Atk sweeper if I decide to not take Lucario.
  2. I suppose it's a toss up between Charlotte and Samson. Charlotte - I had my flygon spam EQ, but most of her pokes were faster, and Rotom would end up killing my flygon and slaughtering my team. Samson - I had no flying types to deal with him, and even with a gardevoir he always landed HIGH SCORER hits and over 9000s, which one shot my gardevoir, leaving me with a team not built to fight fighting types. Special mention goes to Serra with her tanky af Avalugg. And Terra with her Garchomp.
  3. Charlotte during my grass mono. Ludicolo is the only reason they made it to the next day, albeit with numerous burn marks.
  4. Well. We also, as the player, have the potential to steal a t.v from a public area. Break into people's homes. And inadvertently drove a man to suicide from our actions.
  5. I think the only time Fern actually learned from a loss was against Aya. With the whole mono-grass vs. poison thing
  6. Well, Fern tried to leave us to starve in that cage. Blake locked a 10 or younger old girl in a freezing shed on top of a freezing mountain and tried to starve the villagers. But I still hate Fern more just because he's such a bastard. He even claims to be on the 'winning team' even if you've gone the whole game without losing. Or the fact that you've handed him his own butt on multiple occasions.
  7. In regards to Garchomp, it's Dragon-type move is Dragon Rush, not dragon claw.
  8. Torchic and Chimchar make the game easy in pretty much all stages of the game. Both hit extremely hard, and both are fast. Torchic is def the faster of the two with it's HA, but I feel while Chimchar may be slower, Iron Fist let's it hit harder when it comes to mashing out close combat.
  9. Once you get HM strength, you can grab a Ralts. And what gender was Meowstic? Males are more defense based, and females are offensive. I would also suggest Luxray. It gets the VERY useful intimidate ability, albeit it is quite slow and squishy, it will hit like a train. My luxray from my first run was usually 4 levels below my primarily lonely/adamant team with attack IVs and always had higher attack than them. Luxray can pretty much get through the whole game with just spark, and be an HM slave for Strength and flash(Or rock smash if you need one). It also learns wild charge, which is the electric equivalent to take down, or flare blitz. Very strong pokemon, but is made of glass held together by band-aids.
  10. I swapped between my Flygon and Luxray with intimidate. Fully lowered it's attack power, I then threw out my (F) Meowstic and it begins to tank about all 40 of it's remaining PP until it starts struggling. After it starts struggling, switch in my Flygon and start mashing Dragon Claw. *I didn't even prepare for the fight by buying a bunch of items, I just spent all my money on ice cream when I saw it thinking it would come in handy at some point.*
  11. During the raid on the orphanage. Whenever you unlock the cages to free Noel, there is a child in one of the cages *I forget which* that will talk about stabbing things and the like. he'll then give you a rare candy. Also, i'll be happy to help with discerning gym leader movesets. As they tend to hit me with the moves they don't normally use. As I continue through my 2nd run, i'll make comparisons to your listed moves and what I see them use. And more on Julia's mons. Her voltorbs and Electrode all have Aftermath And all of her pokemon have Charge beam.
  12. For Gym Leader Julia, i'm pretty positive her Heloptile and Blitzle have Charge Beam, and her Emolga has Nuzzle
  13. I used an Intimidate Luxray, and then tanked all of it's remaining PP with my F Meowstic. It then struggled to death and I smacked it around with Flygon. (35 berry ice creams, 4 super potions, 2 choco ice creams)
  14. Saxton - Infernape (Starter) Suzu - Gardevoir (Corrupted Pokeball event) Judith - Flygon (Onyx ward casino) Lucia - Luxray (Onyx ward Casino) Cosmo - Leavanny (Jasper ward) Luck - Vaporeon (Obtained as an Eevee in Chrysolia Cave event)
  15. Hawlucha is really good against Samson. Especially with how it can use the field to it's advantage.
  16. I was really tired when I eventually picked the starter I was going to use. I was going to pick Turtwig, but I ended up getting Snivy. It happened to be Timid with Contrary... it was too good to pass up.
  17. Infernape+Iron Fist+Adamant+Close Combat+Black Belt+Lowering Arceus' defenses=Dead Arceus
  18. Now that I've finished my first run with this team, I wanted to go through again with perhaps less gambling.(Casino mons) And I wanted to ask you all on what starter I should go with this time. As i'm not confident enough to do a mono-run quite yet. I won't go through with Chimchar again however. SO what starter should I pick?
  19. Stoutland will probably carry you further than Glameow.
  20. If a Crustle is simply frozen in place, save, exit your game, and then toss some rage powder on it. It should attack you. And you can only jump on Crustle that have been pushed into one of the holes.
  21. So um. I'm currently at Blake's apartment, and while I figured out how to do the puzzle, one thing bugs me. If you refuse Blake's offer, how do you get Waterfall?
  22. Fire Emblem: if All my yes please Nintendo take my money
  23. Luxray. Training the thing up was exhausting due to it's terrible speed, but good lord that thing is 10 levels below the rest of my (Primarily physical team with Lonely/Adamant natures) and it's got insane amounts of attack power. I often forget this and become surprised when it one-shots things with Spark.
  24. I found that Leavanny can get you really far(And replace the freaking cut on that Greninja) Set up a sword dance or two and then Leaf Blade(Which it learns very early) and X-Scissor(Which it also learns very early) will kill everything in one hit. Also very good for sweeping Luna and Radomus.(I didn't even use X-Scissor for Radomus, just Leaf Blade)
  25. Alrighty, I beat Charlotte without much Issue. I started with Vaporeon and Leavanny as points. I got a rain dance off and sent in my flygon for Earthquake sweep. Thankfully my Flygon is extremely fast, so no energy balls or solarbeams for you~
