  1. Shamhat was fairly impressed with the size of the warehouse, as well as the amount of junk piled up inside. She took a mental note of what Hirata was looking for, and got to opening boxes as well. It probably wouldn't take very long for the group to find what they need in all these crates, so she took it as some sort of mental exercise to wear down the concussion.
  2. "I. Know." Shamhat grumbled, but eventually stopped her barrage. "Whatever. I'm ready to go now." Shamhat walked slowly to the next room, still slightly teetering from the concussion.
  3. Not sure if memeposting in Gaming General is allowed but: We wait eagerly for our savior, Skilled Roy. A Skilled Roy can beat any Fox.
  4. After awhile, Shamhat stood up slowly, groaning from the concussion. "Make way," she said angrily, as she unleashed barrages of Gravity at the giant's corpse, slowly reducing it into a smudge of grounded meat.
  5. Tai "And that... was that," Tai muttered. His hand was still suspended in midair. His thoughts lingered on Cardinal's final moments, or at least that was what it seemed to him. His eyes were laid on where Cardinal used to sit. Some grey moss. The kind of life he would've expected to survive in the barren snowfields of Gluttony. It seemed to be glowing a little, but it was hard to tell when he was so drowsy and surrounded by boundless, white snow. Something to distract himself from the emptiness, he thought. And so, he reached for the moss, holding it in his cold hands, and looking at it up close.
  6. "Okay... I'm not touching that anymore," Halley reluctantly muttered, as she initiated recovery. Action: Halley defends. [Repair Module] She additionally restores INT=6 HP, restores 2 HP to Flashy Ribbon's Barrier, and removes a debuff of choice, being Chill Touch. Perks: Action List: Equips:
  7. Tai Tai said nothing. Slowly, he turned to Cardinal, and put his right hand on her shoulders. "I forgive you," he then raised his index finger before her lips, "say no more." He wasn't even sure that he was being honest. Yet, something about a slow death made holding a grudge difficult. Maybe, the forgiveness was just a gift to a dying person, a person who had suffered as well. Or maybe, he just wanted to rest in peace, free of any lingering hatred. And then he waited. Waited, as the last person around him began to disappear. But until then, he just stared into the distorted form of a girl before him.
  8. Loadout "And now... The finishing move! Begone, foul corpse!" Shamhat launched two bursts of healing energy, searing through the giant zombie. Cura x2 (Multicast) on the Giant Zombie (Undead), dealing 1d6+INT Light damage twice!
  9. Well, it's been a rollercoaster. As the leader of Polaris, I'd like to thank all of our players for staying with us to the very end. Our performance was relatively poor, and we've had our fair share of salt amidst a few weeks, but all that can be ignored, as we've managed to have solid, consistent activity, an admirable display of dedication. I may have not been the best leader, but you guys have been the best players I could ever dream to be in the same nation with. I've had a great time with you guys, truly. Once again, thank you. ~ IntSys
  10. "Two blocks from here, to that direction," Emmanuel pointed to the general direction of the spot where they decided to split up. "It was about three minutes ago?"
  11. Loadout Shamhat glared at "Ichi," before turning back to the eldritch horror at hand. "Have at you!" She declared, as she readied her weapons. Gravity x2 (Multicast) on the Giant Zombie, dealing 2d4+INT+(2d6+INT)*(Target's current HP)/(Target's max HP) crushing damage twice!
  12. "You and your ugly fortress can go burn in hell!" Marina raised her right hand up high, pointing to the sky. "Meteor Shower!" Multiple wormholes opened up, and then, countless meteors rained upon the fortress, pounding the lesser subforts, the forming skull, and Cu. For some reasons, she could feel the content of Aetherbell's card - it's been shaking ever since she got here, and so, she decided to take advantage of it, by channeling its power and unleashing it on top of her glorious barrage. [1 Resolve: Meteor Shower + <False install>]
  13. Emmanuel thought for a few seconds before coming up with a brilliant lie. He put up his best impression of a worried tourist, and rushed to the patrolling cadets. "Excuse me! I'm looking for a person! He's on vacation here with me, but he seemed to have disappeared when I wasn't looking! I can't call him either! He has black hair and wears a black hoodie. Have you seen him?"
  14. Emmanuel took out his A-Comm and searched for the cadets' names as told. He could not help but wonder why Cathode didn't do it on her own, but then again, she was probably mad enough to forget that she had her A-Comm with her as well.
  15. Emmanuel shook his head. "Right," he said simply, before leading Uno and Cathode into another street not too far away. "We are already making enemies, huh... But, I'm sure we'll find better luck elsewhere. I think I'll handle the talking from now on. What do you say, Cathode?" He asked, as he continued searching for other cadets.
  16. "Heard that? That's the sound of a good challenge," Shamhat approached the door as she spoke. She opened the door slightly, peeping into the next room to see what they were up against.
  17. "As for me, I'm checking the assembly out as well. I'll be going on ahead," Shamhat glanced at Hirata and Yvette, before using the teleporter.
  18. "That does raise another question - how come this dimwit of an AI hasn't noticed us yet? Who knows how many cameras we've passed by so far. And besides,, we'll be generating a lot more attention when we use this thing ourselves." Shamhat argued. "Though I can understand not having enough power to do the tests."
  19. "That's... reassuring, though a few more tests wouldn't hurt, would it?" Shamhat said to Hirata. "And now we wait for the others to get here," she sat on the floor, watching Yvette summon a bunch of imps and try to talk to them.
  20. Shamhat squinted her eyes. "And we were likely this close to being atomized and thrown into the vacuum of space by the AI. Yeah no, we're not using this teleporter at its current state," she shook her head, and continued with a stern voice. "If you can't fix whatever the AI's tampered with, we'll just have to walk to the coordinates ourselves." "I'd like to trust you on this one, though. Get to work, tech wizard~" She suddenly changed her tone to an uplifting one, encouraging the girl to do what she did best. Shamhat was somewhat experienced with magitek, though she never really got into pure technology, so she'd rather give the only "expert" in the room another shot. Or more.
  21. Shamhat gave Deadlift a round of applause as she got up. Impressed, she was. She would've said more, had the macho man not engaged in another philosophical debate over power and whatnot. Amidst the bickering, she heard Hirata yelling about "a way out," and decided to take the opportunity and flee from another fight that was about to break out. Shamhat moves to the Teleporter Room as well. She found herself in a room with machinery vaguely resembling the teleporters she had seen before. "This level of technology, eh? Does it still work, Hirata?"
  22. Emmanuel looked at Cathode's clothes, and said, "I suppose you are more fit for the job than I am, then. I'll just stand back here with Uno." He then stepped backwards, moving closer to Uno.
  23. Emmanuel took one step toward the cadets, before immediately retracting upon realizing that he wasn't exactly in an identifiable attire. He whispered to Cathode and Uno, "we should pretend that we're tourists for the time being."
  24. Shamhat glared. "Have it your way, then." She sat on the floor, waiting for the mess before her to clear up on its own.
  25. Shamhat took a closer look at the gem. Despite the awful vibes, she grabbed the gem. After a few seconds, she sighed, and pushed it back to Morp. "This won't do. I won't be able to use this in decades," she said, rather disappointed, "maybe it'd work fine as a magical catalyst, but either way, it's beyond me." "Thanks for the offer, though," Shamhat walked onward through the path Deadlift had cleared up. She saw Deadlift fighting some sort of shadowy figure from a distance. Well, fighting would be an overstatement considering how his attacks were barely connecting. Since she wasn't going through this intersection without getting near the two, she decided to intervene.
