Nope, he'd like to be an invertebrate. Hukuna?
-
No, it is just me. I don't think I've had the felicity of knowing you yet, Zephyr, if I may call you so. I'm glad to make your acquaintance, if only by predicting you to post next, for now.
-
Soon. Spine?
-
This image is now branded in my mind. Why do you do this to me.
-
Nope, and Spine is already wrong. Happy birthday, and in case I missed it, welcome to the wonderful world of Taxes until you die!

Praise The Sun... and Moon - Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon

Scolipede isn't a butterfly in any sense though. It's a centipede. The closest thing we have to a badass butterfly right now is Volc, and that too is not a beginner butterfly but a very late game, almost pseudo-legend moth. And tbh, if we see a mosquito Pokémon I'm killing them without mercy. Better get your Repels too! (Bug/Poison may be generic but it suits it more with moves like Bug Bite, Poison Jab and maybe also Giga Drain) -
Happy birthday, Micky! Wish you a great year ahead. Also, welcome to adulthood. Here, have a cookie, and pay me my service tax!

"I, myself will carry you to the gates of Valhalla."

I was just kidding, relax! And yeah, I'll admit that Tyrantrum is workable. (In fact I myself used an Arcanine with a mere 20 attack IVs for a long time until I bred a new one.) But for now, my original team was Greninja, Noivern, Mamoswine, Roserade, Arcanine and, of course, Magnezone. I also frequently rotated Toxicroak and Gardevoir for most of the game. Of course, eventually I bred myself nearly every single competitively viable Mon, since I had nothing else to do until the next episode. EDIT: BEHOLD, My Trophy Box #1: BONUS: Ah, back then I had no life... -

Oh yeah, also. Hydreigon X Sylveon is a thing because Sylveon was the first Fairy-ass to see the light of ruinous day (hah, see what I did there) and the moment people realised what Fairy was SE against, they immediately paired Sylveon up with what was previously an OU terror, and which now became x4 weak to a screaming pink catdog. I guess they could've done Sylveon X Scrafty too, but it's less hilariously incongruous for a loose-pants-hoodlum-lizard to be paired with aforementioned domineering catdog than a monstrous Hydra. Actually, scratch that. I know what my next drawing is going to be.- 257 replies

Viridescent's Wandering Art Thread [Art: Drawing/Feedback]

I knew it was just a matter of time before you showed up. And yes, you're right about the heads, though it was deliberate. The actual head is sizeable enough, but the subheads (as I call them) are smaller, small enough to be the same size as its hands if it had any. The legs and tail seem in property position to me; it's actually hovering ('cause, you know, Levitate) so it isn't assuming a resting position with either of its legs on the floor. The tail might have thrown you off because of the row of scales on it; unlike a conventional Dragon/reptile which has a noticeable band of scutes running down its belly, Hydreigon has two such bands that run down either side of its vertical bisection; rather like two 'tank tracks'. So yeah, I did the best I could while keeping it similar enough to be recognizable. Anatomically speaking, those Wings should not be able to support flight, but eh, Hydreigon has six thin Wings which always looked more feathery than leathery, so a burd it had to be. Also I hate the fact that Hydrrigon's legs are atrophied and digitless, basically validating your point when you liken it to a balloon with too many heads and no actual limbs. So I took a liberty and added some functional, properly segmented legs, while still keeping the slight atrophy theme by leaving the toes and claws indistinguishable. And a reminder: Don't take my homes seriously; I honestly welcome your criticism and feedback.- 257 replies

What, you mean you won't do it...for the sake of...ETHICS? What is this...this WEAKNESS!? I didn't expect you to think that those pixelated bits of data have souls, or if they're really Timid or Sassy or have any personality really. It's just a label affixed to nothing more than a statistical attribute, and change it we must for a more favourable output. Well, whatever. Now that you've told me you're flatly against any improvement even remotely competitive, I just lost all interest. (Sobs) Enjoy your play through with your ethically raised cripples and cretins, I'll just go over here and torment another fetus cat clone until it becomes the perfect genetic being and hope that it won't massacre its creators again... -
Your least favourite plot cliche in gaming.

Still doesn't stop us from barging into poeple's houses, rummaging through trash cans and picking up random items, often clearly in other people's homes, in every Pokémon game ever. -
Mmh, I liked her Ghost Fight remix. The first one she made. I didn't quite like the Toriel one because it doesn't quite fit based Goatmom in my -opinion-. This Spider Dance one seems kinda rushed though, to be frank. It's OK, but mmh...something doesn't seem complete. I do hope she remixes Death by Glamour next. Anecdote: There was this one time I played Death by Glamour too loudly, with heaphones. You could say I was Deaf by Glamour.

Exactly. Bwldum also has one of the lowest catch rates in the game, and the only move it ever knows until it evolves is Take Down. The best bet in general is to use a Ghost type Pokemon against it. Ideally, you should be able to whittle it down to low HP, send in your Ghost type, put it to sleep with Hypnosis or paralyze it with TWave, and then spam balls. Dusk balls work best, else Ultra and Nest balls if there is a big level gap as mentioned above. The fact that you caught it in 5 balls is simply your luck. I soft reset 30 or so times on top of that to get one with good IVs.

Rats. I was gonna mess with you more. Oh well. And yes, a properly raised Ground or Dragon type, especially one with a SE move, should be fine against Charlotte. That Heatproof Bronzong I told you of can get Rain Dance as well as Trick Room, js, and is also slower enough to use Gyro Ball well inside of TR. To be frank, I just used my Greninja, Noivern and Mamoswine to finish her off. It was mostly just the latter two with Dpulse and EQ though. Perfectly bred and raised Jolly Mamoswine is able to outspeed almost everything and kill with EQ. -
Not much of a gamer. Definitely never bothered with game rips. So I can say I'm indifferent. Q: Are you happy with your life? If not, why not?

Don't let the thread die! Aagh, quick, someone do something! I reserve...um...ah...Pride and Prejudice. I'll write something about it later.

Hey, don't diss good ol' Barneysaurus! It just likes to derp while it sets up DDs and demolishes teams with Outrage and Espeed.

Actually, a well played Aegislash should decimate all ice types that don't call themselves Mamoswine or a very well played Weavile, for which you have a Rotom-W and Mach Punch Infernape, two textbook checks respectively (another reason why having Priority Mach Punch is KEY. Erase Fake Out, please!) I don't think you need to fear ice types so much, with mixed Ape, Aegislash and Rotom-W. Half your team destroys them! I suggested a fat Ground type because the team needs one, and Nidoking is not exactly bulky. Alternately, Hydreigon can run myriad coverage moves instead of tailwind: Flash Cannon lets it do something to Fairy and Ice types, Fire Blast and Earth Power have excellent coverage, and Superpower can surprise a Blissey, Porygon2, other dark types or some other specially defensive mon while still retaining coverage on steels. Tailwind might help you in doubles maybe, but none of your team is going to need it particularly, since Aegislash works better if it is slower than its opponent, and Infernape is fast enough anyway. If you are really concerned about fairies so much, nothing like a good steel type to bash their faces in. I was going to suggest Cobalion but I just remembered you can't use legendaries, even if they are poopy UU legends, right? In that case, Bulky SD Scizor is your best bet. Keeps up momentum with U-Turn, as I said, can destroy Fairy and Ice types with Bullet Punch, and has an easy time setting up with SD+Roost. Go for the standard spread on Smogon, maybe with more SpDef so you can tank the odd Ice Beam or Moonblast better. This also allows you to use a more physdef Gliscor, which can deal with Mold Breaker Excadrill (SD Sand Rush, not so much, but you have Rotom for that) If you must, losing Ape is not irreparable, since Scizor has much stronger Priority and also checks Weavile. Just add Flamethrower to Clefable over Thunder Wave, and Fire Blast on Hydreigon, and try and fit SR on another member. Clefable can actually be turned into a good SR setter and Wish Passer/cleric; Check out the Smogon set for that if you want. Unaware may also be of some use to ignore set up sweepers.

All right then, what do we talk about? Ooh, I have an idea! Here's a theory: There's a good chance Gen7 is based off a tropical island like Hawaii, or perhaps Singapore. In any case, Hawaii is famous for having many carnivorous caterpillars, the only place I know of in the world where the things prey on other insects, mostly mosquitoes and flies, instead of chewing leaves. Does this mean we are going to have the most badass beginner butterfly of all time? -
Well, only if shite mons exist can there be something to occupy the bottom of the food chain. Dunsparce should feel proud to sustain all the mons above it; a healthy population of dunsparce, cherrim, luvdisc and ledian is essential to quench Mega Scizor's and Mega Metagross's thirst for blood :] Although, when I was a wee little lad, I always thought dunsparce evolved into gligar, since they sit next to each other in the Dex.

I revel in the blood of hundreds of woobats, noibats, rattatas, meowths, magcargos, unowns and ekanses as I butcher them and their families for those EVs. That's all the entertainment I need.

Five days, it has been, since I last put pencil to paper for anything other than accounts. Granted, I deal in figures, but even I can't go five days without the other kind of figures! Exams or no exams, I had to draw, if only for my peace of mind, so here I am again, for now and halloween is probably going to kid me to death. Anyway, not too much for now, just simple lineart of our beloved Hydra of Lernea. Maybe I'll turn this into a full sketch in a few days, when I have an easier exam that I don't really need to study much for, or when I can't stand this art-abstinence anymore.- 257 replies
