Adieu to disappointment and spleen.

Here's my Character tier list for anyone interested, I decided to slightly modify it after posting the one on Reddit because Im a bit further in the game and my opinions changed. Also bear in mind that in no way Im judging the writing of any characters, just my personal "How much I like x" kinda thing. A terribly written character can be still very enjoyable, and vice versa,

Like, I understand why people don't like Amaria, and I consider her arc with Titania to be one of the biggest barriers in me recommending reborn to people (leading off your pokemon game review with TW: suicide isn't exactly gonna persuade anyone), but despite that I still find their relationship...funny, almost?
Like, there's a sort of inherent comedy to two people having the worst breakup of their life. twice. while you're just trying to get the magic cd rom or shiny medal that lets you get back to worldsaving.
Saphira I think is different to Tania in that she just has a family-centered morality. Her siblings, blood and otherwise, are the only thing with any real value to her.
Titania on the other hand is just. Chaotic Lawful. She has a massively complex moral code but nobody knows what the hell it is.
That said, she's definitely one of my favorite characters, even if she's a terrible person. Extremely compelling. I want to study her like a bug.
Taka...Taka I actually like a lot, but I can see why someone else wouldn't. Just kinda going along with your shitty parents and their shitty ideas because you don't think there's another choice is something I relate to.
Lin is hysterical. Team meteor has a leader who does zero actual leading because she's too busy flying around making her bizarre philosophical point. Her true nature is unknown. Anna can't see her. She's completely invincible. She skipped the elite 4 because she CBA to deal with them. She's Terra's friend. I'm very very excited to find out more about her but if she left the story after being beaten and vanished from the story without any answers I think that would be funny as hell.

Hey everyone. Whos excited for Legends: Arceus? This game might shape future Pokemon games....

Terra gave me such a hard time this playthrough. Well actually I got her down to her last pokemon several times but Swagsire just cockblocks my entire team and being unable to set up against it really hurt us. I tried changing the field and brute forcing it, but in the end I had no choice but to use destiny bond from qwilfish which was my planned method to deal with Garchomp who none on my team could take on...or so I thought. Turns ot by letting Scrafty set up dragon dances against palossand, I was able to get fast and hit hard enough for HJK to KO Garchomp after damage from spikes. Once Swagsire and Excadrill were out of the picture the rest were pretty easy for my remaining mons to deal with. I even caught and raised a Venomoth for this fight lol, it was useful for Nidoking and baiting out Swagsire early so I guess it worked out. But yeah, Her and Corey have been the hardest gyms so far for this playthrough.

wait...how'd you have a clefable at Solaris I? I thought that was a circus exclusive. Well, fair play either way, I'm kind of sick of Magnezone after using it all through reborn as well.
RE: Saphira: I'm gonna use Stealth Rocks, Noivern, Mega Scep, and the next three fastest dragons I can get my hands on. With that massive 2x field boost to dragon moves, and +1 spAtk from the seed, all that matters is outspeeding and OHKO-ing everything. Granted, with the boosted levels of leaders these days, I may need tailwind/webs to pull all that off, but it should be worth it to just ignore whatever nonsense she has planned.

Man, I just cheesed this fight completely. Granted I knew what was coming, so I could EV train a spd/spdef scolipede before leaving for Agate, but I can't imagine how hard it would be to actually fight her straight up, instead of using speed boost protect baton pass Scolipede to pass +1 speed to Unaware Cosmic Power/Stored Power Clefable so I could set up and sweep.

Been a while, but here's an update.
My grandpa is in the hospital, has been since last week. He's coming home Thursday. But not because he's gotten much better. He's mostly going home to pass away.

So if Titania's Aegislash faints, would she still be able to wield its unconscious body as a weapon?
-
Recommend me a book/novel peeps

Who knew Minecraft could be fun lol. I was today years old when I finally played it. Took me long enough.
-
Just beat Adrienn! Took me only 1 try with my Genius and Innovative strategy of using tailwind and spamming steel-types!
Also Byleth's in smash, so, that's cool.

Oh, sorry, didn't see this since I was burned out on this game for a month after all the grinding I did to get through the circus arc. My full party was:
Crobat/Klinklang as leads
Magnezone
Alolan Ninetales
Alolan Sandslash
Flygon
Thanks for the recommendation on Sandslash, he's still named after you. Ninetales is strong on her own and turns on slash like you wouldn't believe. The full plan used an air balloon on klinklang to block the initial earthquake while Crobat set Tailwind and Klinklang set Gear Shift. Field-boosted +1 Gear Grind is monstrous. A!Ninetales doesn't have SE STAB, but she does have Aurora Veil and Hail-boosted Blizzard. Hail also makes sandslash do a pretty decent Sonic the Hedgehog impression, and of course Iron Head deals great damage on this field. Flygon is here purely on the strength of her spread moves, and with the air balloon spam I could even use Earthquake a few times, which would be useful against Mawile. However, I ended up just burning Maw down with steel stab instead.
Thanks for asking!

Attention deficit disorder can really be a pure hell to deal with! I can testify it

Seems like it was just yesterday that Temtem was only in beta, now it finally got released.
Can Dialga like, do its thing and slow down time?

I'm late night thinking again...
SpoilerSo... Salem can't be killed. She's immortal. But what if you removed her head from her shoulders? Would it be Floating Head Salem? Would her body or head shut down? Would it simply reattach?
-
I'm pretty sure her immortality is ressurective: anytime she would die, she respawns on the spot. So, as I understand it, if her head was cut off, she'd zap and come back immediately with a new head. Thus, the best option is IMO simply sealing her away somewhere, preventing her from acting without killing her.

Okay. I don't want to spoil anything about RWBY, but episode 11 is the best episode in the series thus far.

Mr. Piggles
Survived a Drill Run and defeated Esavalier with Hammer Arm
-
"I suffered this and so you should suffer it as well!"
You know what this logic is? Terrible, idiotic, hugely wrong, and yet somehow embedded in people as fact...
-
It's such a weird feeling towards the end of the Agate Circus arc when you start finding OU/UU-strength pokemon in the wild. Like, there's alolan vulpix just....hanging around Ametrine city. Best non-mega hail setter and only viable Aurora Veil user, just chillin out around town...same for finding Magnemite outside Calcenon, Lapras in Celestine Cascade, and Riolu (!!!) in a quest in Ametrine.

So I totally didn't binge all of The Witcher yesterday

So from Alolan Forms to Galarian Forms, who used Alolan Forms their 1st time playing through the games and who used (or are planning to when you get the games) Galarian Forms? For me, I used 1 Alolan Form Mon (Grimer/Muk) and for the Galarian Forms, I plan on having 2 on my main team. Not gonna spoil who they are though.
