yourself. Other people may also pitch in. It's a fairly fun riddle.
  2. Sure, why not. I'll ask my previous question again: You're on a game show, where you're offered the choice of 3 doors. 1 door holds a fabulous prize, the others are empty. Say, you chose door number 2. The host now opens door number 1, it's empty. He then offers you the choice to switch to door number 3. Do you take him up on the offer?
  3. There aren't any parks near where I live... So I can't really answer the question. There are 3 forests, and 2 lakes within walking distance though, and if I have the time I like to wander off. ~ There are some fun Geocaches in the area. You're on a game show, where you're offered the choice of 3 doors. 1 door holds a fabulous prize. Say, you chose door number 2. The host now opens door number 1, it's empty. He then offers you the choice to switch to door number 3. Do you take him up on the offer?
  4. Frankly speaking, 1½ years is quite a short lifetime for a mouse. It shouldn't be breaking down that quickly. I don't know the warranty policy is in India, but as long you know the fault lies with mouse and not something caused by yourself, the place you bought it should give you a new one. Though then again, maybe the consumer protection warranty in India is different than it is over here. Though in case in case you do decide to get a new one, I'd get something of slightly higher build quality. A good mouse should last at least 4-5 years, if not longer. Again, I can't really recommend anything since I must assume the mice they sell in India are probably different from the popular brands over here. But try to read reviews for various mice. There should be many good mice even at budget prices.
  5. ISCW is on a roll today with her puns, she's punstopable.

  6. Well aren't we greedy. We never chose our partners ourselves, our partners chose us. You partner will be one of The Seven Great Demon Lords. It's a powerful warrior and unmatched wizard. It seeks the submission of all before him as his greed knows no bound. Your partner will be Barbamon,
  7. @Frozenwolf94 Hmm, a new face I've never seen... So, you play mostly single player RPG games? You like playing games in dark-settings where you can be a hero. Your title on these forums is Knight, and you Pokémon Team is a combination of Metalic looking beings and ferocious monsters ~ Eureka Clad in crimson digizoid, and lance in hand, your partner soars above others on majestic wings. It's a protector of the weak and a true knight of justice. Your partner Galantmon Crimson
  8. So, Denmark. Pretty rad country if I may say so myself. "But why?" You may ask, considering Denmark has 200 or so rainy days a year, sub-par weather, extremely plain local food, and having to pay +50% in taxes? But the things we do have are pretty cool: - Low inequality, and the world's highest social mobility. Education is free, and students are paid money just to go to university. - Excellent and free health-care. - A low crime-rate - Good social security where people can feel safe, even if they lose their jobs. - Bicycling culture, with great infrastructure supporting it. I love how pretty much everyone I know bikes to work/school, especially in the Copenhagen where everything is in quite close proximity to each other. - Denmark also has a preeety good internet infrastructure, sure it isn't on the level of South-Korea *jelousy intensifies* but considering we're in the top 10, that's pretty good already, and it's improving quickly, with Fiber being adopted more and more. Again, most of these aren't unique to Denmark, and are shared by most of Northern Europe. But still, these are the main things I like about living in Denmark. I truly hope developing countries in Asia will follow look to Scandinavia as a role model, when building their societies in the future, rather than looking to the US, as I find many of the policies in place there to be horrifying and unhealthy for those at the bottom of society.
  9. Well, considering it's been confirmed to not be localised, I don't really have any expectations for the game. Hopefully we'll get a fan-translation at some point, but considering progress on the first Dai Gyakuytan has been quite slow, I doubt we'll see anything in regards to that for at least 5-6 years.
  10. Well, that's another thing thing I learned today... I also learned about morphogenetic fields today, to those who've played 999 and the Zero Escape series... Those games basically lied about everything regarding them... Seriously, how do you present chemical gradients that determine cell differentiation in an embryo, to presenting it as a telepathic field that lets you travel through time
  11. TIL Amethyst has a boyfriend... Who's this mysterious person that has been conspicuously absent and not mentioned in anything?
  12. Depends on how you define exercise. I bike 20'ish minutes total a day to and from university. But that's like 3-4 days a week and not something I would call exercise. Otherwise I play tennis 4-5 hours a week, but again, that's concentrated around 2-3 days a week, which ends with me being active for a few hours every few days. So to answer your question... Maybe? For some reason, Viridescent stopped coming here... Do you miss him?
  13. You're literally asking me whether I'd like to have super powers with no negatives to them. The added flexibility to having my body run slower/faster than people around me would be an incredible asset in just about every single activity ever. So yes, I'll take the superpowers very much. Do you find it difficult to get up in the morning?
  14. Like, in Reborn? That would likely very much depend on your team composition the time. The difficulty of Reborn is pretty constant, with the only variables being the Gym Leader you're facing, and thus any of the gym leaders can potentially be difficult. - Many people have found Florina to be particularly difficult since she's the first sign of the game being unlike other Pokémon games, but I wouldn't say she's much more difficult than the proceeding fights. - Personally I've had a very tough time with Corey, and while a few people have agreed with me on this, other's have said they found him easy. Again, it's very much team dependent. - Noel and Charlotte have in the past been the two bosses the majority of people got stuck on, but after some quite serious nerfs to their teams, they're only shadows of their former selves now. Though still quite difficult. But that's the thing about Reborn, while it may be difficult at times, it's always fair, as the opposing gym leaders are constrained by the same rules as you. And thus it never actually feels hard.
  15. No question was asked Should we have a punishment for people who forget to ask questions or questions that aren't yes/no questions?
  16. Define "afraid". It's not like I freak out if there's a bee or a roach close to me. But at the same time, I know how many dangerous insects there are out there, and that many are life threatening. The horrendous loss of life insects such as locust's, fleas and mosquitos cause, is genuinely terrifying. So in many ways I am afraid of "insects" Is it better to ask no question than a bad one?
  17. I like asking questions as it's fun to come up with them, and it puts one in the direction a conversation is going. Despite this, the environment here is in many ways limiting the types of questions one is allowed to ask, but also in the way the question has to be structured, combined with the uncertain nature of the recipient of the question, meaning you can't personalise questions. All this makes it much less fun to ask questions in this thread specifically. Do you like Puzzle games?
  18. Armaldo is among my favorite Pokémon design wise, it's not particularly good in battles though. Same can be said with Altaria before it got a Mega Evolution.
  19. No. Be happy when your loved ones are near, but don't be sad when they're gone. That's the best attitude one can have to these kinds of things. Is Amethyst your favorite person in the entire universe?
  20. @Smogoon JoshYou will be granted a valiant and noble partner. Your desire for good will match that of your partner, and together you shall do good deeds. Your partner is SlashAngemon @Cool GirlYour hot-headedness and fiery passion will compliment the quiet and reserved nature of your Digimon. Your partner will be one dedicated wholly to good. It is a formidable warrior and never wavers from its beliefs. Your partner is Ophanimon That's it for now then ~ Hopefully, everyone liked their partner Digimon, and my passion for the universe was able to shine through this thread, and perhaps even made a few of you consider playing one of the games.
  21. Obviously, since Suicune is better than Entei. Now... Between the Beast Trio (Suicune, Entei, Raikou) and the Weather Trio (Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza) you prefer the former.
  22. As a fellow user of Ampharos (death be to the heretical Magnezone), I'm intrigued by your use of Ampharos set as I run Discharge/Thunder-Wave/Power Gem/Dragon Pulse. Thunder-Wave being extremely useful in nearly every encounter I used Ampharos in. Can you describe a bit more in which ways Electric Terrain has helped you?
  23. @Anstane Your partner will match your love of ice and curious personality. It will be a proud beast of valour and strength. Your partner will be AncientMegatheriummon @HongaarseBeer Your partner is one of grace and beauty. Clad with golden wings and blazing rapier, you two will soar towards the heavens. Your partner is none other than AncientKazemon @Gentleman Jaggi I will bestow upon you a Digimon which may appear confusing at first, as it's an unruly and wild one. It cannot be constrained and hates to stay in one place, always moving. I give you this Digimon in hopes that it will learn from your quiet nature, you will learn from its ferocity and love of life. Your partner is Merukimon
  24. @Maximillion Pegasus You seem to be ambitious, you demand to be heard. At the same time, you know the dangers this thread poses, and how quickly it will spread and start a "What I Think" epidemic. But still, you post due to your curiosity. It is obviously because your Partner Digimon belongs to the Virus Buster class. With its Avalon Shield it can block any and all attacks, and with it's shining sword Claíomh Solais, it strikes down any and all virus types in its way... Your partner Digimon is Craniamon @President Felix Fear not, for while you may have once had a Numemon as a partner, Digimon are simply data and constantly reform themselves. Because I understand your pain and suffering, having myself too had numerous partners digivolve into Numemons, I will bestow upon you a Digimon fit for a king, one that survived many struggles, to always evolve stronger. Your partner is Omnimon X, the survivor Digimon who survived the end of the Digital World at the hands of the termination program, by evolving the X-Antibody. @Kurotsune Oh my, I didn't believe we would be graced with the presence by the Fallen Angel of Reborn himself. I will truly give you a Digimon only fit for a bad guy like yourself. Your partner mirrors your inner chaotic nature, and desire for destruction. Truly only a Digimon such as Susanoomon, the Destruction Digimon, is fit for an evil person like yourself. @YinYang9705Ahh yes, your partner Digimon is one of undying loyalty, willing to sacrifice all for those it holds dear. Your partner Digimon is Dorurumon.
