I defeated the jester duo. Malamar was great in this battle, too. It was a relatively easy battle: even if Aelita's AI isn't particularly smart, her team works as a nice bait at least. I also noticed that they have 2 Bronzongs: one lvl 75 and the other lvl 80.
Here's the team I used:
I also beat the Dimensional Rift Ferrothorn. That thing has absurd amount of HP, but that can also be it's weakness: It's no longer a Grass-type so Leech Seed works against it. I got ridiculous amounts of HP back, easily over 100 or so. I also paralyzed it with Nuzzle, so basically when it couldn't move, I recovered so much health that it equals to using Hyper Potion.

Flora is rooted out. At first I didn't do so well, because I got her and Florin's teams mixed and thought she leads with Breloom. I lead with Exeggutor, only to find out she has Ferrothorn. So after a quick glance at field effect notes I taught Exeggutor Nature Power: it should turn into Dazzling Gleam and hit Ferrothorn super-effectively (because of the field). That didn't work either, since it still turned into Tri Attack. Then I brought in the gardener, Contrary Malamar, and my gosh this thing did a number on Flora's team. Espeon, Exeggutor and Alakazam did the rest.
What sucks is that I had to bring a mon with Surf, filling one important slot I really wanted to reserve for Oricorio. This is also one of the few times I didn't bring A-Raichu:

When banning people isn't enough, put them in a coma. That will teach them:
-
Erick is short circuited. I actually lost to him once, I got paralyzed and couldn't land the finishing blow. I changed my strategy and that did the trick.
I brought some new mons with me this time around:
-
Spector wasn't a particularly spooky opponent, since he is completely helpless against Flash (he doesn't seem to have the ability to change the field back to the original).
I let A-Raichu and Espeon do the heavy lifting, while Meowstic provided Light Screen, Reflect and Flash support.
-
Defeated Amber. I have to admit, this battle didn't exactly go as I had planned. My original idea was to remove the field with Surf, then barrage her team with field-boosted Power Gem. Let's just say that didn't work. Still, I got my badge.
Here's my team:
-
before an emotion powder:
Calm slepy paecful mountin
Aftor 3 emoton powdr:
Mean angery mountin

You get banned! And you get banned! Everybody gets banned!

I beat the crazy lady. It would've been another A-Raichu sweep if not for my blunder: A-Raichu leveled up past the cap (lvl 55) during the battle and disobeyed me. Fortunately my other mons were able to finish the job. This is my team, I'm planning on catching and training a couple of new mons:
I used to struggle against Angie a lot, I guess Dual Screen support is just that good.
-
Crawli's bugs are crushed. Both Crawli and Ren provided actual challenge, maybe I need to pay more attention to my EVs
and could've leveled Orciorio up to lvl 50 for Hurricane smhHere's my team:
I also got my hands on Prankster Meowstic, and despite being severely under-leveled it still did well against Saki and Venam.
-
Valarie is down. That Lanturn of hers was really bulky, Psychic after 2 Nasty Plots didn't OHKO it. 3 Nasty Plots finally did the trick, I pretty much steamrolled the battle.
-
I did it! Narcissa was easily the most difficult battle thus far. Fortunately I found one Ability Capsule in Wispy Tower, and changed Mr. Mimes ability to Soundproof. Yeah, Mr. Mime was da MVP in this battle. This is the crew that got the job done:

@ZargerthThere's one in Amethyst Grotto.

Eli and Sharen were actually challenging to defeat. Geara on the other hand and surprisingly, not so much.
SpoilerThe typo is intentional.

You know what I like? To sweep Gym Leaders with A-Raichu. It's been smooth sailing so far, but that's bound to change. Here's my team atm:

If there's a legit way, but it's too troublesome, then it is OK by my rules to hack a few Ability Capsules in by debug menu to save time. Honestly though, we're 11 Gym Badges in. We should've been able to buy Ability Capsules since like 5th Gym, it's not that crazy/game breaking to have Ability Capsules.
-
@JessThey used to be available on route 3, but that was removed in V8 or 9 from what I remember. Might ask Jan if he'll add them in again.
-
@Azeria It would be great to have them. Not having them post-(say) 5th Gym doesn't offer anything with regards to game difficulty, since we can breed for 'mons with the correct Ability. It just saves us time (and helps morally, cause I'm bonding with my mons too much to replace them by breeding for better Ability).

I've been looking for Zangoose for a while now. I've found 3 shiny Charjabugs and a shiny Fletchinder, but still no Zangoose. I honestly don't know if I should consider myself lucky or unlucky.
Edit: Make that 4 shiny Charjabugs.
Update: I also found the Zangoose I needed.

Defeated Keta, I need to train new mons (or just buy Reverse Candies, but I really don't want to use them). My current team:
-
Just defeated Venam. Needless to say, with type advantage it wasn't hard at all. Here is my team so far:
-
@ArcherEric Yup!

Since I enjoyed my previous Monotype run and while waiting for Version 10, I've decided to do another Monotype run, this time of Rejuvenation Intense Mode. The type of choice will be Psychic. I initially planned to start the game with Ralts, but after failing to get one my starter will be Espeon instead:
Speaking of jackpot starters, this perfectly describes my attempts of getting one:
-
E17 new Gym Leaders are defeated! I guess that concludes my Normal Monotype run. I actually had lots of fun with this, especially since mid-game.
SpoilerI have the Z-ring quest left, but I dun goofed and evolved the Loudred into Exploud long time ago.

What can I say? I'm on holiday, so I have lots of free time. How do I take a big screenshot?
-
Here. I have to give dishonorable mentions to Girafarig and Audino, as I didn't use them much at all in important battles (besides as death fodder). Furret scouted Heart Scales with it's Frisk ability. I also used the Igglybuff you get early on, but have already returned it.
Edit: Weather mod allowed me to randomize my starter, so my first mon was Komala.

E17 Spoilers:
SpoilerYes Zekrom, that's what I would say as well if I got one-shot by Drampa that's 20 levels lower.
-
I didn't think I would've been able to defeat Adrienn on my first try, considering that my team was somewhat under-leveled (68-75 range). But that's exactly what I did, thanks to my Defiant Braviary with Tailwind.

The Kek king strikes again! This time OHKOing most of Ciel's team. I think the field boosts to Strength definitely helped, I didn't even know that was a thing.
