During this while, we've had a multitude of governments: one by the central-socialist party, which is pretty much one half of the modern greek politics' status quo, one temporary government by both great parties with the prime minister being a non-politician, a former head of the Bank of Greece, then a three-party government with whatever survived from the central-socialist party and headed by its other status-quo half, the right-populist party, from June 2012 to Jan2015. And latest, a two-party government headed by the party that rose from 3% to winning the elections in a few years, a left-populist party. Especially the newer leftist party and the older right party have had different opinions on the fiscal matters and of course different rhetorics. However, with the policies being pretty much imposed and forced upon the country from outside institutions, all the rhetorics in the end of the day can go: the results are pretty much the same, and it gets worse and worse every time. Draw whatever conclussion you want about rhetorics in the political arena.

I didn't word it well, it was pretty late, but I believe that for some of the biggest issues in politics you have to go radical or miss a historic opportunity to pick the right direction or correct flaws of the past. The small-scale things like the bathroom and the gun control are, well, small-scale in comparison to the example I gave you, where the conservative "return to the pre-war status quo" approach let the accomplices of the german occupation forces came on top after the end of said occupation, which resulted to a civil war from 1944 to 1949, a split in both the political scene and society, a very dysfunctional political scene influenced by the "state within the state" and a military dictatorship in a european, natoic country that started in god damn 1967!!! Man, it's nice to live in a country so strong that your biggest issues are where some people should take a piss and if you should continue to shoot each other like dummies or not. And if you think that I'm insensitive about the trans issues, what I want to say is that the issue at hand is so childishly simple to solve...

Anyway, there are three broad categories of political issues, simply speaking: Administrational-managing issues, well, being moderate or extreme, in the end of the day is inconsequential: what matters is how you manage the damn thing to go well. Minor issues: here cometh the shitstorm of politics. The bathroom thing is THE PERFECT EXAMPLE: Draw everything to the extreme and make a huge issue out of which door a citizen should walk through to take a piss. My stance on these matters? Shove it down their throats if need be, I don't care, we're not gonna waste time and effort discussing the basics just to top each other and rally our fanatics and create debate and make asses out of everyone involved. Larger issues: I believe there are right and wrong solutions to these. The gun control and the healthcare in America are great examples. But hell, let's continue to ignore logic, numbers, case studies, basic principles of democracy and the welfare state, examples from other countries, etc. The last one, and most important of these categories of issues... is the larger, more crucial desicions. In which I believe that, whereas a moderate solution works best in parliamentary democracy for the bulk of the other issues, sometimes, for larger problem, strong desicions must be made and enforced. And a solution that tries to be moderate and consential more often than not does not solve big pathologies of a state. To give a historical example: when Greece was evacuated by the german troops in the winter of 1944, the British and Americans brought back the king on the throne and recruited the troops that had worked together with the nazi occupation troops against the communist freedom fighters. The result was a) a civil war that lasted 5 years and left the country both in ruin and divided between the left and the right, many of the worst elements of the country never being purged away (like the nazi supporters in, well, most of the rest of Europe) but rather coming out on the fucking top, which c) led them in positions of power, both politically and in the army. This created a "state within the state" of far-right elements that kept society and politics derailed and divided. Where did it end up? To a military junta from 1967 to 1974, which pretty much acted as a puppet for the local CIA branch. There were numerous moments where political parties could have fought against the "state within the state" or purged the army, but between their lack of dare, the objections of the Palace (fuck you Queen Consort Friederike) and the tendency of these mechanisms to remain alive, they failed. Sometimes radical solutions are required.

I'm a lousily late replier. I know. Beryl is the first pre-Flash location, followed by the corridor in the Peridot Factory and the Wasteland Tunnels. And the location of Flash itself. The thing is, your line of thought is perfect for HMs that open roadblocks. The E15 Waterfall hype and the E16 Rock Climb hype are real things, and great things too. The problem is that Flash doesn't create roadblocks. More like tedius bump-bump-bumpy walks. And the content in Beryl is hardly post-Yureyu worthy. And of course, it's easily reachable, especially if you've done it once. It's just...annoying. There can't be any HM Flash hype with the current mechanics. Only if you went with the Gen1-2 caves mechanics that were pitch black. Personally I think the worst part is the dark part of the Railnet, where we have to bump our way just to get the machine with the move.

This is THE HYPE. The one thing that Se7en is all about, in the end of the day, are the fakemon. E1 had an understandably small variety of catchable species, and seeing that E2 brings all of this quality is HUGE NEWS for me at least. Can't wait. It will also motivate me to start a new run, since I'll know that my array of options will be far more wide than the current one. And this brings me to a question that I've been postponing for when E2 would be itching closer: Will we get some kind of team showcase thread? That's a two-sided question. Is, as per Cook Corp. development team policy, such a thread desirable and allowed, considering that you've been adamant about the whole "discover it all yourselves"? As I'm ready to enter the Beryl Cave after defeating Shelly and getting Rock Smash, I'll have to walk and blindly bump myself through the path to the other side. And I'm DYING to bump my way through. On topic: I haven't played BW, won't ever play them, but: the monkeys have earned my extreme dislike.
