  2. Right. Cower in fear at this marvelous (heh, geddit, cuz Marvel Sca--*shot*) ahem, at this marvelous beast, terrible and yet beautiful, regal as the Queen of the Sea, Mega Milotic! It's only eminently sensible for Milotic to get a Fairy type Mega, if Gyarados gets a Dark one. I'm sick of the stereotype that almost all Fairies have to be cute or dollish, though. Look at Xerneas! It's regal and slightly scary, not sickening like Whimsicott or Clefable or what have you. And Mega Gardevoir is enough proof that fairies can look dignified. (Not including ugly things like Granbull and Armoatisse.) And yes, I'm aware that Mega Milotic looks like a Dragon typing would fit, and I'm also aware that it gets Dragon type moves and no significant Fairy ones, but I don't see it as a draconic being, even were it not to be a counterpart to Gyarados. So, biology: Mega Milotic is royal, with wavy veil-like fins and a pointed crest. It develops elongated wing-like fins, much like Gyarados, along its flanks, which are used both as display and when manoeuvring underwater. The scales that cover its body enlarge irregularly and envelop its entire torso, up until the neck (though it's difficult to judge where the neck ends and the body begins for a serpentine Pokemon...) and they acquire a hard, opaque texture, as if they were cut of smooth stone. That's because, as a natural progression from Marvel Scale, Mega Milotic has the ability Multiscale. Fear it. Base stats: 95/60/79/100/125/81 MEGA stats: 95/70/109/130/155/81 Mirrors (heh, geddit, because Mirror Coa--*shot again*) ahem, it mirrors Mega Gyarados's stats, just as the base forms mirror each other's. But that bulk, with Multiscale, an eminently excellent typing in Water/Fairy, AND Access to Recover? Oh god. It gets the most annoying move of all time in Scald, and it makes good (or evil) use of it. It also gets Moonblast, as it should have in the first place. And it can make an exceptional defensive use of Rest, Sleep Talk and dual STAB, or even use Dragon Tail for shuffling. And you thought Toxic would get rid of it. It's not unbreakable, though. Things like Kyurem-B and fast electric or poison types do a number on it, and Ferrothorn and Amoonguss and Celebi, among other Grass types, are its bane unless it runs HP Fire, which only does significant damage to Ferrothorn and comes at the cost of valuable coverage. Multiscale is also broken easily by hazards, weather, or prior damage, especially since Milotic is not that fast and can't hold Leftovers, and it also hasn't any ways to boost its speed. It also hasn't got access to any boosting moves per se, unlike Gyarados, and I feel bad for it, so I'm being sadistic and giving it Calm Mind. Yeah. Now suffer. It still won't break OU, however. It's not impossible to get past, and it's checkable by various things depending on its moves. Taunt is also a major impediment to the defensive sets. And there it is. Until later!

  4. PUPPY! PUPPY! PUPPY! PUPPY! PUPPY! PUPPY! Ahem, anyways..er...right. The Definite Sleep ability seems excellent, since the koala can't be paralysed, burnt or poisoned, seemingly. We have to see if it prevents confusion and infatuation as well, but it'll have RestTalk for sure, then (bit counter-intuitive since rest already cures all statuses...if it gets Slack Off it'll be excellent) Also, PUPPY!

  6. Dear me, can't get away without being tempted to post... In any case, I stand by Steel, followed by Water and Psychic. If you get to know me, you'll know why, but here's a casual glance: Steel is to me the most superior type, both competitively and by virtue of embodying certain qualities that I view to be the mark of good character: Loyalty, willpower, moral uprightness, unshakability and an unyielding rigidity in thought, action and discipline. Such attributes I seek to see in myself, and that is likely already well known here. I am a believer of moderation; any one attribute, overarched, offers but a blinkered and limited scope. Water, then, is the flexibility, transparence, clarity and calm that tempers the harsh nature of Steel. Together, the combination is fluid and yet substantive, brilliant and yet understated, kind and yet firm. Steel, in turn, grants permanence and solidity to Water, countering its inherent indecision and capricious nature: the swift shifts from a dank, limpid pool to a rushing, raging rapid is prevented, and a graceful balance is achieved. By now you'd see that I'm of a philosophical turn of mind. I also base my assertions with logic and reason; I do not just say "I love steels cuz they're awesome" (even though that's true); I have a definite sequence of thought that gives a backbone to all my actions. This is where Psychic comes in: The elements of creativity, temperance, logic, mental acuity and analysis- these are the attributes of the Psychic type that I seek in myself. I tend to have a preference for alien, inorganic, mechanical or otherwise non-bionic Pokémon, such as Metagross, Deoxys, Starmie, Magnezone, Porygon-Z, and so on. I draw a parallel with the idea of unconventional life forms, especially such as these, which to me are the manifestation of advanced intelligence and pure thought without the encumbrances of emotional or sentimental appeals. Consequently, I also like the abilities Analytic, Download, Technician and so on. These also fit well with my rather rarefied, dry demeanour, and reflect a piece of my personality that has already become apparent to many. And there is your answer.
  7. Innovative. I'd advise against knock off on Lando-T; run stone edge instead to hit birds and things better and reduce the pressure on Rotom. This is especially true since your Rotom is not PhysDef and so is not a very good check to birds on its own. Knock Off can be better on Azumarill over superpower, since heatran already exists to rid you of Ferrothorn. Being choice locked into superpower is also an idea I am not comfortable with. Trapper heatran is something I have not seen in a while. It may work, but I am not too sure. It definitely works admirably in checking fairies, though. Gengar is still an issue. Be careful with Volcanion and specs keldeo, you don't have any reliable switch-ins since your Latias didn't have Roost. HW is nice, but Roosy might be better since you have a status absorber for everything bar sleep already. Pinsir can use Feint instead of QA. weaker, but goes before other priorities like a tflame or a dnite apart from breaking protect. It may make some difference after an SD.
  8. To test for piranhas in the bath-water. What are you doing here when you should be studying?
  9. Actually it's his parents' 'fault', if fault it was. Poor Bibs had no say in being brought into this world. Also: [21:58] +Sir Tempest: Tit rations were the worst
  10. I don't watch anime. I've never even heard of this Jojo thingy. As for Weenie's question, sigh...maybe sometime later. I'm not obliged to answer it now because it isn't the immediately prior question, mind you! What makes you like rap? I have always found it rather unintelligible (as well as a tad crude if it contains unsavoury language, which in my limited experience I have found to be plentiful in the samples I have heard...)
  11. What's in an opinion? That which we call an excuse for a lame Shakespearean reference is just as hilarious in any other context!

  12. The topic said animals, not inanimate objects. Else I'd just want every single Pokémon to be a steel and/or psychic cyborg/robot/alien/mech. But we have quite a lot of those already, as well as other inanimate objects. How about an actual kangaroo or wallaby? Kangaskhan doesn't count. Also, a sphenodon would be cool as a pseudo-fossil mon (like relicanth) since they are living fossils, after all. We could also use a Stegosaurus and a Baryonix as fossils.
  13. I guess know the plot because I indirectly came up with the idea but I will tell you, the side-choosing is very serious!
  14. Golduck looks more like a platypus than an actual duck, to be fair.
  15. A Magnezone, a Metagross and a Porygon-Z all float into a bar...

  16. I'm amazed, and also slightly flattered. I'm glad to have been able to be of help in the conception. I look forward to it eagerly! also you slipped a PZ into it early I like that very much now do Mag kappa
  17. I abhor the human voice in song. I am a keen critic of classical and Carnatic, Hindustani and western orchestral and chamber music, and I can reasonably appreciate instrumental jazz before the introduction of electric instruments (another convention that I can't fully fathom), but the moment a voice enters the scene and sings something, it is almost as if I become tone deaf, for all song disinterests me. There's a long story behind that, nevrmind. I'll ask the same question of you again, just to see another view.
  18. I protest. Micky didn't predict anyone. Ban him. Also, I was making puns when traveling, so at that precise moment I admit I had nothing else to do, weenie you stalker you. Show up!
  19. I'm worse. I'm a taxman. I was spontaneously generated out of a dynamo.
  20. This is a ludicrous question. Am I the type of person who would willingly continue a project if it were to be perceived as resulting in the incurring of a sustained loss? That's the beauty of rhetorics, anyways. I answer and also ask a question simultaneously, so I needn't ask another question.
  21. I have a confession: Even though it's horrible versus 'em, I half debated suggesting the use of Torterra versus Xiri just to see him explode in wrath.
