I honestly don't know why Mechquest is so nostalgic to me. It's just a random, grindy ol' mecha rpg. But still....there's literally nothing else that uses mechas that appeals to me. It's all pvp shooters, either traditional like Titanfall or as glorified tank-battle games with purposefully clunky controls like Mechwarriors. MQ just has explosions, cool weapons/mechas, pve content, and lots of all three.
