I didn't think Sawsbuck was that good against Terra. I was mistaken.
SpoilerHer Palossand couldn't deal any damage because my Sawsbuck has Sap Sipper. Since Palossand and Garchomp were her only mons left, I used X items while Palossand did nothing. Sawsbuck was faster than Garchomp and OHKO'd it with Double-Edge.

I guess Diggersby learning Surf isn't the weirdest thing in Pokemon, but it's funny nevertheless.
PS: Girafarig sucks

@Zargerth Hahaha. Well, size has always been a very complicated topic in Pokemon. It's inconsistent almost all the time. I kinda wish they wouldn't give measurements for Pokemon and just leave them for interpretation. But then we wouldn't have anything to laugh at, now would we?
-
@Youmu9 Agreed!
-
I'm starting to feel like Julia here:
-
You know what I'm going to do with this, right?
-
Tfw you train a new mon just for the upcoming gym battle and then you don't even get to use it in that battle.
-
This duo absolutely wrecked Aya. I couldn't be more proud.
-
Man, I can't wait for Strength. Then I can finally get rid of inaccurate and unreliable Take Down.
-
Behold! My secret weapon:
A beaver that shoots electric beams!
-
After toying with the Choose Starter -thingy I decided to pick this guy as my starter:
I guess with that I have now started my Normal Monotype run.
-
I managed to slay both Micolash and Logarius (in Bloodborne). Yeah, today has been great so far.
-
I'm finally done with this semester. I'm thinking about doing a Normal Monotype run of Reborn. In my opinion Normal is easy type to start with, since it has a good selection of mons right from the beginning, especially if you manage to get both Zigzagoon and Minccino.
I most likely won't create a new topic for it, but instead post some good moments or highlights in form of status updates.

So, apparently there's going to be another Monster Hunter World beta, taking place December 22nd-26th. This time PS+ isn't required.
Good thing I'm on holiday then.

I was just playing Bloodborne, finally reached Forbidden Woods (yeah, I'm not very good). Before that, however, I went and beat Djura's ass- screw you and your gatling gun!
I still insist that thus far the most difficult boss of the game is Father Gascoigne. He is also the first boss (you can kill Cleric Beast first, but that's optional). I died like 20 times before finally beating him.

@Wolfox I dunno, haven't really played Castlevania games.
-
Tfw you find out Slaking's Japanese name is Kek king.
-
Phew! All Gym Leaders up to this point defeated. While the new gym leaders were tough, they weren't the most difficult ones for me. I still have some side quests left, apparently.
Spoilers regarding the new Gym Leaders:
SpoilerTitania's Excadrill definitely hits hard, but you can counter Titania with her own strategy (kinda): Magic Seeds. My hoarding habit was finally of use, since I had plenty of Seeds. Incineroar, A-Dugtrio and Bewear did the heavy lifting in this battle.
I have to say, I liked Amaria's water puzzle, except the part where she tried to kill me. That Swampert was in my opinion the toughest one to take down, followed by Azumarill. Assault Vest Araquanid was really useful here, because it could easily tank Kingdra and Ludicolo.

Spoiler
I just defeated Titania in my Bug monotype, while I still can't figure out how to do it in my original save file. xD
It was pretty much a sweep by my Galvantula, believe it or not. Forretress, Illumise, Volbeat and Scolipede helped as well, but Galvantula carried hard. I gave Illumise a Magical Seed too btw, it helped a lot. And I didn't even have to use my Moxie Heracross, while Volcarona stayed boxed for this one, cause Klefki is a complete counter to Volcarona in this field.
Congrats Zargerth!

Mine has a lot of special attackers, but none able to hurt Steel types, since Bugs have no Ground types... When I was breeding for a okay-ish Joltik though, I checked the Hidden Power types and found one with Ground! That's how Excadrill was dealt with
Heliolisk is a good choice. Give it the Exp. Share and use the trainers in Grand Hall. Luck Incense too will help you buy a few are Candies. Today the double-battle couple is in Grand Hall, which means ~25k per win (with Luck Incense)

Well, shit.
-
So this just happened...
SpoilerI just swept Ciel with Dodrio. One Swords Dance, Two Thrashes and plenty of luck!
-
(Major spoilers!) So, I'm at the point where I have to make the choice. In short, what are the advantages/disadvantages of each alternative?
SpoilerWhat happens if I battle Taka? What if I don't?
-
Yeah, Silvally is actually really good in Reborn.
SpoilerI defeated the Mewtwo with a single Explosion: Silvally can easily survive whatever Mewtwo throws at it, also Silvally seems to become ???-type.
-
Is it just me, or (spoiler alert, sort of)
SpoilerDo the various Seeds throw anyone else off their guard/game?
-
I think several of the ones that give shield effects work really well if they switch them in manually, but with the AI that doesn't happen super often and when they just come in normally after a KO, some effects like that feel a bit wasted. the fact that the player can use them a bit too is cool though
-
I should go to Agate, but I kinda don't want to.
-
Pretty good, even if I say so myself
-
How did you find Murkrow, Zorua and Zangoose again? I'm currently on my way to Chrysolia Forest.
