[IC] TTG Chapter 5: Wrath
IntSys replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Tai "This. Changes. Nothing. I'll still die," Tai kept walking. "This nightmare, as it seems, ends with either you or me. What you've done to me was horrible, and I would not hesitate to kill you were we on equal grounds, but we're not. You've cursed me... I was naive enough to collude with you. And now, Chronos is onto me. I'll either die in this coldness or to her hands." "Look at me now. I've lost everything but myself," tears began to well up in Tai's eyes. "You're right about one thing - This tournament is a mistake. I should have never entered. I wouldn't have to meet you then, and I wouldn't have to suffer because of you, and I wouldn't have to suffer because of your opponents." "... One question, by the way. Why are you still protecting me? What exactly are you trying to accomplish here?" -

Tai Tai flinched. It was her again. The last person he'd ever want to owe anything to again. "... This changes nothing, you know," behind every word he just uttered was all the hatred and fear that he had of her. He didn't even want to thank her for saving his life. He backed away from Chronos, and wandered into the barren snowfield. He wasn't sure how he was supposed to wander here for an indefinite amount of time; the cold and the hunger were already starting to get to him. -

Tai "Chronos," Tai stared into the guardian's eyes. After a short pause, he continued. "If I truly had the choice to quit, without having to be coerced to undo it or to compensate for it shortly after, would we be here now?" "I choose myself. Strike me down if you will, trap me in this frozen wasteland if you will. No one can tell me what to do anymore, not Cardinal, not you," he said, with his last bits of confidence. He had nothing else to lose but himself, after all. -

Tai "She used me... Then the other gods used me as well... I did not see it then, but now it is clear - This is a game of gods. Whether it be to subject myself to Cardinal or the opposing gods... I am just a pawn in this game, sometimes a punching bag, sometimes a slave. The only winning move is not playing," Tai looked around him, searching for a way out. "And... You are here to drag me back to the game, aren't you?" The alleyways all looked the same to him, and he might just run to a dead end soon, so he gave up running and stopped to catch his breath. "It's not happening. If you drag me back there I will punch my way out. So... Leave me ALONE!" He shouted. He felt like he was going mad, yelling at thin air. -

Tai "... That has nothing to do with... all this," Tai clenched his fists. He felt as if he was still getting haunted by the events of the tournament. He needed sleep, he thought, maybe a glass of milk as well. Or perhaps, just someone else to talk to. He began to run, to sprint. The voice only called for bad memories, and instinctively, he knew to run away. Not from the so-called "responsibility," but from whoever's imposing such guilt on him. -

Marina flew upwards to a subfort and threw starry fireballs - fused with oil paint - at the poor soldiers stationed there. With the opening barrage, she made sure to clear the subfort's surface before she landed somewhere on there that wasn't currently covered by burning oil paint, taking cover from the skeletal body's hook and the tracing fire from the other subforts. -

Tai ... No. It's not his responsibility. It was never his. He was just told that it was his. He glared at the alleyway long and hard. "Whoever you are... You don't get to say what I'm responsible for," he muttered. He turned his back on the alleys, and strode toward the transporter hub, his pace accelerating without him noticing. His eyes rolled back and forth, avoiding eye contact with curious passersby. -

Pokemon in Space [IC Chapter #03]
IntSys replied to Bfroger6's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Emmaunel wore fairly little. A straw hat, a casual white t-shirt, and a pair of khaki beach pants, and that was all. Poochy walked alongside him, as well as Nicaea, who was especially hyperactive with the Chlorophyll kicking in. Solosis wanted none of the heat, though, so she hid in her ball As soon as the beachside was within reach, he immediately reached for the white sand. Warm and soft, much unlike the coarse, grimy dirt in #02. He felt the paradise with his own hands, and flipped onto the beach with his back, fulling embracing the warmth. "Hahahahahahahaha..." He let out a meek and long laugh, letting go of his burdens. Poochy, on the other hand, saw Zeta and imitated her by rolling in the sand as well, woofing happily. As the others had moved along, he quickly regained his pace and followed, after brushing the sand on his back off. He thought about the ghost girl, contemplating the connection between her and the Abravators' words, but it wasn't the time to investigate anyway. The more important objective was to visit Betani... who apparently lives in a tropical resort. If the others hadn't rung the doorbell yet, he would do it for them. -

Marina quickly propelled herself backwards, away from the approaching tendril of malice. She responded to the calls of the others. "I don't think I want to see what the thing's actually like, but I got a better plan... " She discarded the Drill Dozer, and wished for a red rocket launcher. From it, she fired a multitude of rockets of various colors - indicating the color of the paint they contained. She fired the rockets at the invisible wall before her, and everywhere else for that matter, as she throttled through the Sanctuary as if she was playing paintball... only with the paintball equivalent of a WMD. "See? Way more fun!" -

"What... Is this sanctuary only half invisible? That's... That's stupid!" Marina exclaimed. She knocked on the invisible wall a few times, confirming its durability, and then she wished for a drilling glove, with a robot face and a drill head that can split into two. (Basically a Drill Dozer but smaller) "Drill Dozer!" She armed the drill on her right hand and punched into the invisible wall, wishing for more drilling power as necessary. -

"... Then that's all," Emmanuel sighed, "I'll figure out the rest." He strode away from the vice president, slightly frustrated. Though, he still got something out of the reply; he had to look into the Abravator Society. Eventually, he caught up to the others. He thought about telling the others about what the Abravators had said, but that wouldn't really contribute much. Though, it wouldn't hurt to declare that they were nearly clueless. "Which came first, the Pidgey or the egg? The land or the sea? A woman thrown into the two. But who is she?" He said, mimicking the Abravators' tone. "... So yeah, the Abravators wanted us to find a woman. It's as cryptic as it sounds." -

"Vice President, I was at the Abravator Society. The Abravators were distraught by the sudden announcement of a new 'Legend.' They said that the HQ hadn't warned them, and that the HQ seemed to want to deliver the announcement early." Emmanuel raised an eyebrow. "... It's an emergency, isn't it? Could you reveal more on the HQ's end, Vice President? The Abravators' cryptic words alone would only slow our progress." -

After granting everyone the wishes they had asked for, Marina soared into the skies with the wings that she had wished for, and began to approach the mighty Sanctuary. However, she noticed something vibrating in her randoseru as she got near. Her phone wasn't in her randoseru, but rather her pockets, so it came as strange to her. She checked her randoseru, and as it turned out, it was the card she got from the unfriendly transparent jellyfish, Aetherbell. She felt some sort of power in the card, and considering how it was only vibrating when she got near to the Sanctuary, she assumed that it was because of the Epithet Card... And that it would vibrate harder as she got closer, like those metal detectors used to find treasures. She sent a message to Immanuel, telling him that she'd be scouting the fortress for a bit. Then, she wished for her body and everything she was wearing and holding to be "only visible to Immanuel, Tor, Sasha, and Chise." (Read: Selective Invisibility without having to strip) She then flew in and out of the fractured fortress pieces with Aetherbell's card in hand, looking for the Epithet Card based on its vibration frequency. -

[IC] BNWL Day 2: Trails Ablaze
IntSys replied to IntSys's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
@Strider "Here in the agency, we're required to have first-hand experience in our destination. So, I've been to the destinations before, of course!" -- An hour later, the tour bus arrived at Buckingham Palace. 10:00 AM, Buckingham Palace As everyone made their way down the bus, they could see the Queen's Guards standing in tiny sentry houses outside the palace, surrounded by curious tourists eager to take photos, as well as automated lawnmowers running slowly through the patches of grass before the palace. Midori showed everyone to the entrance, through the scattered crowds of tourists on the red, clay path. At the entrance, a tall, gray-bearded man came to greet you. "Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I'm Jerry, and I'll be your guide for your Buckingham Palace visit. We'll be using earphones in the tour, so if you have them with you at the moment, please plug them into your PETs. If not, we have ones available inside, to the right side of the lobby. Now, come inside, please." Jerry brought everyone inside, and proceeded to hand out earphones to anyone who needed them. Everyone would notice that a communication channel was opened. On the other end of the channel was an inconspicuous, gray and brown NormalNavi. "Hi, I am Jerry's assistant, and I'll be assisting him in the tour." The tour then went down without any issue. The group passed through the many rooms in the palace at a leisurely pace. After a long walk, the tour ended at the back of the palace, in the so-called Palace Garden. ... Well, something wasn't right. Seven lawnmowers zigzagged through the grass field at high speed, running wild. Other tourists were barred from stepping into the garden for obvious reasons, as men and women in suits desperately tried to chase them down. "That concludes our tour. Feel free to enjoy yourselves here at the Buckingham Palace, or perhaps you can go to the Garden Cafe to enjoy tea, coffee, and sandwiches. Though, you may want to avoid the garden for now. That'll be an issue me and the other workers will be working on. Sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Now, if you'll excuse me... " Jerry turned to the farce occurring down the garden, shook his head, and slowly walked along the garden. You could follow him if you wanted to. Or you could chase the lawnmowers on your own as well. You might get lucky. "Bye!" Midori waved her hand and sent Jerry off. "So... I wouldn't touch that mess, personally. If you get hurt abroad, the medical costs are scaaary. Anyway, like I previously said, we'll meet up at the entrance at 1 PM. I'm sure we'll all be hungry by then, so don't be late! I'll be at the Garden Cafe, but if you need my help, you can always call me!" Options: Go to the Garden Cafe with Midori. (Note: Purchases made in the cafe will not be covered by the ticket) Follow Jerry and see where he's actually going. Go back into the palace and look around. Jack into the palace network through various touchscreen guide panels in the palace. Head into the garden anyway, ignoring the out-of-control lawnmowers and the workers chasing them. Simply observe the development of the great lawnmower chase. -- Ayano "What are these people doing? They can't outrun the lawnmowers like that!" Ayano said, facepalming at the scene. "Well, they have to make it look like they're trying to fix them actively. There's probably a network controlling these things," Hotshot noted. "Wanna help'em out? It's at least more interesting than standing about for an hour." "We're not going to find a maintenance port to the network just lying around in the garden. I reckon that it's built into the palace's network, but it'd likely be sealed off to us." "What if we follow the old man? Maybe we'll be able to find the port they use to deal with the lawnmowers." "Yeaah, maybe." Ayano began to quietly follow Jerry's trails. Kenji "Tch, hell if these petty lawnmowers are going to stop me. I am Uesugi Kenji!" With pride and defiance, Kenji ran into the grass. He was, of course, yelled at by the workers and told to stay away, but he didn't care. A speeding lawnmower intercepted his march, only to be grabbed by the handle and thrown aside. It rolled a few times, taking some damage, but it managed to land on its wheels, and continued to pick up speed again. Brock "Wow, look at him go. I'm having none of that," Brock remarked, before turning to the rest of the group, "how about you guys? How are you going to spend the hour?"- 221 replies

Serra shook her head at Samantha. "It's unlocked." Dummy. That's why there's only one folder left! She opened the briefcase, revealing the folder sitting inside. "Not the kind of person to step over a client's lines, but if you're going to deal with that for me, then go ahead," she took the folder out and handed it to Samantha.

@Cronos5010 Orenucu wasn't able to find any bug hidden in itself. Though, it did echo with the part in the email where it said the Navi might not be able to notice it. On another note, the emails received through your Navi are always safe to read as the system disables scripting - they're always in plain text.- 221 replies

It's not a deadline, just the length of the trip I've prepared for you. T-This is what you signed up for, right?" [IC] BNWL Day 2: Trails Ablaze
IntSys replied to IntSys's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
@Cronos5010 The shopping mall wasn't holding any interesting event, which, made sense as it was almost closing time. ... Day 2: Trails Ablaze 9:00 AM, Earlington Hotel -> En route to Buckingham Palace Everyone made it to the bus after their morning rituals and, of course, breakfast. Speaking of which, the breakfast offered at the hotel buffet was your standard English fare - bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toasts, along with a small assortment of other options. The sky was clear, not a single cloud to be seen in miles. "Goooood morning, everyone!" - The exact same pitch, the exact same words, from none other than Midori. Kenji seemed to have gone out of his way to get earplugs for this. "I hope you've had a nice fry up! Anyway, here's today's schedule. First, we'll be going to Buckingham Palace for a tour. As you may know, the queen lives here. I'll be accompanying you but the Palace's guide will do the explanations instead. We'll rendezvous at 1 PM. After that, we'll go to this pub called the Windsor Castle. Not the actual castle, of course, but it serves good food. We've covered your lunch up to 2000 Zenny per person, which should be enough. Then, we'll cross the River Thames and visit the London Eye, more on that later. Finally, we'll be taking the Eurostar to Paris. And that's all!" "Any questions?" she asked, with a smile on her face. -- Ayano "Man, I'm actually missing rice already. All the grease... Yikes," Ayano commented on the breakfast. She fiddled around with her new chips. "The kids are such lousy netbattlers, too. I wonder if diet has something to do with that..." Kenji "And that's why the tea is there," Kenji shook his head. His eyes rolled toward Vlastimir, and then to Midori, and finally back to his own PET. @Cronos5010 As soon as Midori had finished, Vlastimir's PET beeped. It was an email.
