[IC] TTG Chapter 2: Lust
Komodojoe replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Strider vs. The Revenant Morgan barely had enough time to react to the incoming shockwave, causing her to instinctively shift her movement back toward the island that she had jumped off of a few seconds ago. She barely made the landing, but she made it, nonetheless. She was confused. For an SMO, The Revenant sure did take a bit of time to hang back. What was his game? Did he plan to stay back firing those off from a distance, or did he have something else in mind? Whatever it was, Morgan wasn't sure. But what she was sure of was that her opponent was quite some distance away, and she would be sure to punish that. Morgan switched to her railgun and fired a shot off. -

[IC] TTG Chapter 2: Lust

Strider vs. The Revenant Morgan found herself on a small island in the arena, much to her surprise. It almost seemed like a tropical paradise... either that or one of those deserted islands from those TV shows. Either way, the field itself seemed to fit her well. Each island seemed small enough to hold only one mech. If Morgan had a melee based mech, then there might be a problem. But she doesn't. She scanned the field, trying to memorize each and every island in the arena. Unfortunately for her, she somehow managed to catch a small glimpse of the crowd... and looked up to see everything. Literally. Everything. Morgan's entire face turned red as she shut her eyes, unable to get the image of several people, which were somewhere between half naked and completely naked, out of her head. That's definitely not going away anytime soon. She pounded her head a few times to try to clear her mind a bit... or maybe it was because she was actually idiotic enough for it to catch her eye in the first place. "...W-why in the hell did I look up." She asked herself. That was the biggest mistake that she'd made all day... and the match didn't even start yet. "I pray that image isn't etched into my brain... That'd be the worst." She sighed. "There's not much that I could do about it now, butt... dammit!" Yeah, this isn't going to be easy. Morgan took a deep breath as she tried to clear her mind. "Okay, Morgan... Let's just try to focus on the match." She finally faced her opponent, which was the very same man that she had met the night before, The Revenant. He's got the first seat and his mech was an SMO build... That's really all that was on the dossier. On the plus side, there really wasn't much that would keep him close and up to her face, but on the minus side, he took the first seat, which probably means that he could find a way around that disadvantage. Morgan then took a good look at what she was up against, using her glasses' lenses to zoom in for a better look... at the mech, at least. She didn't want to do that twice, especially when she's zoomed in this time. At first glance, The Revenant looked the same as a melee based mech, and then it emitted a bolt of lightning. From it's face, no less. Oh, Morgan was definitely going to enjoy the lightshow. With those sparks of lightning and the arena mostly covered in water, Strider's EAS would be spiked up in no time. Of course, Morgan shouldn't get overconfident, lest said overconfidence become her downfall like her last opponent. No. Even with the advantage, she had to be careful. Her opponent this time was in the first seat, after all. Ms. Belle checked to see if everything was running well, which it was. All thrusters jets were ready, all weapons were primed, and EAS was ready to go. All in all, everything was good. Morgan took a deep breath and closed her eyes. And when they opened, it was her other side looking through those glasses. Her arm-mounted machine guns were at the ready. "Let's get started, shall we?" She said it, directing her words to her opponent. Her comms weren't open, though, so The Revenant most likely didn't hear. Still, she knew she was ready for a fight. And a fight she'll get. Morgan started off by hopping over from island to island, firing her machine guns as she did so. -

Yea, that's something this forum does. If it was a post you can salavage it, jsut go back into the psoting window and scroll to the bottom of the textbox, you'll see something marked, "Last Saved Content ((time))" and next to it the words Restore Saved Content. Click that and you should be able to restore it. This will only work for crating new topics, or for posts. Sadly doesn't work for PMs.

Yeah, I'm lucky for that. Too bad it didn't save the last fifteen minutes or so, though. At least that part wasn't as important. Still, it's better than starting from scratch.

Morgan - Do nothing, Say nothing Morgan was a bit... thrown off to say the least. Sure, it's not surprising that the Third God, who ruled the Plane of Lust, would try to flirt with the girls, but the grand introduction was... well, she thought he was overdoing it a bit. She was a little weirded out by the whole thing. Actually, she's completely lost at this point. Anything and everything that she could think of just seemed like it could backfire on her somehow. The only things she could think of are either A: Do absolutely nothing and keep her mouth shut, or B: Suck it up and at least introduce herself. If it was anyone else, then option B might be easier on her. Unfortunately, it wasn't anyone else and she hates the idea altogether. Of course, that's why the "suck it up" part is there, but that really doesn't make things easier. Still, it's not the worst thing she could think of. All Morgan really has to hope for is for him to not try anything, regardless of whether it's serious or not. However, the chances of that happening are slim to none. How slim, you ask? Try a piece of paper. He is the God of Lust, after all. And the shy girl knows that she doesn't want that kind of attention. Like... at all. ...Option A it is, then. Morgan's gonna keep her mouth shut on this one! -

Figured as much, though I wasn't entirely sure what classified as something characterizing in terms of how one should act as their character should. I kinda thought it went into a gray area when she's supposed to be expressing concern. Anyways, thanks for clearing that up.- 317 replies

[IC] TTG Chapter 1: Sloth
Komodojoe replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Morgan ...Yeah, that wasn't the right question. Luckily, Morgan wasn't expecting much of an answer to begin with. The only thing that it really did was confirm what she already knew, and that doesn't really help. Well, at least she tried. And that's one small step to getting over her shyness... Too bad it's not her shyness that's the big problem, here. Still, regardless of her poor effort, Morgan's not exactly walking away empty handed. She did learn something new, after all. The Gods became Gods by "overcoming their humanity", or in another sense, achieving what should be humanly impossible. And at the same time, the Tenth God achieved what the other Gods thought to be impossible. With that kind of logic, that could only mean one of two possibilities, one of which is actually a pretty scary thought. Of course, it's just a thought. There's no way to tell if she's right at this point in time. There wasn't much else that she could do at the moment other than run this entire thing through her head one more time. Meanwhile, outside of Morgan's head, she's just standing around, not really paying attention to anything else going on, if there's anything else going on. While she is normally this quiet, one might notice that she seems distracted. -

Morgan- (Ask Black Idol a Question) Morgan had stayed mostly silent in this conversation, mostly because the rising tension was starting to make her nervous... again. That, and the fact that she didn't want to interrupt. That would be just plain rude. Still, this entire thing did enlighten a few things for her. From what the Black Idol made things sound, every God had become what they are now by overcoming what they were in one way or another. Maybe... "Maybe becoming a God wasn't too far off for my goal after all?" She thought to herself. "I mean, I still don't really care to become a God, but still..." She was left to her thoughts until she noticed a gap of silence in the conversation. She opened her mouth to ask a question relating to her own thoughts, but the shy girl stopped herself. She still felt too nervous to talk. Not to mention that this felt like an answer that she would have to find herself. Plus, she didn't think that there was any good way for anyone else to answer that question, seeing as it also sounded like the gods found their own way. That being said, there was one thing that Morgan was curious about. As far as she knew, there were originally supposed to be seven planes and seven gods at one time. So how did the eighth of each come into play? Where did they come from? What did the Tenth God do to change that? And more importantly, how did they make an eighth plane come into our existence at all? Was it there already or- ...One question at a time. She's not expecting a straight answer from any of these questions, but she thinks she knows where to start. Morgan took a deep breath and worked up as much courage as she could to actually speak up this time. "W-wait... so the Gods, in a sense, overcame what they once were to become a God, right? Soo... um... h-how exactly did the Tenth God become a God, let alone the ruler of his own plane?" Well, it's not the exact question that she wanted to ask, but it felt close enough to get the right answer... Maybe... Hopefully... ...Probably not. To be honest, she felt too unconfident to ask the right questions. -

Morgan Morgan was nearly entranced by the music, she could hardly contain herself. Everything else seemed to be blocked out to her during this time... aside from taking a few seconds to take a swig of her heavenly drink. ...Yep. This was indeed a paradise. No... more like Heaven. Of course, all good things must come to an end. She snapped back into reality as soon as the concert ended. And she, like everyone else, walked up to the stage to listen to what the Black Idol had to say. -

Morgan "W-Well, it definitely wasn't a pushover..." Morgan took a second to recall her match, once again feeling guilty about the whole thing. "I... I fought against Silent Requiem of all people. His mech was... different than a lot of the others that I've fought, but that didn't make it any less capable. He was in the third seat, after all. It was spherical in shape to fit it with it's SAD build and his Signature gave me a headache... quite literally, I might add. The match started out with both of us on equal footing, but I made a wrong move and got myself pinned for a minute there. I was on the defensive afterwards. He just kept coming and I ended up on the ground. Then, I'm not really sure if he was cocky or what, but I ended up turning the tables on him and won. All in all, it was a pretty close match." A few seconds went by before she spoke again, looking away as she did so. "To be honest, I thought that I was going to lose for a while there." Actually, looking back at her last match, Morgan realized that it could've turned out a lot worse than it did. For starters, she's damn lucky that the damage to the EAS didn't sever the connection to the Revenge Blast. Personality wise, there was the possibility that she could've lost her temper. In fact, had Silent Requiem kept taunting her like he was at the beginning, she very well would've done so. Then a multitude of things could've happened, none of which she would've liked, and many of which would've included jumping the gun on Revenge Blast at some point. Ms. Belle tried her best to take her mind off the whole thing. She looked back over to The Revenant, trying the one thing that she could think of to keep herself occupied. "W-what about you? How did your match go?" -

Morgan Morgan's heart nearly skipped a beat when the man started speaking to her, but she started to calm down when she began to notice the tone in his voice. There wasn't any anger, menace, or any kind of hostility whatsoever. Honestly, she thought that he couldn't have sounded more composed if he tried. She attempted to make a reply, but she found herself hesitant. "...Let's try that again." She thought. She tried again, but this time she decided to start with a smaller step. Rather than trying to talk right away, she started off by giving a simple nod, then she spoke. "Y-yeah, that's me." Morgan said. Not exactly the best of introductions, but at this point, she's just glad that she's starting to keep up a conversation. Morgan tried to remember who's voice that was. It's definitely not a girl's, so that scratches three people off the list. Nor is it Silent Requiem's. That just leaves three others. And if her memory served her right, she think's she knows who it is. "... And you're the one that's called..." She took about a second to remember the name. Her voice was a bit more calm than it was before, but she couldn't really keep eye contact at first. It was only after she started speaking that she noticed the odd coloration in his eyes. At first, she thought it was from the lighting in the room, but it still seemed too dim for that to be it. It was a bit difficult to tell at the moment. She decided to dismiss the thought for the moment to finish speaking. What was the name again? Oh yeah, that's right... "... You called yourself 'The Revenant' if I remember correctly?" -

Morgan Morgan, feeling another presence close by, glanced over to see another person taking a seat in the back row. The neighboring presence made her feel a little nervous, but it wasn't because he was there in the first place. It was because the room was too dim for her to identify the silhouette. Granted, Morgan knew that the unknown wasn't always a bad thing, but she never liked the off chance that it was. She slowly sank into her chair, trying to conceal herself for the moment. -

[IC] TTG Chapter 1: Sloth
Komodojoe replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Strider vs. Silent Requiem (Final) Morgan watched in surprise as she realized how effective the Revenge Blast turned out to be. She knew that it would be powerful with how many hits she took, but she didn't expect it to tear through all of that armor. Especially since Silent Requiem was an SAD build. Maybe it was weak to lasers or something. She thinks she's figuring out what just happened... Wait a minute... "Did... I just win?" She says, talking to herself. Her competitive side receding, Morgan gasps as her concern shifts from herself to her opponent as she finally realizes that she just blasted a huge, gaping hole in his armor. Was he alright? She hopes that she didn't just completely blast her opponent into oblivion, but there was no way to tell. "Well played, girl." Morgan hears over the intercom. "That was a close fight, I feel that one more good hit would have done you in, but you held out." She then saw Silent Requiem emerge from his own mech and walk off the field. Morgan had a mix of emotions right now. Relief, a small satisfaction from her competitive side, but she mostly felt guilty about this whole thing. He was... pretty cocky, so that had to have been an upset for him. Morgan waited for him to exit the arena before she got out of her mech and began to exit the arena herself, trying to hide her guilt as she did so. Morgan- Attend Black Idol's Concert (2 Points) Morgan stayed in her room for a little while longer, even after they had been permitted to move freely. Mainly because she still had a lot on her mind. She shook her head and finally began to walk towards the door, trying to figure out what she should even do. She wasn't hungry, so the food car was out of the question. She didn't have any questions for the Diviner, so that was another idea eliminated. The only other thing that she could think of was to go to the concert. Actually, that was probably the best idea she had all day. Maybe some music can help her take her mind off things... She approached the teleporter and punched in the coordinates to the performance car and waited a couple of seconds for it to process the command. Then she seemed to vanish into thin air as she was teleported to the performance car. Morgan found herself in a dimly lit room with a few rows of seats facing a small stage and a bar in the corner with various sodas set out for the audience. She wasn't really thirsty at all, but it would probably be a good idea to have a drink, anyway. Better to have something and not need it than to need something and not have it, as they say. She walked over to the bar and took a look at the numerous bottles sitting on the counter. Root Beer, Ginger Ale, Dr. Spark, MC Cola, etcetera, etcetera... nothing seemed all that interesting to her as she went down the line... and then she saw it. Chorno's Strawberry Paradise. "Oh. My. Gods..." Morgan said quietly. She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the heavenly drink and wiped her glasses with a cloth. It didn't really sell well where she lived, so it was rare for any store, let alone any person, in the vicinity to have it. For it to be here at all was a blessing. The strawberry-flavor addict put her glasses back on, gingerly took a bottle, and took a seat in the back row. With the best soda in the world in her hands and the music about to start, she was going to be in paradise. -

So, uh... Quick question: From what I read for the travel phase, we have two actions, but no limit on posts. How exactly does that work. I mean I could probably guess that It's just the two points that we have and not two per post. So are the unlimited posts just for when you're engaged in conversation or... Sorry for asking. I probably could answer this question myself, but I literally just woke up... so my mind's in a bit of a haze.- 317 replies

Strider vs Silent Requiem Despite Morgan being prepared for her opponent's signature, along with the headache that followed, she wasn't entirely prepared for what came after. The blades cut through shield and armor alike, which caused the mech's system to sound an alarm much different than the one before. Warning! Warning! EAS generator taking damage! The system repeated both the warning and the siren constantly. Morgan, still clutching her head from the headache, was a bit surprised by the alarm. While she knew it was a possibility, she was still caught off guard by the assault and started to shout out a system command. "System, activate the accel-" Morgan stopped abruptly as she remembered what happened last time. She didn't want to make the same mistake twice. "...Actually, scratch that." She looked over at the other screen again as she realized that she had taken numerous hits since the last time. She had plenty of energy to take the shot now. Of course, she needed to shake him off. Strider instead spun around, attempting to push him away with a backhand from her gauntlets. She then spoke a different command, one that she had been waiting for a while now. "System... Initiate Revenge Blast!" Command accepted... Initiating Revenge Blast... As soon as she spoke the command, the entirety of the green illumination that surrounded her mech seemed to converge into a cannon that slung over the right shoulder, which then pointed directly at Silent Requiem, ready to fire. -
