  1. You breed it with Ditto, the only thing that can breed with genderless pokemon.
  2. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Power items alter EVs, not Ivs. I'm pretty sure IVs can't be altered after the pokemon is generated (hatched, caught, received, etc). The type of Hidden Power is entirely dependent on the IVs. So basically, you can't change the Hidden Power of your pokemon without soft-resetting. EDIT: Nvm didn't realize power items did that. Gonna change the way I breed from now on... Double EDIT: http://3dspedia.com/iv-spreads-hidden-power-types-pokemon-xy/ This site tells you what IVs will yield which types. Hope this helps!
  3. Just bumping this so I can potentially get some feedback... Please help a noob...
  4. When is the Dratini tournament going to happen? Dragonite's my favorite psuedo. Not that I have any chance of actually winning...

I'm thinking Makuhita and Kricketot are fairly good hitters for facing Flobot.
  6. If Pokemon has taught me anything, it's that criminal organizations will bow down to a ten-year old if the ten-year old can beat the boss in a Pokemon battle, and do not carry anything like guns.
  7. So I decided to try making my own semi-competitive team, based on some of my favorite Pokemon to use in Pokemon Reborn. I decided to try UU since many of the Pokemon I like are in that tier. I would appreciate any suggestions/tips in regard to my team before I try running it against other players. Arcanine @ Life Orb Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Flare Blitz - Extreme Speed - Wild Charge - Close Combat Umbreon @ Leftovers Ability: Synchronize EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD Calm Nature - Wish - Protect - Baton Pass - Foul Play Crobat @ Black Sludge Ability: Infiltrator EVs: 248 HP / 48 Def / 212 Spe Jolly Nature - Brave Bird - U-turn - Defog - Roost Heracross @ Flame Orb Ability: Guts EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Facade - Megahorn - Swords Dance - Close Combat Ampharos @ Ampharosite Ability: Static EVs: 132 HP / 252 SpA / 124 Spe Modest Nature - Thunderbolt - Dragon Pulse - Focus Blast - Volt Switch Aggron @ Leftovers Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 16 Def / 240 SpD Impish Nature - Stealth Rock - Roar - Heavy Slam - Earthquake
  8. Jolteon, Gardevoir and Metagross were the key members in both the Water Treatment center and Ciel's battle. Shoutout to Crobat for 1HKOing Mega Altaria.
  9. In my first battle, this guy tried to troll me to get out of certain defeat. Then I found the timer button. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/randombattle-248861437 In this one, I thought I was gonna lose at the end, but somehow turned it around. http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/randombattle-249190497
  10. How do I report a troll in Showdown? My opponent is being a troll cause he can't get through Calm Mind Mewtwo that I got in a random battle.

  11. Something I did: Sturdy Onix spam Rock Tomb until dead to lower speed Jolteon spam T-Wave until El has no Full Heals (Backup T-Wave is recommended) Gallade spam Close Combat until victory (2 backup fighters are recommended)
  12. I would recommend special attackers with good accuracy moves like flamethrower, since Serra's mirror field lowers accuracy, damaging physical attackers that miss, and Drought Vulpix is no longer here to bail us out when it comes to hail. (Unless you are playing Episode 14 or earlier.) I'm pretty sure it would be a safe bet to use a fire, a fighting, an electric, and a dark(to deal with her ace) pokemon when fighting.
  13. Any recommendations for someone who liked/likes the following? (List is not in any particular order, just randomly scrolled through my booknark list) Log Horizon Death Note The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Overlord Gate: Jieitai Baka to Test Problem Children Are Coming From Another World, Aren't They? DanMachi
  14. Welcome to the forums! I too have memories of the glorious Gen I, with my first game being Pokemon Yellow. If you are ever not sure about the weaknesses/typing/learnset of a certain pokemon, use Bulbapedia. When I started Reborn, it helped me a ton with all the Gen 4-6 pokemon. Anyways, welcome again, and enjoy the suffering storyline!
  15. Same here, working on that now. (Starting over isn't fun though... I like having Blaziken with Blaze Kick and Sky Uppercut, not Combuskin with Double Kick and Ember...)
  16. There is another way. The method where you switch to Episode 13 on your save file in between episodes. I only did this after I cleared Episode 15 to get a jump on getting a decent Weaville and Gliscor.
  17. Favorite beverage? Hands-down iced tea. Not the stuff they have in America. The sweetened, lemony kind we have in Canada.
  18. But just for the reference, 7th street is unlocked after you defeat Radomus. Then you will go talk to the boss of whichever gang you chose to join, and they'll tell you where to go.
  19. My bad, thanks. I'll fix the list right away. I'm thinking that siding with El is an "incorrect" choice, which may lead to a bad ending, or, at the very least, keep you from encountering a certain legendary. Finding all the police may only impact Corey's gym, or it may also impact the ending as well. Hopefully the Garchomp battle only impacts the battle at the mansion and not the ending, because I don't want to use a Focus Sash in that battle... Also, if you give Blake the ring, do you encounter Aster later on when he would give you Waterfall?
  20. I know someone made one of these topics a while back, but I was unable to find it and it was missing a few options. I figured that since the spoiler lock for Episode 15 has ended, it might be interesting to speculate on how the choices we took in our adventure will impact how the game ends. If I miss some crossroads, please let me know so I can edit this post. As far as I can remember, the choices include: 1) Whether or not you beg Fern -Sigh... I admit I begged Fern... 2) Finding all of the police officers before facing the final Tangrowth -I actually didn't know where the last police officer was until after Corey's death, and didn't know it would change the story 3) Joining the Aqua or the Magma gang -Personally, I doubt this will change the ending of the game, but I chose team Aqua 4) Beating Garchomp in the boss fight with Solaris -I let him curbstomp me since I didn't have any gimmick pokemon at the time. 5) Saving Heather or going on to fight Sirius -I'm not going to just leave a girl be electrocuted by a madman just cause she's a brat! Now if it were Fern on the other hand... 6) Going upstairs or staying downstairs when Team Meteor invades -I thought Laura, a member of the E4, would be able to handle a guy with a team of level 30-40 pokemon 7) Siding with El or Radomus -I follow Lord Helix only! Jk, but El just kinda seemed like a fanatic, so I chose to beat Arceus. The Gardevoir with El was a fake, so... 8) How you answer Charlotte's question of how important the Ruby Ring is -Said the Ruby Ring was more important than lives. She seemed happy with my answer, so... 9) Whether or not you give Blake the ring -Kept it. didn't want Team Meteor to have another key. I got a shiny charm, so... 10) Giving Titania candy in the Water Treatment Center -I honestly can't remember encountering this choice, but since I've never had Blue Moon Ice Cream, I'm assuming I missed my chance. 11) Whether or not you decide to fight Taka to save him from his father's wrath -Taka's been passively helping us all the time, and covering his tracks just enough to stay as an Admin. I decided I owed him at least this one favor. EDIT: Some kind people pointed out some spots I missed, and cramming them is chronological order would ruin all the other posts. 12) Whether or not you say your are a new student when you speak with Kiki. -Yes 13) Whether or not you claim to have seen Titania chatting with a grunt in the woods. -Yes 14) Whether or not you admit to reading the diary. -No 15) Whether or not you tell Amaria what was in the diary. -No
  21. Pretty sure my Arcanine's Heat Wave and Vulpix's Drought had something to do with my victory... Oh and Gallade and Blaziken helped too.
  22. Just wondering, would it be better in reborn to run a Guts Heracross with the Toxic Orb or a Poison Heal Gliscor?

      Darvan Korematsu

Poison Heal Gliscor, but for an entirely different reason. It's faster than Gliscor even after investment, it's bulkier, has a slightly better typing, and an AMAZING physical movepool plus natural Swords Dance. That's a Gliscor everyone forgets to exist.

My mistake. Gliscor being compared to Heracross. Gliscor is faster than *Heracross.

Mkay, now I want an EQ TM as well as Toxic...

Would running Gliscor with Facade, Sword Dance, Sky Uppercut, and Thunderfang make sense?

  23. Decent anime list and great quote in the spoiler. 9.5/10
  24. I'd like to point out that Aegislash's level of 80 may not be the level it will be when we face her. Florina, Shelly and Aya all trained their pokemon between our encounters with them.
  25. No, go onto the second floor of the museum. Then go out onto the roof of the museum. There should be two pots against the neighboring building. Walk straight between them to go into a hidden room. There, you will find the cabinet and an ice cream vending machine that drops Vanillites when you try to buy a vanilla ice cream cone. EDIT: And, as for the sticker event, you must talk to the lady in a green dress outside the pokemon center to trigger it. She will only appear on a clear day, but once you find her, she will teleport away after you talk to her and reappear in the forest.
