Nice. I remember Barkcroak: Mega Houndoom + Toxicroak in OU. That stuff should've seen more use tbh. And I always like slapping HP Ice on random mons, lol. Hp Ice Tangrowth, Hp Ice Yanmega, HP Ice Mienshao, etc. Lando-T is a less creative choice even for the HP Ice, I agree, but it does its job. Heatran is annoying to this team imo. Especially since it has too much fun spamming lava Plume and your diancie doesn't even have epower. Rotom-W is not enough if you're facing any guy with a Heatran who's clever enough to wear the washing machine down. Maybe try focus miss or even Superpower on tornadus; unreliable (and Superpower is very weak with timid and whatnot but Heatran is usually spdef) but gets the job done especially since you have HP fire diancie to bait ferro. Or maybe try epower mdiance or anything more concrete really. A Lati is the easiest solution. If you're being innovative I don't see why you can't try mega Lati over mega diancie. Lati helps versus other Rotom-W as well, which is also annoying.

"Show me your best puns", he says. So you're asking me to post my entire life here. It won't fit. Also, there is a science behind puns. Unlike memes, which do not usually involve direct application of thought, and which can therefore be regurgitated in any context (or rather, out of all context), puns are alive. A pun has its own time and place to shine in, it is like a flower, exquisite in its radiance, a thing impermanent and for that reason all the more amazing. A pun, like a flower, if removed from the context on which it fleetingly blossoms, withers and loses charm. I cannot show you my best puns here, I cannot pluck them away from their own unique contextual wit. To experience the full beauty of puns, one must be there at the time when they are made, and one must know and appreciate the circumstances which gave it birth. To post puns here, out of their habitat and pressed into a dry list, would be like showing someone a pickled hummingbird in a jar and attempting to have them understand the beauty and grace it would have shown when it was alive and fluttering. A thread like this may do for posting 'top memes' or something, since memes are never so sophisticated or applicative, and have no contextual beauty (rather by nature a meme is something that can be spammed any time and anyhow) but for puns, it is but a compromise, a secondhand knowledge, and a robbery of the thing's true beauty. No, I say, come with me, journey with me, and I shall show you the true beauty of puns, as they are made and before they fade.

A pen is a pen is a pen. I specifically meant an instrument to write (or draw as the case may be) with, not a metaphorical channel of communication in a broad sense. The day writing is considered 'last century' by humanity as a whole is the day I embark for Mars, if I live to see such a time. I don't know for others (which is why I decided to ask y'all) but I've been brought up to never leave the house without a watch, a handkerchief, a pen and, if you have glasses, a cloth to wipe them with. The value of the pen, especially, was impressed upon me by my grandfather; not only is it a necessary part of one's attire in one's line as a professional (moreso for me as I am an accountant), but it is a mark of one's character as an educated human being. To be unable to sign one's name or to write when the need calls for it, and to have to hunt around for an instrument, was to him nothing less than disrespectful to the self. While my own views are less extreme, especially since it is (sadly) true that times have indeed changed, I agree with my grandfather's view of the pen as indispensable to a professional. I make sure to always have a pen on me; usually one of the collection he's passed on to me. (I'm partial to a slim, black Cross) The pen is to be respected. There's all the world of difference between a tool and an instrument.

For every problem ever, first ask yourself this: Does a Magnezone solve it? You'll find that the answers are always either 'yes' or 'it wasn't such an important issue anyway' Joking aside, Magnezone is perfect for a TR team. Fairly slow, especially with a negative nature, great power and a miraculous typing that resists almost everything in the game, and it learns its best moves via level without the need for TMs. Magnet Rise and Charge Beam only add to the utility, and while Sturdy can save you in a pinch, Analytic goes well to punish switches or boost your power outside of Trick Room. Bronzong is another noteworthy presence, with excellent resistances and access to several support options while retaining the ability to hit decently hard.

Technically this topic was already addressed in a previous thread (http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=22100) but sure, why not. I'm doing two courses at once: A college course in economics and stats for a degree and a Chartered Accountancy course for further professional qualification. The latter entails me working with a firm as an articled student (for now, until I finish my final exam in two years) where I am part of an audit and tax assessment team. This is my living for now, as a student, though I am not dependent on the stipend I receive there.
