No it doesn't work because I forgot Yveltal is a dark type and Mirror Coat is a psychic move. SO. The new plan will be: 1) Send Smeargle (Focus Sash) to Sketch the move. 2) Swap for Pathetic the Unown or whoever else so they can die and save the next Pokemon taking a hit 3) Send in a Pokemon with a very high Special Defense that's holding a Ring Target and have it use Trick or Switcheroo so the Yveltal is now vulnerable to Psychic types moves. 4) THEN let THAT Pokemon die, so Chiller or whoever I have with Mirror Coat can reflect the damage back and kill Yveltal. EDIT: This plan works but now I've realised that the whole thing is fucking pointless since Decimation has a Power Level of 100 now and isn't an insta-kill move anymore. Which is scary from a Yveltal...but not a Smeargle. So I'm changing the title of the chapter. FUCK.

Switch in to another Pokemon, let it die, then switch into a Pokemon with Focus Sash and use Mirror Coat. Either that or another Focus Sash mon with Destiny Bond.

I'd say you'd have to rely on cheese strategies then. Like Curse or other status ailments to weaken the thing. If you've got a Pokemon with Sturdy you could send it in at a low level do you can keep healing it to full repeatedly until Mewtwo eventually kills itself with Hyper Mode. -

The early game has changed significantly since I last played it but since you've already completed the game, you have an idea of what it's going to throw at you so my best advice is to just stick to the normal rules, but be more generous with the capture rules. Like overworld Pokemon you feed Gourmet treats not counting towards it or having a dupe clause so you don't get multiple Zigzagoons or something. And don't put it on Set unless you're particularly masochistic. Well...you don't HAVE to lose those battles. You can still win them so you should try to do so. The Yveltal is a crapshoot however. You could give yourself one pass for that battle alone. -

Sigma Male Salandit. Nice. Salazzle Crest: Every Poison Move has a 20% chance to infatuate an opponents Pokemon. Can just be male only if it's too broken. Haxorus Crest: Speed and Attack Boost every time it gets past an opponents ability due to Mold Breaker. Escavelier Crest: Gives it Heatproof and maybe exchange it's Speed with it's Special Attack? Seems odd that a Pokemon with jousting lances for arms is so slow. Vanilluxe Crest: Give it Slush Rush or Snow Cloak while still keeping Snow Warning. -
