  1. Damn, I've been caught out. Guess I can't be too lazy anymore I mean, what- In all seriousness, I highly appreciate your inputs, Halloween, and I'm glad you made them. As for the scizor, there isn't much I can do now; I deliberately went for the fractured light sources because I didn't like the look of it otherwise (what a lame excuse, I know) and I see what you mean with the jaw, though, I'll keep that in mind. [and as for the literal breastplate - who says Scizor is genderless? ] There you've caught me. In fact, you've caught me at my worst. Yes, I fully concede that I made several flaws in the Latios, and I recognize them myself. I agree with you about the shoulders, wings and general neck area; In fact, I drew that in college, when a lecturer absented himself and I had nothing to do for an hour. Of course, it's nothing more than a casual doodle, to be very frank, and I understand my anatomical laziness with the torso; I'll fix that when I finish the thing properly. (hell, I shouldn't even have posted it here knowing how much I disagreed with it myself.) In any case, point noted. I'll take more time to draw lineart too, but I won't be lazy with any of them. After about a month or two, I can start devoting more effort to this stuff, so then I can actually put my fullest into what I do, instead of the bit-and-piece way I'm doing it now. Thanks very much for the links, btw, they're very interesting. Fear not, I'll dish out more anatomically correct stuff in the future. Also, props to your friend, his work is great!
  2. Thanks very much, Xiri; I greatly appreciate your support. And of course, I'd be glad to draw an ice type for you...in fact, I know just the thing~ I'll ask you to give me time, though. I'm mostly only posting things that I've already made here; creating new things is not very plausible right now because I can't devote the time to do them justice. That's why I said that I would accept requests for serious art after a month or so. But if you're content with lineart, I can dish something up sooner. I do have an idea for you though, which I promise to implement after my exams are done.
  3. What have I done? What...I mean...what...is this, even? Someone help me. Please tell me what I have done here. EDIT: Also, please do feel free to comment, criticize or otherwise share your opinions about anything I create. Any inputs or constructive criticism you may have to offer will help increase the field of my perspective.
  4. Hello, welcome to Reborn! I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay here. Hop on to the server to let us know you better!
  5. Thanks very much, guys, it means a lot to me. Anyway, Frappy asked me to do something with Lopunny and Diggersby, and since I dislike the way their designs are stereotyped, I came up with this one after finding some inspiration using my Google-fu skills [it's not explicit or anything don't worry] And Dhan, props to you if you got it. Even if I pointed it out to you anyway.
  6. Give one to Jynx. The thing got a pre-evo along with magmar and electabuzz but didn't get an evolution. Quilfish is also a likely candidate; could turn into something that resembled a sentient depth charger or mine.
  7. Talking of fading away from threads... Micky?
  8. More lineart, featuring dragon types. This was done some considerable while ago, especially the second one, but seeing as I don't have the time to draw something fresh for now, I'll share these. More to come soon!
  9. TIL that there's an exoplanet somehwere that is entirely carbon; it's essentially got a molten carbonic core, a thick crust of graphite (aka pencil stuff) and in between, a solid 2/3 mantle of diamond. That's right, it's a planet of diamond. I shudder to imagine the impact it'll have on our economy if we could even bring a sackful of its stuff back. (Though it being several light-years away negates that possibility...)
  10. Thanks very much, Steffo. More lineart shall be up later in the day today!
  11. Depends. I use teams purely in a competitive light, so naturally an HO team won't be expected to take hits, while a balanced or BO archetype will. (I loathe how stall has become these days.) I seem to like using Hippowdon. Sand is one of my preferred archetypes, and is easy to build around. Hippowdon is also garguantuan, and with the right spread can eat hits from many powerful threats in OU, especially since it has access to recovery in Slack Off. It also ably supports the team with Stealth Rock and phazing. Mega Scizor can also act as a bulky offensive stalwart, with greater raw overall bulk than Skarmory, Roost and a slow set-up with Swords Dance.
  12. It's an amusing pastime. Naturally it was fascinating when I discovered it as a child, and I decided to retain an attachment to it later in life as it isrelatively harmless to maintain as an idle interest.
  13. TFW you find a random Skarmory staring into an equally random Empoleon's eyes...

  15. *casually uses a beaver trap and removes Bibs* Right. I have no desire to be king of this ruddy hill. Leave it vacant.
  16. Why, thanks, Red. I'm glad you like them. I'll be sure to come up with more stuff in the coming week!
  17. Tch. How morbid. Anyway, I will assume that the next person passes away peacefully after a full life of several decades, in which they have had the chance to accomplish all of their goals in accordance with their situations. Therefore, here is what I think should be the last thing they see:
  18. That's good to know. And thank you, I appreciate your support. The scizor is one of my more serious works, but seeing as I am strapped for time at the moment, I'm afraid most of the following will be either past works, or lineart.
  19. Ha. All your hopes are mere delusions. The Dome shall prevail as the only truth! Hail lord Kabutops! Although, yes, that's the way it is. Those infidels won't give you your amaura or tyrunt fossil unless you have only that inferior Helix fossil. They're not worthy of our Lord Dome's presence. For future reference, they need a farfetch'd, a pidgeot and finally a Helix themselves; each time they will offer you a choice between amaura and tyrunt and you can repeat this thrice for three fossils.
  20. I'm running the risk of being hauled over the coals for double-posting, but here is some lineart that might placate the modgods and let this slide for once, since this kind of thing doesn't really fit in if I were to edit my previous post: I will turn these into coloured illustrations sometime in the future, if I don't have any fresh ideas at hand. But there's nothing like good ol' lineart for a few laughs. And yes, Losty, they both have hats. Problem?
  21. I'll interpret this differently. All of you have noses and olfactory senses, so all of you can smell scents. One of you is definitely less sensitive to smells that the others, possibly because of a cold or sinusitis. So, whoever has a cold, probably smells 'worst', that is, least effectively.
  22. I'm glad that this is receiving support. I'll be sure to post regularly, as and when I come up with something. Like I said, I should be able to establish a schedule for this pretty soon.
