I'll comment on the few starters that I have tried or feel safe talking about. Venusaur I don't see why you would pick for your starter ever considering you get it at the same time you get Torkoal which is pretty early in the game. Charizard seems really good when you build around it. -- For Typhlosion see Charizard. If you want to use Feraligatr, get it when you can surf. If you're looking for a ground type, it seems like you missed it but earlier you had the chance to get swinub while you were at blacksteeple. Though honestly, I was using Dugtrio more often then Swinub/Piloswine. I would pick up a Torkoal. You can get one somewhere in the Safari Zone by smashing rocks tho its a 6% chance so save before smashing the rocks. Also I believe one of the rewards for the help quest is a Bulbasaur egg. I read like the last 2 pages and saw things about balance. Isn't most of the major fights in this game mostly doubles? Like it feels like its mostly doubles > singles and mons like gyarados/volcarona don't do as well in that environment no?

As expected my top 3 were the characters i submitted in the popularity poll (that or I submitted venam instead of aeltia maybe? I don't remember I feel like I submitted venam but i don't remember /shrug) Saki is just the best. Aelita always gives me the warm fuzzy feelings when I am playing the game and they show up. Its always like "wow thats my friend i wish i had friends like her she's great" and then Reina would probably be Melia if this was a bit ago but I've warmed up to Reina a lot they're actually like rly cool. Also their scenes with Huey are great I love them.

this is one of the few games i never got around to playing. what does the game do well that makes it worth playing? I might wanna try it out if its appealing to me.

Abandoning the status thread for a dev blog is definitely the right play. Now I don't have to dig through a thread to find updates on the game while being forced to be read questionable things posted by people that I don't care about.

Xp Share all on in this game actually feels really good in this game due to mons not being able to go above level cap. Playing through the game is fine but its not going to do the trick from getting a mon from 1 to level cap in a timely fashion. Thats where XP candies come in.

my favorite is when the devs tell us that they don't intend to make the game a dating sim for the 50th time because people don't know how to listen
