[IC] TTG Chapter 2: Lust
Komodojoe replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Morgan Morgan nearly jumped out of her seat when she heard a strange noise. Good thing she hadn't taken another bite just yet. She glanced over to see another one of the competitors... Slumbering Giant if she remembered the name right. Turns out that her stomach just growled, pretty loudly one might add. Morgan just now realized that she wasn't the only one in the room. The Giant's face turned red, then she glanced over at Morgan and somewhere else, most likely another competitor that Ms. Belle didn't notice, and then she ran over to the buffet table and grabbed... quite a few steaks. Afterwards, the Giant returned to the table, glanced at the two once again and began scarfing said steaks down. Weirdly enough, this did cheer Morgan up a bit. Not really because it was amusing to her. Well, it was in a sense. The embarrassment, the red face, the scrambling to get food to fix the problem. It really reminded Morgan of herself. The kind, shy side of herself... maybe minus the whole thing with shoving food down her gullet at the end. Still, it took her attention away from her own jealousy, and thus it took away the frown from her face. To be clear, though, she still wasn't really smiling. She just wasn't upset anymore. Anyway, so back to the Giant's whole "gorging of the steaks" scene. It didn't really bother Morgan per se, but she did feel a need to say something about it. If a simple growling stomach was enough to embarrass the Giant, then one's got to wonder what this whole scene would do to her once she realizes the situation she put herself in. Morgan, knowing herself, would probably be mortified if all the attention was brought to her. The shy girl opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. Thought it might be a bit rude to call someone out, even if it was obvious, and even if it was something as simple as improper table manners. Morgan's mind is now filled with a series of questions about what the hell she should even do. Morals are strange, sometimes. At this point, it was quite a wonder who would talk first... -

I honestly don't really know how Morgan should react TBH. That, and I was waiting for K_H to do something just in case he wanted to do something. I can think of something in the meantime. Just give me until later tonight or tomorrow morning and I'll have something up. Edit: How many times did I use "something" in the same post? Five times now? I probably could have worded that better.- 317 replies

[IC] TTG Chapter 2: Lust
Komodojoe replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
(OOC: Yeah... I guess I'm one of those people, huh? Actually... I think I'm the only one now. Apologies.) Morgan- Visit the food car Morgan didn't even want to budge. She felt miserable for letting her jealousy getting the better of her again. She always dreaded the moment that it would show, each and every time. The very thought of it happening frightens her. She doesn't want to hurt anyone, but this jealousy of hers makes it hard at times. Silver lining, it was only the mech that got beaten up this time. Still didn't really make her feel better, though. Fact of the matter was, it still took over and she was upset about it. The timid girl forced herself to get up from her bed and make her way to the teleporter, looking to get to the food car. She didn't feel all that hungry, but she already skipped one meal. Even as she is right now, there's no sense in letting yourself starve. She pressed the button, and disappeared from her room in the blink of an eye. Once there, Morgan slowly made her way toward the buffet and grabbed a decent portion of food, mostly vegetables with a small bit of seafood, and sat down at the nearest empty chair. She didn't even notice the other two in the room. Too much was bothering her at the moment. She just sat there, slowly picking away at her food as she tried to break away from her thoughts. -
Huh... didn't even think we could put in a second character. Looks like this is happening. Name: Joseph Boon/Bane: Spd/Mag Class: Lodestar (it's really Samurai, but you know how this works) Castle Address: Same as before. Just look at the first post. Edit: I'm also working on getting everyone and giving them their Tinted Glasses (this is really just for fun for me). If I missed anyone, let me know.
-
I can also throw in a couple characters for those who live outside the US if they want. Just say the word. Also, on another note, don't you really have to wait until chapter 8 to use the other Corrins since you're pretty much locked into having your Corrin and Felicia in the beginning of chapter 7? Edit: actually, that would explain why the max level for this is 11. Edit 2: Pyrr, I may have also visited your Castle and I might have dropped off a pair of tinted glasses. You may use them if you wish. This goes for anyone else, too. If a girl named Edith visits and drops off tinted glasses, it's probably me.
-
Pyrrhon, you're probably gonna be so glad I did this... Name: Edith Boon/Bane: Res/Str Unique Class: Troubadour Castle Address: 08883-94813-99280-90642 About that... I'm pretty sure that all save files on one 3ds share the same castle address and the one that's been the most recently updated is the one that you'll be visiting. Luckily, there's a way around it... of sorts. The clue is actually in the line above. All you really have to do is wait for Pyrrhon to recruit one character and then update the Castle with the other file so he can recruit the other. The only thing I'm not sure of is if you still have to wait the one day to visit the second Castle.

Oi vey. Apologies for the wait. I meant to have this out earlier, but... you know... internet problems. Here it is, though. Hopefully, everything's in order, but let me know if something isn't. Name: Donovan Kincaid Race: Human-based genetic experiment (Genetically altered human, mixed with DNA of a Salamander) Class: Experimental Bioweapon (Warrior) Primary Weapon: Mainly his more natural (if you can even classify it as 'natural') weapons, such as his claws and tail. Apparently, he can also breathe fire at his enemies, but he was never able to figure out how to use it. Backup Weapon: He also carries around two plasma pistols for when either A: He needs to attack from afar, or B: His other attacks can't seem to get the job done. Appearance: Standing at a tall 6'4, Donovan is still relatively humanoid in shape, but due to genetic experimentation, he obviously stands out from the rest. One of the first things anyone would notice is his tail, almost as long as the body itself. Said body is also covered in scales from neck to toe, the main exception being the front of the torso, where the scales only cover down to the collar bone, leaving only skin as it takes a more human form. This continues running down and under until it reaches the tail from below. The scales themselves are colored brown with a slight tint of red added. The head is probably one of the only things that still pass for being entirely human. He has red lizard-like eyes, short, brown hair, and brown facial hair should he ever decide to grow a beard or moustache, which won't be likely. While the scales do offer some protection, he wears an armless set of steel armor to protect the more exposed, fleshy part in the front, along with black pants, steel toed shoes, and one holster on each hip for his pistols. Personality Overview: Donovan tends to go with the flow, keeping calm and level-headed in case something ever hit the fan. Due to many people's... negative views and opinions towards him, he's a bit used to verbal insults and doesn't get offended easily. In fact, he's known for making witty comebacks when he can think of one. He can be friendly once you get to know him, and a few drinking buddies are more than welcome as well. He does, however, have his dislikes like everyone else. Mostly thanks to his... alterations, he doesn't like the cold. Other than that, He doesn't like interruptions, nor is he one for secrets unless they're within enough reason. He also loathes it when someone intentionally steps on his tail, or really just messes with it in general. But if there's one thing that he hates, it's not being paid for a job when it's done. Skill Level Overview: Backstory:

Oh, God. I'm torn. I've had a lot of memories with the Porygon line that dates back to the Gold and Silver era, and God knows how many of us had our fair share of trouble with Noel's. Electivire is great, too. Still have the one from Pokémon XD... you know, from when it was an Elekid. Cross Chop was too OP. Never really used Stoutland, though. So that could be interesting. ...But all things considered, I think I'll stick with Porygon for the nostalgia.

I'll say the same. I even showed off Morgan's jealous, angry side in this last post. To be honest, I actually wanted to get her angry earlier in the match to make it a chaotic clash of beasts, but I could find the right place to put it in. Still, I feel like this will suffice for now. Anyways, that was a fun match. I hope everyone else's is like this.- 317 replies

[IC] TTG Chapter 2: Lust
Komodojoe replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Strider vs. The Revenant Ragnarok cut through a large portion of the arm, leaving it nearly inoperable. The VI, realizing that it was pretty much gone anyways, began to redistribute the shields away from the arm just as the blade was making impact. Afterward, it tried to strengthen the shields around the generator once again, which didn't prove as successful as it had hoped, as the other arm still managed to pierce the armor. In retaliation, the VI distributed a large portion of the shields to the core itself, where The Revenant had been aiming for a good part of the match. Whether by miracle or otherwise, it had stopped the initial attack, but there was still a bit of damage done. On top of that, the electromagnetism began to create all sorts of mayhem in other parts of the mech. The VI was doing it's best to direct the overloading power to less vital areas around the mech. EAS core damaged! Connection to and from all jets and arms (for the machine guns, and the melee power can no longer be boosted) has been severed! Speed is now to 5 from 3. Firepower is now 2 from 0. Armor is now 5 from 7. Final statistics: Firepower is now 2. Speed is now 5. Armor is now 5. Emergency! Emergency! The VI spoke as it began to sound a dreadful alarm, various lights and screens beginning to flicker and go offline EAS generator armor has been compromised! Requesting immediate action! Morgan's eyes widened as she scanned the readings. The EAS core was damaged. Still operable, yes, but still damaged. The Revenant was definitely not going to stop there, however. She knew this for a fact, and was not going to go down without a fight. He had thrown Strider's own railgun shot back at her, he had knocked her around the arena, both in and out of the water, and now he was going to try to completely decimate her mech and win by domination... A complete. Fucking. Domination. An embarrassment by the likes of him in front of hundreds of thousands of people. Fucking showoff. Such an attempt at humiliation will not go unpunished. Morgan's jealousy-fueled anger began to rise, her eyes becoming bloodshot with rage, growling louder and more raucous with each passing second, hatred growing at the same time. ...And finally, she snapped. (OOC: Caps lock, please...) "ENOUGH!" Morgan roared, unknown to her if the comms were still online or not. Giving it everything she's got, she used the full power of both the jets and current power of the EAS to burst forward, keeping his laser cutter away from the core, swinging her good arm to try to bat away The Revenant's as she tried to gain some distance, not even caring of it landed or not. "YOU ARROGANT BASTARDS ARE ALL ALIKE, AREN'T YOU? YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN EVERYONE ELSE? YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT EVERYONE ELSE DOWN? FUCKING SHOWOFF. WELL THAT'S IT! I'VE HAD IT WITH YOU POMPOUS ASSHATS AND THIS SHARK-JUMPING BULLSHIT YOU CALL 'PRIDE'!" An all too familiar cannon slung over her shoulder as if on cue, once again glowing green as if it had absorbed the rest around the mech. If the comms were still online, it was probably apparent that Morgan had some sort of monster inside of her as well. A special lock-on screen, outfitted just for the occasion where she will unleash hell on her opponent, had met it's mark. "LET'S SEE YOU DEFLECT THIS!" Revenge Blast initiated. All EAS stats have returned to normal. EAS cooldown: 3 turns. (OOC: actually, scratch that line above...) One thought. One mental command was all that it took for the Revenge Blast to unload all of it's energy, unleashing every last bit of energy and rage out of one blast from the cannon. Whether it was because it had overloaded due to the damage from before or some other reason, the EAS generator exploded immediately afterward. The green laser speeding toward The Revenant with more intensity than the Railgun shot that he sent back to Morgan. The destruction and ruin waiting only for impact from the laser when it connects. -

Too true. The only part that really gets me is when it does it at the worst possible time. Like, when you're doing something that's really important.
-
Or something that you don't save so you have to start from scratch when it boots back up again. The list goes on.
-
It usually does it without me knowing until it actually happens, which is why it's so annoying. Seriously, if it can at least warn me about it, then I won't be nearly as salty about it.

[IC] TTG Chapter 2: Lust
Komodojoe replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Strider vs. The Revenant Morgan paused every sense of movement as she heard The Revenant's voice. It was as if he was a completely different person. While the voice itself sounded very similar, the tone was completely different. It sounded as if it was full of anger and hate. Actually, it sounded closer to being psychotic. Every other sense of being just seemed to be thrown right out the window, replaced by this... this monstrous berserker who wanted nothing more than bloodshed. This match no longer feels like a competitive duel, but a battle to the death. Morgan had to act, fast! She snapped back to reality less than a second later, speaking commands while she began to put in a last-ditch effort, one that might even be riskier than what she was doing now. At least, it seems that way since she never really thought about doing this. "...Switching control settings to advanced. System, put all of your processing power to the EAS. Do whatever you can to keep it up." Command accepted... Morgan's glasses lit up as they were filled up with numerous screens, symbols, and statistics. As of right now, she was in full control. Well, she was already in complete control, but this was a bit more direct. No warnings, no confirmation codes, no vocal commands. Everything was only at a thought's reach. Of course, first thing's first: there's absolutely no way that she's gonna be able to land a hit, not even with the shotgun. Too much is happening at once to tell exactly where he is at the moment. Lucky for her, she can still put it to good use. Attempting to transfer firepower to EAS shields, which is already activated. Points to transfer: 2. EAS stat changes: Firepower is now 0 from 2. Armor is now 7 from 6. Final statistics: Firepower is now 0. Speed is still 3. Armor is now 7. The shields powered up from the power transfer as the flurry of blows began to strike. On the upside, the enhanced shields will handle themselves better than a few seconds before, but on the downside, she didn't really have anything to fight back with once again. That, and Strider was still taking a lot of damage, which again, wasn't exactly a bad thing if she can retaliate. She is gaining a significant amount of energy from both Ragnarok and the intensity from the electromagnetic fields. Unfortunately, Morgan can also see that the core was nearing exposure from looking at the statistics. She noticed a small gap in the assault and put one of the mech's arms around the back, covering the heavily damaged EAS generator with it. Meanwhile, Strider's VI was both monitoring and directing the EAS shields with ease, distributing the shields where the pressure is the highest. Obviously, a large bit of it was covering the back where The Revenant was ruthlessly striking, the rest of it was being fixated on the electromagnetic fields, the VI attempting to resist the constant flow of magnetism in order to keep the pressure off of Morgan, who has quite enough on her plate as it is. Whatever the situation, the VI was going to change the shield's flow when and where it's needed the most. Merged the three posts - Murdoc -

[IC] TTG Chapter 2: Lust
Komodojoe replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Strider vs. The Revenant Morgan was a bit confused while she witnessed her opponent just standing there. A few of the bullets were hitting their mark, but the majority were still being redirected by the electromagnetism. While she was glad that a few were getting through, the entire thing seemed a bit... off to her. Why was the Revenant just standing there? Was he shocked that a few were hitting him in the first place? Was he preparing for something? Or was he just trying to intimidate her by trying to look superior to her? The latter angered her a little, but since there was no way to tell at the moment, she just continued with her assault. Still, that didn't really get her to shake the feeling that something was wrong here. "I don't like this..." Morgan was a bit suspicious about the whole thing. "System, cancel preparations for Energy pattern S. Instead, prepare for pattern C. Command accepted... preparations have been altered... awaiting final order. Not even a few seconds after she made the order, The Revenant seemed to illuminate in a red color, changing it's image completely. Morgan watched as the streaks of green went in every other fucking direction. She could no longer hit her target. Her opponent's energy levels rose with each passing second and she couldn't do a damn thing about it. And then, without warning, The Revenant dashed towards her, his maddening war cry flooding the Comms. "Dammit, dammit, dammit!" Morgan cursed as the opposing competitor sped towards her. She boosted towards the nearest island with all due haste. This was going to be a close one, she had to time this correctly. Otherwise, something could go very wrong. Actually, to be honest, something could go wrong either way. She still felt that she had to do this, though. Something about it just felt right. Strider was closing in on the island as her opponent was closing in on her. Steady... Almost there... and... "Now!" She yelled to her VI. Command accepted... EAS boost has ended. All stats returning to normal. EAS activated. EAS stat modifications: Firepower is now 2 from 6. Speed is now 3 from 5. Armor gained: 2 from Firepower, 1 from Speed. Total armor gained: 3. Armor is now 6 from 3. Final statistics: Firepower is now 2. Speed is now 3. Armor is now 6. Strider landed on the island with a thud as the EAS flared to life once again, making her mech illuminate a green color like it always had. She didn't have enough time to attack before her opponent landed a blow. While the EAS absorbed some of the damage, the rest of her opponent's attack got through far enough to carve a noticeable mark in the generator, causing her stagger forward, the alarms in her mech beginning to wail to indicate said damage. Warning! EAS Generator taking damage! "I know, I know!" Morgan growled. The Revenant knows. The EAS generator was her main key to victory as it was many times before, and he freaking knows it! If that gets taken out, the girl would have almost no chance of winning. "I've just gotta power through it." She thought to herself. She felt nervous. With the SMO going all out like he is, she was taking a serious gamble. If she can hold out long enough, then she could throw it all back at him with twice the force, but if she couldn't, then this match is probably as good as lost. She took a deep breath as she prepared for the assault. "I have to keep it running... No matter what happens, no matter what punishment I take, I have to keep it in working order... then he'll pay. I'll hit him with everything I've got... and everything he's got." -

Komodojoe replied to Shamitako's topic in Unofficial Official RP Club's General
Strider vs The Revenant Morgan was climbing the pillar as fast as the mech could currently take her. Literally shanking her way back to the top, she was climbing higher and higher, closer and closer. Almost there... The rocky pillar seemed to explode from above her as the projectile crashed through it with ease, causing everything to fall down from above with a small shockwave following... all of which made her lose her grip and plummet with the debris. She found herself at the bottom of the pool again, this time with the remains of the pillar-like island that she attempted to scale. She growled, beginning to get aggravated. "This isn't working..." Morgan was once again looking back up at the surface. The only way to get back up on dry land seemed to be to drop the EAS and boost up there. Then again, she didn't have to drop the energy that she's accumulated with it, though she should probably use it. But the question here wasn't when, but how. She could use Revenge Blast, but she'd rather not. It would probably be better to use it with more energy. There was another option, however... she spoke a different command to the system. Her brain began to formulate a plan. "System..." She was skeptical about these next words. "Deactivate EAS and reroute energy to the jets and weapons. We're taking this fight back topside." Command accepted... EAS deactivated. All stats back to normal. EAS energy used will be distributed to Speed and Firepower. Speed gained: 1. Speed is now 6 from 5. Firepower gained: 2. Firepower is now 8 from 6. All stat boosts will last for two turns. "Also, after the energy's depleted, prepare the EAS again. This time, with energy pattern S." Warning! The following energy pattern may place you in a disadvantage in close-range combat. Do you still wish to proceed? "...Yes." Command accepted... this system will await the confirmation code to activate when EAS energy is depleted. "Good." With the discussion (however one-sided it was) being over and done with, Strider starts zipping through the water with renowned vigor and reinforced speed, hesitating to rise back to the surface at first. Judging from the direction from the projectile, she knew the general area of where The Revenant was. Morgan headed toward said direction and rose from underneath the depths of the blue. She wasn't too far off from her target, but she wasn't too close, either. She sped across the water to circle around her opponent while keeping her distance. She rose her machine guns once again and opened fire, unleashing streaks of green as the bullets were engulfed with energy from the EAS and fired away one after the other. With any luck, the energy will help dampen the effects of the electromagnetism that the SMO controlled so the bullets can actually make contact. -

Strider vs The Revenant Strider was pushed back, albeit not as much as she probably should've under normal circumstances, but it was enough to push her into the water, sinking into the blue instantly. Upon reaching the bottom, Morgan found herself looking directly up to the water's surface, or more specifically, the island that she was just standing on a moment ago. "Well, this isn't good." She said. She knew that she'd made a mistake. "I can't really move since EAS is activated either... Maybe I should-" The Mech's VI then cut in. Upon request, basic movement was not to be included in power conversion to EAS unless specifically directed to do so by default. "Oh, yeah." Morgan was used to directing specific systems to power conversion, so "all of them" usually meant everything. Of course, she changed that once it got her seriously cornered. Afterwards, basic movement was set to power conversion only when directly mentioned to do so. That was a long while ago, however, and she completely forgot about it. Lucky for her, the entire thing became relevant. Now she had two choices: wait for The Revenant to come to her, or to keep the fight on the surface. Either one seemed possible, but she probably shouldn't wait. The results of that can be... less than satisfactory. "Okay, so... let's get back to the surface." She said. Although, that was easier said than done. The pillars of earth were... actually quite steep, so just walking back up probably wasn't an option. Then an idea hit her: those pillars had to be tougher than sand to hold itself up like that. The girl straightened her hands out like she was playing a game of rock-paper-scissors, jumped as high in the water as she possibly could, and shanked the pillars to get her hands, and part of her feet, to stick inside the structure. And much to her surprise, it was a success. "Ha! It worked!" Morgan spoke loudly in triumph. "Now let's get back up there..." She sighed. "...That sounded a lot worse than intended. Thank the Gods no one else heard that..." Her face turned red again, realizing how bad it could've been since the crowd was mainly from the Plane of Lust, where nudity and sexual innuendos are most likely smiled upon everywhere. She shook the thought out of her head and changed her focus back to the fight. Following a similar method to the one she had just used, she started to climb back up to the surface, picking up a thick cloud of dust around her as she did so. -

Strider vs. The Revenant Morgan watched as the projectile accelerated towards her opponent, a small grin on her face as she did so. What happened next took her by surprise. The round stopped a few inches from The Revenant's hand... and just stayed there. The girl then realized that she had just made a big mistake, realizing that the bolt of lightning from before wasn't just electricity. What caused it must've been some sort of tesla field, and that only meant one thing: electromagnetism. The match just started and Morgan already underestimated her opponent. "Ah, dammit. System..." She spoke, frustrated with herself for doing the one thing that she didn't want to. "...Activate the EAS." Clarification needed... please select- Morgan witnessed the round pointing back at her. "All of them!" Command accepted... EAS stat modifications: Firepower is now 0 from 6. Speed is now 1 from 5. (Note: armor gained is the sum of firepower and speed divided by two, rounding down.) Armor gained: 3 from firepower, 2 from speed. Total gain: 5. Armor is now 8 from 3. Final statistics: Firepower is now 0. Speed is now 1. Armor is now 8. (OOC: Also note that armor gained this way does not allow for the 6-point armor bonus. I'm not really sure if it can, but I doubt it. I really don't like the idea of it regardless.) Strider took the hit head on and staggered back from the shot, catching herself at the edge of the island. While she was recovering, Morgan looked at the energy screen that had just popped up and was a bit astonished. If these numbers were correct, then an unshielded hit from that could've crippled her chances of winning, or it could've taken out something vital at the very least. Morgan sighed as she realized that she had made two mistakes back to back. Now she can't really fight back save for fisticuffs. Having no other choice, she put the railgun away. She hated resorting to these fists for the main portion of combat. Not only did they do almost nothing, she really wasn't much of a "hand-to-hand combat" kinda girl. Granted, her jealousy had driven her to punch a few people in the face, but there wasn't much beyond that. She wasn't completely defenseless range wise, though. Her EAS was made to soak up hits. She just can't shoot with anything for the moment. Morgan put up her fists, not realizing that half of a foot was in the water. If she was pushed any further, then she would probably be knocked off the island to sink in the deep blue. -
