On paper its moveset doesn't look great, but in practice, being a bulky Grass type with access to Earthquake, Horn Leech and Bulk Up is amazing in certain scenarios, and the nature of Reborn lets off-picks like Gogoat thrive. It's a one trick pony for sure but it does its job very, very well. It sets itself apart from Torterra and Chesnaught with its better survivability, having no 4x weakness and carrying a STAB life-leeching move, so there isn't really a direct "replacement" for it; that being said you'll still probably want to seriously consider dropping it around the end of the Agate arc.

Yeah, I'd probably drop it by Ciel. Most opponents after that are too strong for it to get going and keep going, even in seemingly advantageous matchups like Amaria or Hardy. It certainly won't be your mainstay because there are some battles it just won't do much in - Cain, Radomus, Aya etc. Know what you can set up on and Gogoat can do wonders, bring it into the wrong battle and it's pretty much useless. It's far from impossible to work into a 6 'mon team (I've done it twice) but it does excel more on a rotation.

Ampharos IMO. Electric terrain came in clutch for taking down gym leaders who abuse  field effects. Late game it help get through the water treatment plant. Screw that place.

Grubbin is nighttime only I think. and if you get joltik instead, IMO that's even better

have you tried fishing in different locations? maybe Horsea only appears on a specific floor...

As a big fan of Cynthia I have to say Garchomp is the better one of the two, yet I can not hate Flygon

Gen VII made them pretty much equal, thanks to D.Dance on Flygon!

For the rest, as you have said, if you have the TMs, then Garchomp is better. If not (e.g. Reborn), then Flygon without a single thought.

If I understand you correctly, you need to use blizzard (or a similar move) during a battle in that cave. Then, the water will freeze and you can access an area that you couldn't before. There should be an interesting item waiting there for you

well, that's because Mega Lucario will most likely be one of the last mega's we obtain because it would most likely break the game if we got it earlier. And maybe the aura was removed because people outside of the forum told ame to stop ripping off Goku with the shiny?

mb.... i mean the sprite for M Lucario with the goku aura isnt there its only for rilou and lucario.... but if Ame made one that would be sick
