  1. I've completed all the way up to Episode 18
  2. I already completed the gang sidequests so i'm locked out of Litten, and I did the Popolio sidequest where Oshawott originally was. And I cannot for the life of me find a pidove for pokedex/Type: Null
  3. I'll get to training up the Excadrill and Hippowdon sometime today. I think I have a magical seed sitting in my inventory, so ill give that to infernape so he can KO a few things on her team before he goes down. I'm mostly looking to try and take out Sandslash, Excadrill, and Scizor hopefully. If someone could direct me to an EV/IV guide so I can optimize my mons, I would be very thankful. For now i'm gonna grind out some money for items, capsules, and shards.
  4. Yes, but how would I deal with it if they have a free protect and buff coming out of the gate? Use the turn to buff with an item or something?
  5. Caught a HIppowdon and Excadrill. Excadrill had Sand Force, Hippowdon had Sand Stream. I'll train them up tomorrow, although I only have 1 ability capsule so I can't make Sand Force into Sand Rush. How do I get more? It was from 7th street right, so how do I get back to 7th street Post-Restoration? I never got the mudkip because I didn't go looking for it I suppose, although it would probably be a good addition to the reserve. Another question. How do I deal with Excadrill and Aegislash getting a free Attack Boost+King's Shield via their items?
  6. In the past I've been able to muscle my way through boss fights with some effort and an ace mon, but Titania has presented a brick wall with her team. All of them are tanky as all get out, are boosted by the field, and hit like trucks. What is a strategy or team of mons that would be good for fighting her? Current team: PC: I'm sure I need to change my team up because a majority of them are screwed over by the field, steel ground, or some combination there of. Titania's pokemon are way too tanky for me to beat down, so what pokemon would be recommended to take into this fight?
  7. Because I have a heavily balanced team for the most part, most gym leaders don't give me much trouble. However, Charlotte probably gave me the most issues. As at the time I didn't really have anything other than a flygon and vaporeon to fight her. My strategy became to KO and first pokemons fast and get out her rotom, switch into vaporeon and start spamming surf so that all the pokemon had garbage accuracy. Then I switched to my flygon, gave her 2 X-attacks and an X-speed. And started spamming earthquake until all but Rotom died. The second pokemon basically became a healing bot for flygon. I was fairly ill-equipped for her, but I managed to cheese a victory by abusing her field. At the time I had: Infernape, Flygon, Vaporeon, Leavanny, Luxray, Gardevoir As for the rest, I usually had a pokemon that was strong enough to one shot the gym leader's mons. Or I would just use decoys until I could buff the strongest mon I had with items so it could. My cheese:
  8. So far nothing has forced me to switch up my main 6 that much except for Adrienn, and even then I beat Adrienn when Metagross was lvl 60. Metagross ended up replacing Leavanny in the end as one of my main 6 because he's got way more bulk. Main Team: Reserve/in training
  9. I had it mostly in case I needed the HM again. It seems I don't need rock smash anymore so... I guess i'll switch it out for mach punch.
  10. How would I obtain an Excadrill during this episode? Is it still a wild encounter in Tanzan? I was thinking of kind of interchanging some of my mons. Luxray - Replace with magnezone Flygon - Interchangeable with Goodra, depends on if I need a bulkier mon. Or I could take out Flygon for Goodra, replace Metagross with Magnezone, and Mamo/Exca with Luxray? Infernape, Greninja, and Gardevoir are pretty much team staples. I'm mainly trying to avoid having 2 slow steel types on my team at once.
  11. Updated, could still use some suggestions. I have a Goodra in reserves in case flygon stops cutting it for me, and i'm heavily considering replacing my Mac-truck Luxray for a Magnezone
  12. Beat Adrienn's face in, and changed up the team. I have received a much stronger water type courtesy of LeonVermillion. Could still use some suggestions. My current line up: Infernape - Adamant lvl 80 (Iron Fist) Rock Smash Close Combat Flare Blitz Thunder Punch Flygon - Lonely lvl 80 (Levitate) Earthquake Fly Dragon Claw Rock Slide Gardevoir - Modest lvl 78 (Telepathy) Psychic Moonblast Calm Mind Shadow Ball Luxray - Lonely lvl 78 (Intimidate) Spark Wild Charge Strength Crunch Metagross - Jolly lvl 73 (Clear Body) Meteor Mash Bullet Punch Zen Headbutt Brick Break Greninja - Modest lvl 75 (Protean) Dark Pulse Hidden Power(Steel) Surf Icy Wind -------------------------------- Reserves: Leavanny - Adamant lvl 74 (Chlorophyll) Swords Dance Cut Leaf Blade X-Scissor Vaporeon - Lax lvl 75 (Hydration) Dive Waterfall Surf Hydro Pump Goodra - Adamant lvl 72 (Sap Sipper) Fire Punch Outrage Power Whip Bulldoze -------------------------------- Ideas... Croagunk: While I already have a fighting type on my team, this one is my only poison type so far, and I have a severe lacking of poison anything, mostly because i've always had other things to take on what Poison beats. Magnemite: I cannot remember for the life of me where you catch and evolve one at, but Maggy would definitely cover two of my more lackluster bases, that being my slower than dirt Luxray(Hits like a mac-truck though) and my lack of steel types. I was thinking he could replace my Luxray. As far as limits go. I'd prefer things that can be caught in Episode 16, I'm not overly worried about perfect IV training and the like. Are there any types I should stick into my rotation? What pokemon that are available should replace the ones on my main team? I would prefer to maybe have faster pokemon (I want to give my infernape a hasty nature.) Or pokemon that do the same job as what I have, but better.
  13. My vote goes to Aya. She's got a decently bulky team. And punishes you hard for overly relying on a ground type, and encourages you to go out and train a psychic type. That's what she did to me anyways.
  14. OOooooooh. Okay. Thanks, looks good~. I couldn't really tell what it was because it was hidden by Gardevoir, whoops.
  15. Keep at least a semi-balanced team. It doesn't have to be differently typed pokemon (mono runs laugh at this) , But keeping a diverse typing in moves can help in a pinch. And don't just rely on one pokemon to sweep a gym, chances are the leader has something to kill it.
  16. Thanks a ton~ Although what's the red thing extending from Infernape's arm? A sash or something?
  17. Backpacker from B/W or Kuro from Reborn. Infernape Gardevoir Flygon Luxray Leavanny Lapras
  18. The final battle with Aster and Eclipse. They ganged up on Aya early so I had to 2v1 them somehow. I only managed to win thanks to earthquake on my Flygon
  19. My surface opinions on various characters mentioned: Fern: At first he was just annoying, then he became despicable, and now he's just... pathetic. After he joined meteor, I think losing to the PC so much has injured his pride so much, he's looking high and low for something to help him think he's the best. Apparently he's been trailblazing through the league, but the one person he can't beat is you. Titania: She's got the kind of personality that I just don't like. I liked the term 'edgelord'. I'm not sure what her whole backstory is, but I feel like I don't want to learn it at this point. She gets pissed at you for leaving her diaries lying around for anyone to read, and then demands you help her sort out her issues because it's somehow your fault(I hated the water treatment puzzle X_X). Just trying to get HMs and get my badges lady, jeez. Bennett: I don't like Bennett, simply because he's manipulated so easily. El plays him like a fiddle the whole time, he's got a disturbing obsession with Luna, and try's to prove he's better than you, or that's how I interpreted it. Sigmund: I have a softspot for the mad-scientist archetype, i'm not entirely sure why. But I didn't feel a sense of urgency when he took Heather, he's cold, calculating, and doesn't let morality get in the way of his choices. He's a good representation of the archetype. This is just a small gripe, but sometimes I hate the way depth compared to character is. It took me way to long on how to figure out certain puzzles because of the strange way distance and depth is portrayed in game. Victoria's original blandness and nuisance issues.
