  1. Thank you for explaining that! As Ikaru said, I thought the different wording implied a different result. Sorry for the pestering, my bad. And thanks to you as well, you nailed exactly what made me misunderstand. I was used on seing that additional everywhere. It turns out that the new field with some lucky rolls can rek Bennett in Iolia. We lose the certain 4x rock damage on his flying bugs, but we have 50% chances on hitting the 4x against his Venomoth and Dustox, hitting the additional Psychic or Fire. There are enough natural Sunny Day users at this point of the game.
  2. Ok, propably Luna won't bother with Sunny Day. But I can see Bennett kicking off with a Sunny Day with his Larvesta, and have Masquerain come off the bench with Rain Dance. Again, I'm not afraid of the field. The wheel of fortune and "level it down like Common Candy" are more for the sake of fun and pun. What I find questionable is that the Rock type gets completely canceled this time. It's not a "Ground attacks fail" on a Water Surface, that makes perfect sense, it's not "Type X deals mixed type damage". It gets completely thrown away, and if you think about it, crystals are still crustals,
  3. Welcome to the brand! new! Wheeeeeeel! OF FORTUNE!!! Against Bennett!! Rock attacks enter the wheel of fortune and have 25% chance of being SE, 25% chance to be double NVE, and 50% chance to deal normal damage! Against Lunas Jubjub Bird!!! It's 25% ineffective, 25% NVE, and 50% to do normal damage. Let's spin the wheel and find out!!! (There goes my Nasty Plot + Power Gem plan for Persian) (Honestly, that's borderline hax. It completely makes rock attacks redundant, and it's not like it's the most populat type ever. At least, with the other fields, we know what we get) (Camerupt, EQ th

It's super effective! Vullaby lost 61.5% of its health!

It dealth the exact same amount of damage with and without the crit, and the guy complains...

  4. Is King's Rock Cinccino in RU a cardinal sin? Same about Cirtus Clawitzer.

  5. Wanna know what's OP? Titania on the Water Surface. Ground attacks fail, Fire attacks get weak. If we go underwater, Fire attacks fail, physical attacks get weak. And there are 2 special Fighting attacks we have access to, learned by a staggering 4 'mons we have access to.
  6. I thought that E15 alone would bring in 6 new fields. And it kinda adds up. Murkwater, the 2 mountain fields, Serra, and then maybe one new for the gym leader in this EP, and maybe one Ice Cave so we can't do all that stupid "melt and dive" inside the mountain caves. If that's stupid on the mountain slopes, as Ame said, I guess it is for the mountain caves as well. Ice cave: Rock attacks deal Ice damage Ground hitting airborne targets Ice, Rock and Sound attacks boosted EQ and Magnitude collapse the cave Fly and Bounce last one turn Flying and Fire attacks get weakened, Scald as well
  7. I gave all the Solarischomp EXP to a Pokemon I'll prolly never use again. I want a refound from my stupid self.

Shuppett. I can't use Mega Banette in the future cause I'm on a sub-480 BST run, and I thought it would be good at least for Radomous, but then realised that Protean Kecleon or Persian will be so much better.

  8. Does the Mountain field mean that Blakes team may get updated? His Walrein gonna hate that Thunder.
  9. Ok, what about the 2, later 4 bozos in the SE corner of the Grand Hall?

Nothing, they don't ever do anything. I mean, you can talk to them, but that's it, at least for now.

  10. I really want to see the leaders in Reborn getting a tad more difficult.

    1. Shing

      Shing

eh bit agree, but people would complain and say nerf it, too overpowered.

The only leader i want to get boosted is Julia.

I wish it was easy to implement difficulty modes midway. And I was thinking more about the likes of Aya, who is kinda underleveled, or Luna, who is practically defenseless. Also, Samsons Conkeldurr should get Smack Down. That thing is ridiculusly easy to beat.

  11. Ok, is there any audio editing program that is sipmle and easy to use both vertically and horizontally? Argh.

  12. Reborn drinking game: a shot every time Victoria goes for the NVE instead of the SE move in the doubles with her.

Victoria gets the cookie though, especially if you try to grind in Pyrous.

  13. I just wanna partially ragequit from some university class tasks.

  14. That's Charlotte after the nerf. Definately after the nerf. And actually, she wasn't that difficult to begin with, other than Rotom the Immortal. And then that Delphox.
  15. Like, all the awesome lines got cut in 14.6? Kikis dead and zero, Cains "use protection", what else?

  16. Do I remembercorrectly seeing a grant.doklan in one of the showdown videos posted these days?

  17. Is there perhaps any hidden Ability Capsule between Shade and Azurine Island?

    1. BreezyPonie

      BreezyPonie

There is one in a rock in North Obsidia ward, and another in Ametrine Mountain by Shade's gym. You need Rock Smash to get inside, but once you do just head to your right and you'll find it.

I know these two, I got em both.

  18. Is there any thread which explains how the moves that do different type damage in a field work?

    1. Odybld

      Odybld

I have studied the fields long enough :P The thing I don't understand is how is weakness and resistance applied when a move takes an additional type in a field. For example, in my latest run I tried a Muddy Water against Shades Gollett in the short-circuit field, where it "deals additional electric-type damage" to see how it worked. It was compeletely immune. I also wonder how it works if one type is SE and another is resisted, if the type added to the move receives STAB and so on...

      Raindrop Valkyrie

I imagine it works much like Flying Press does, hopefully you know what that move is XD

  19. It's practically a recombination of old field effect clauses, so we'll get used to it easily. I'm most of all waiting for the Pasarela field or Living Room field or Blue Carpet field Serra's going to get. ...is that very certain Dragalge a very certain Pokemon we have fought before?
  20. Well, you don't have any Pokemon that learn it by level up... Go to the Move Relearner and teach Drapion Toxic Spikes and Poison Fang. Once you bring down Nidoking, use it to lay 2 layers of Toxic Spikes. That should badly poison Rawrchomp. Or, if she brings it out direclty after Nidoking, send Drapion and go on with the kamikaze mission: pray the odds swing to your favor and use Poison Fang to badly poison it. 30% chance, not too shabby. ...or go back to Ametrine, catch a Vanillish, level it up and go to the relearner to teach it Freeze-Dry. 4x damage to both Rawrchomp and Swagsire.
  21. Go to the vendor in the Circus who tells you the Hidden Power type of your Pokemon. If any has Ice, teach it HP and pray it will do the trick. The much safer way is a good Ice type, but you'll have to grind it. And maybe the safest bet against that thing is Toxic. Also, mine a Moon Stone, evolve Clefairy and give it Metronome. In Terra's field, it chooses attacks of min 70 base power.
  22. Noel's Clefable has Softboiled, Cosmic Power, Moonblast and what else? Hidden Power Ground if I remember correctly?
  23. I'm actually thinking of starting a sub 480 BaseStatTotal run in Reborn. Bird Jesus being the strongest usable. Amen.

    1. Flynn

      Flynn

Bird Jesus is fantastic with Tailwind/Feather Dance/Roost. Crippled a physical attacker and allows another ally in to set up safely. *How I beat SolarisChomp*

  24. Ok, I have beaten Radomous, gone to 7th Street, beaten the granma and enemy gang leader to get the weather TMs. I know from my first playthrough that I meet Bennett, but I can't find him and no talking to NPCs, running around, visiting the two small caves and going to the watering hole does the trick of fetching him. Any idea? Edit: I found him, I got him, problem solved.
