Dhan, your wish is my command. You may as well return the favor and show up next.

Happy birthday; wishing you a great year ahead.

Hello and welcome to Reborn! Be sure to check out the server to let us know you better. And we all know that Lord Magnezone is the one true God, not some stupid llama pushed through a hula hoop.
-
TFW you have exams and you are posting some random stuff here.

I can't exactly remember when, but I do remember feeling every day as if I've done that particular day's drafting or cost record already. It's annoying because it's all almost the same.

Mmm? No one else contributed anything since my last post, so don't hand out warning points for a double post, OK? OK. This time, I recommend Frederick Forsyth's iconic 'The Day of the Jackal' as my suggestion. Forsyth is a master of the 'thriller' and his entire series ought to be a staple in any library which contains an Action or Thriller section. Review: The Day of the Jackal (set in 1963) is the gripping story of the struggle to catch a remorseless assassin, hired by the OAS to kill Charles de Gaulle, the then President of France, before it is too late. This is the book that skyrocketed Forsyth's name; it's simply in a class by itself. Of course, one reading this must bear in mind that this classic Thriller is set in the 1960s. Had the same story been written today, the plot would've failed in ten minutes with today's technology and resources. Those interested in more Forsyth should read The Avenger and it's sequel, The Cobra. This is set in 2010, so it Incorporates today's world much better, but they're all equally excellent as a read.

Your least favourite plot cliche in gaming.

Mmh. I always wonder why these things always have to have a villain with a grandiose pla. To destroy or take over the world with an extremely elaborate plan and then they just vanish after being 'defeated' by the player. We ought to have more realistic bad people, who are more like the true villains of the world: corrupt officials, despotic politicians, megalomaniac business honchos, and so on. And they may have different goals: power (not the world nuking kind, but dominion over others) or wealth or some vice, idk. Then again, that's not really the premise of a fantasy game, is it? To real, perhaps, and not enough action. "Quick! To the Bat-Fax!" doesn't sound as thrilling, for instance. -
Hello and welcome to Reborn, Kessel. I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here.

Thanks, although I'm not sure if I can deliver anything else for a while. That last time I was seriously speaking as a member of AA (Artoholics Anonymous) And as for the Bird warning, burd is literally just a bird. Some people expressed an ornithophobic tendency, so I put a noticeable warning and/or joke to caution them about the presence and nature of the burd in question.- 257 replies

Get a Ferrothorn. You'll need it. And you can also finally evolve your magneton into the lord and saviour Magnezone!

Everyone makes a beginning. I suggest you spend some time researching movesets and strategies on Smogon.com. Be thorough with its Dex and all the viable (and non-viable) moves on the prominent Pokémon there, follow the Forums and try and grasp the basis of team building. Why tell you stuff when someone else has already done it better? There are certain textbook terms and concepts that an aspiring competitive battler needs to know, and Smogon is the best place to start learning. As for now, I can only say that AV is something you can simply slap on every Mon. I would be happy to elaborate, but I feel that it is not appropriate at this point of time; know however that team synergy is a must when building a team, and that you ought to decide what to use to win, why to use it and what it's flaws are, how to compensate for them with team members and what way to do so. These come with experience, don't worry, but only after a very solid theoretical understanding.

Sigh...this existed elsewhere as well. I remember saying that we don't need any more Superpowers. We already have the power of the mind, with which we, unlike other life forms, can master fate instead of letting the environment master us. We have intelligence, empathy, willpower and a conscience. Collectively, we have already demonstrated our strength and achieved impossibilities, including controlling the elements and even flight. When we can already achieve our dreams, what do we wish for? We wish only for instant satisfaction, plagued by greed, laziness and other evils of the mind. We just like fantasizing. But the same mind can overcome them, and actually do things to achieve those dreams. If one has to wish for a 'super'power, it's good to wish for the power to understand better. Understanding breeds empathy and makes the impossible possible. My question to the next person: Why do you want more powers than what you already have? What stops you from doing what you want to?

Congratulations! Even if was due to hax, beating a disadvantageous leader on a mono-run is quite difficult, especially when you do not have access to all the Pokémon that you eventually could gain. Keep it up.

Hello, and welcome back, Mike. I hope you enjoy your stay here.

You'd need a steel type. Why not Magnezone? Why not six Magnezones and be done with it? In all seriousness, though, Bisharp might be a better bet than Zoroark, as it has better power and physical bulk, Defiant, and gets good moves like Swords Dance and Iron Head; breeding can give it Sucker Punch too. Or you could wait till later and get yourself a Lucario. The best steel types you can get rather earlier in the game remain Magnemite and the klink family, however.
-
I already like you very much, because you too like steel, and because you are obviously a fellow devotee of the Lord Magnezone. I wish you all success on your run, even though that's pretty much guaranteed since you have the Magnet Lord on your side. And while I disagree with your opinion of Durant (after all, he's one of the few anatomically correct bug types, with six legs, antennae, mandibles and correctly segmented body parts) the real worst steel type is Wormadamn. All the best, and I'll keep track whenever I can!

Oh yeah, as promised earlier: The finished version of that earlier steel team. This is unfortunately the last thing I can do for now, but for what it's worth: WARNING: CONTAINS BURD (more vivid than before but still eh)- 257 replies

Why, that's not even bad! I like the expression in the eye, particularly. In fact, Eagles are my favourite animal by far. I hope you won't mind me offering advice, or think me arrogant for doing so, but I'd say that your focus should be on improving perspective and relative proportion of body parts. For instance, the head and face appear a tad small compared to the beak, which is very large and heavy-looking. I look forward to seeing much more from you!

Nah, he did it quite knowingly. I could have draw your attention to the fact that, as clearly stated in my signature, I am clad in steel and water, so your flames do jack to me, but you'd just cross over into the Pokéworld again and claim to use Mold Breaker EQ or Superpower (thereby making you a haxorus) and I honestly don't want to continue talking funny. So cheers to you, and see you later. Oh yeah, the person who is next is not me.

Also, do drop by the server chat to let us know you better. Although I won't be around much for a while, it's good to know you.

It's not fiction, it's fact. A chronicle of events as they truly took place. I think it should go under the History tab under Non-fiction.

Reborn has a very high shiny chance, so you'll be finding several shiniees even on a very casual run. For a guy like me who insists of breeding up an army of perfectly IV-ed and EV-ed mons even in Reborn, finding multiple shinies in every egg-hatching session is not uncommon, especially if you have found the shiny charm. Of course, I just dump most of the shinies into a trophy box, since many of them have subpar IVs. However, my true trophies in Reborn are a Shiny Greninja, which I bred from my initial starter and which had five perfect or very near perfect IVs, and similarly a Shiny Heliolisk and a Shiny Delphox.

Last time I recommended 1930-40s Comedy. Now I recommended 1940s fact, and dead serious at that. I'm sure that most history books worldwide would mention the Normandy Landings of 1944. I believe it's important for as many people to learn world history as possible, the more and deeper the better, and this is a very significant part of it. Max Hastings's definitive book, 'Overlord', details how on June 6, 1944, American and British troops staged the greatest amphibious landing in history to begin Operation Overlord, the battle to liberate Europe from the scourge of the Third Reich. With gut-wrenching realism and immediacy, Hastings reveals the terrible human cost that this battle exacted, with many British and American infantry units suffering near 100 percent casualties during the course of that awful summer. Far from a gauzy romanticized remembrance, Hastings details a grueling ten week battle to overpower the superbly trained, geographically entrenched German Wehrmacht. This book is acclaimed as the definitive chronicle of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy.

Why, Spine, I didn't know you drew! These are pretty neat! I encourage you to show us more of your work, as well. And Zumi that monkey inspires memories of the unholy jigglypuff face...
