Yeah, Lopunny would still be pretty outclassed even in NU, but at least it would find a home where people might use it. I guess I can see that perspective. It wouldn't really make sense to use Manectric in a low tier rather than Mega Manectric in a higher tier (which I still don't like being in OU), unless you honestly only play low tier. But there are some cases which I think that the regular should be split from the Mega, still. It's good that Smogon is working on separating them, though. To be honest, I expect most of them going down to NU or maybe even PU, since most of them sucked without their Megas...

As many of you know, Smogon has something called "tiers". With the introduction of Mega Evolutions in gen 6, the tiers have adapted to them. However, something I noticed was that in some cases, Pokemon are tiered differently than their Mega Evolutions (i.e. Mega Gallade in BL and regular Gallade in BL3), whereas others are not (i.e. both Absol and Mega Absol in UU). The problem with the latter is that some Pokemon are not viable in higher tiers without their Mega, but are in lower tiers. I was just wondering what your opinions on this are. What non-Mega Pokemon would you change the tier of and why? Personally, one of the many Pokemon I would change is Lopunny. It is completely garbage in OU without its Mega, but in NU or maybe even in RU, with an amazing speed, it can definitely cripple some Pokemon. It gets Thunder Wave, Encore, and Switcheroo at its disposal (which can be combined with Klutz), along with Healing Wish or Heal Bell to be a cleric, and maybe even Agility OR Power-Up Punch with Baton Pass if you feel like doing that type of team. And of course, it would suffer competition from other trickster Pokemon like Prankster Meowstic or Trick Rotom, but at least it'll be used, since it has multiple moves that it could be used. Also forgive me if I look like I don't know what I'm talking about, I'm not a great competitive player, but I at least understand the gist of how things work.

Another thing was that you used to be able to battle El in Serra's Gym in some old episode, in which he would have a very powerful (at least for this part of the game) Snorlax, supporting his Normal team. That could always return... Anyway, El might also have a Mega Kangaskhan, which would be pretty scary. I'm not sure how it would fit him, though.

The Melia leaving you after losing thing is a known bug. I guess you will just have to try again and again until you beat them.

They cycle between the Abilities. You'd need to use multiple Ability Capsules if one does not give you the Ability you want.

Sharpedo could be another possibility, really. It doesn't seem too powerful unless you are utilizing Speed Boost, and it's pretty frail. I was thinking about Houndoom because not everyone uses Sun, so it won't be as beneficial. As for Camerupt, yeah, it's strength and bulk was the exact reason why I was hesitant to put it on the list. Still, again, not everyone uses Trick Room, but even without it, Mega Camerupt can be fairly effective. As for Absol, it's a pretty powerful glass cannon, yeah. I'm not sure we'll get it with the weaker ones, but some people hope so.

I would say Tania gets Mega Scizor and Bennett gets Mega Beedrill, but I don't really know.

Pretty true, unless you're very ambitious and want unique features like Fields. Still, you could always PM somebody who has experience with Essentials... Oh well, there's bound to be a couple threads asking for help.

Yeah, pretty much what Dark said. Also, I was thinking to have a subforum for fan-game help (i.e. how to implement this) and suggestions (i.e. should I play this?). Of course, the fan-game subforum doesn't have too many threads right now, but as I stated before, it will get pretty crowded...

I expect Adrienn to have another Field underneath the Misty Terrain, since it only stays for 3 turns from Mist now. What it will do, who knows?

Anyway, a new (but probably unnecessary) idea: Have a subforum for Reborn Showdown Server stuff? It could have Server news (cleaning up Mews and Announcements a bit), as well as threads about clubs on the server like the AlphaOmega one or Rose's Gaming Night? Again, probably unnecessary. Also, the Fan-Game Expose subforum might be getting a bit popular and crowded; perhaps we should separate the fan-games in development from the help threads with making a fan-game or the suggestions for fan-games? It's not necessary right now, but it's definitely going to keep expanding, and the idea might be needed then.
