    I really wanted Gladion to win

    I mean, Ash finally got to be a champion and that's great. But now it gives the impression that he'll have to stay in Alola

    Perhaps he later forgoes the title to explore a new region aka Galar

      To be fair, he should have been the champion of Kalos. Part of the finals match of Ash vs. Alain made no sense, imo. Ash-Greninja was so gonna win with that pumped up Giant Water Shuriken disc, but Blast Burn striking first and knocking out Ash-Greninja? Nope.
