  1. For more info on the Chikorita event, you can show a Chimecho for one on Azurine Island in the house where you saved Cain.
  2. Venoshock is found in Mr. Bigglesworth's room, in Byxbian Wastelands. You need to activate all of the Corey-gym-gasey-things across the wasteland and then follow a path that opens up until you encounter the large, talking Garboder. If you can find a video for how to get Mudkip/Squirtle, the process is very similar.
  3. WELCOME BACK! Granted, I haven't been here long enough to have known you before you took your break, but welcome back anyway!
  4. WELCOME! You're going to fit right in, we're all crazy silly fans of pokemon and some of us might actually know what Touhou is! Enjoy your time here, I'm guessing you'll be staying a while.
  5. WELCOME! As someone who will be doing a Dark/Ghost type run fairly soon, I look forward to seeing how you handle your concept differently, I really like the idea and hope that it turns out great.
  6. WELCOME and hope you enjoy your (probably pretty long) stay!
  7. A fun battle for both sides between me and Lord Regal. Testing out a new team on my side and him struggling with trying to beat it. Mistakes were made, but much fun was had. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-246718904 And he might post his side of the battle after this maybe.
  8. Umbreon OP. Needs nerfs. Dem defense stats 3gud5me. In all seriousness, Umbreon is actually pretty well known as an excessively solid tank and, along with Vaporeon and most recently Sylveon, is known as one of the most effective and useful Eeveelutions in the current meta. In reborn, where moves like Scald and Hyper Voice aren't available, Umbreon edges toward the top of the Eeveelution list. Even as a level 48 with no EV training (look at its base stats for a second, those things are MASSIVE), it'll take hits like a champ and be able to Moonlight, Confuse Ray, and Yawn without a care in the world.
  9. Even if I don't do Eevee Breeder for this story run, I'm going to want to do it sooner or later. That's too good of an idea to pass up. The vote is done. With 6 votes, the chosen run is Nightmare, a Dark/Ghost type run. I will be putting together a plan and start writing things up for the story, thank you everyone who voted and submitted ideas. If a mod drops by and is willing, please lock this thread.
  10. Apologies for the double post, going to be closing the poll tomorrow around this time. I'll be requesting that this thread be closed around that time as well and will be working on getting started.
  11. I believe that Drilbur is now one of the pokemon you can get from the Mystery egg, the one you get from trading away a Growlithe egg. I don't know if there's an event to get it otherwise.
  12. Dang, I wanted to see Titania get high...
  13. Move tutor house key is available a little before the sixth badge. You'll get into an area underground where you have to switch a bunch of rails around, start rock smashing the dark patches on the walls, you should find the key in no time. But by around that point, you might be close enough to level 53 that you won't want to waste a Heart Scale on Water gun and instead just wait for Muddy Water.
  14. Has the Tirtouga/Archeops event changed at all? Don't remember seeing meteor grunts in the Spinel Town Museum and can't find any other references to that event.
  15. What counts as a sweet for this? Ice Creams? Cotton Candies? Common/Rare Candies? 'Rare Candy'?
  16. I've never used one either, so it'd probably work just fine (though I'm just now realizing that rock increases your weakness to fighting just in time to start on the fighting Gym, which I'm not real happy with recommending but meh). And sorry about the Mudkip, if you can find a download of Ep14 then you can get a Mudkip in Byxbian Wasteland where you'd find a Squirtle in Ep15.
  17. Not going to really comment on the sets you've got, but I would recommend trying to get another member on the team. You're pretty solid on a spread of types, but picking up a Fighting type (Throh, Sawk, Medicham, Scrafty) or a Water or Rock (Binacle, Corphish, Graveler/Golem) type wouldn't hurt you at all. Sylveon is going to be available after the next gym (don't count on it coming up too soon) and Mudkip's been axed, replaced by a Squirtle, though that one's available a little before Aya (replacement poison gym leader)
  18. Only issue I have with CurseLax being on this list is that it's not what I'd call a purely defensive pokemon. It hits too hard once it gets set up. In all seriousness, you can breed Curse onto Snorlax using an Avalugg or Bergmite, then set it up with Body Slam, Rest, and either Sleep Talk, Crunch, or Heavy Slam, give it a defensive EV spread of whatever you like between HP, Def, and SpDef with a Careful or Impish nature, and go to town. You can alternatively set it up with Stockpile by training it from a Munchlax, which gives it more balanced defenses and less offensive power.
  19. I have a psychosis about wanting to be independent. It's not really a big deal, just bugs me. I'll get over it anyway, though. Oh, and poll's up.
  20. Lotad learns Mist at level 15. It evolves at level 14. Lombre doesn't learn Mist at all. Thus, almost nobody ever gets to see that Lotad learns it and I really don't blame you for thinking it was an egg move. Source: http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Lotad_(Pok%C3%A9mon)
  21. For reasons that should be obvious for anyone here who's ever been in that awkward kind of situation, I'm going to need to be pretty careful with this idea. I want to make it something PC related rather than an arbitrary limit, so I'm not going to do a "heavy" side run to avoid unfortunate implications, but a "lighter than I am to show that little people can do things" type run does sound pretty nice. Limit here would probably be around 100 pounds, give or take 10, to allow for a couple starters to fully evolve.
  22. I'm going to start paring down the number of runs I've got up top, but I really like the Ground/Fire idea, so I'll be adding that one to the list. Steel/Electric is an interesting idea, I'll add that one to the list... and the Eevee breeder run sounds like a TON of fun. The only real issue I have with it is the fact that I'd need to ask someone to mod up a file and add two or three Eevees in, but that shouldn't be too bad. That and basic Eevee is pretty weak.
  23. WELCOME! Community rules on the left, search bar above that, and showdown link above that. Feel free to post whenever you feel like, nobody forcing you to be the thread fairy and come give all the good little threads bumps. At the same time, don't hesitate the come on and ask questions, especially in the On the Hunt section whenever you're looking for something. Message Regal if you prefer some one on one interaction, since he offered and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't mind a chat at all. But welcome to the community, hope you enjoy your stay, however often you visit, and best of luck!
