    This wouldn't change anything difficulty wise with your modifications, but for the next reupload, something I'm working on is revamping the shiny Honedge line. When this is done, Kayla's Aegislash will be shiny, and nickname will be changed to Annie. 

    Kayla's Pokemon are nicknamed after characters from the fighting game Skullgirls. Annie didn't win the vote to become a playable character but she is canon and popular, and Honedge line will have colors of her outfit, hair, and sword. 

     

    When the reupload is done/change is made would you be willing to update your trainers.txt file with this change? 

     

    I wanted to revamp the shiny Honedge line because I realized around a week ago while in the Battlers folder that shiny Aegislash has blood markings on it, which I thought was way too dark for atmosphere in Spork. I thought it was maybe a shiny copied over from Reborn, since Essentials doesn't have any Gen 6 Pokemon sprites, but looking in E18 folder shiny Honedge line is different, so maybe they were changed in Reborn too. 

     

    Either way, as said it wouldn't change anything with difficulty, but was wondering if you'd be okay with updating it once the change was made. This is the only change made to trainer battles for the next reupload. 

     

    Also, I did look at some trainers in your document and was impressed at all the changes; a lot of thought was put into it!

    Oh, and I’ll attempt to combine two maps into one regarding the intersection between Aliora City and Classic Park.

    Changed Lilligant's nickname to Lily in the league battle; I might have mixed up Lana and Lily since they both start with L. And thanks @ offering to connect them on the map!

    And second, I was thinking if adding teleport panels on a building between Aliora City and Classic Park makes sense since by looking at the Town Map, the location between Aliora City (first part) and Classic Park (second part) are drastically apart from each other.

    The map is completely accurate! About Aliora City and Classic Park on the map, they are connected through the gatehouse, the reason they're in different places on the map is because I couldn't fit Classic Park above Aliora City there since Aliora Meadow was already above it.

    I'm happy it worked!

     

    Just the map should be needed this time; I edited the waterfall events to transfer the player to the bridges above the waterfalls (for the first two) and the area where Mesprit is (for the top waterfall), so you'll be on land this time.

    I was able to Surf after landing on one of the white tiles. The only thing I can think of is that maybe I needed to give you the tileset I updated too? I think this is my first time uploading files for fixing something like this, and I wasn't sure whether I needed to give you just the map or both the map and tileset, so I tried just the map first to see if that was all that was needed. Here's the tileset data; this also goes in the Data folder. If this doesn't work for you I could reupload the game, but hopefully it'll work since I wasn't ready to reupload yet; there were a few other changes I wanted to make and the fact that this issue was discovered when it would have normally been maybe a week or two before I was ready to reupload again (if this doesn't work) is giving me anxiety;;;

    I just set the white tiles at the bottom of the waterfall as passable, and after that I was able to surf by interacting with the water tiles south of the white part of the waterfall. Here's the edited map; this goes in the Data folder. Are you able to move after downloading this?

    I'm letting my Pokemon learn moves by leveling them up before I give them evolutionary stones.

    I opened the pokemon.txt and compared Skitty's learnset to Bulbapedia and it seems that in Spork Skitty only learns levelup moves up to level 28; will fix for the next reupload.

     

    (also there's a bug reporting thread for reporting bugs)

     

    EDIT: @alan28 I've fixed Skitty and Delcatty's levelup learnsets; if you need them now rather than waiting for the next reupload here's the pokemon.txt file; in the game folder, place this in the PBS folder and say yes when asked to replace. Also, I forgot to mention but outside of this case where Skitty and Delcatty's levelup learnsets were incomplete, you don't need to wait to use evolution stones because I gave stone evos the same levelup moves as their pre-evolutions

    After downloading from the download link, extract the files and go into the extracted folder. Double click the "Game" file with the orange icon and the game will open.

     

    Also the game is for PC; it isn't a ROM hack so it doesn't work on emulators or mobile. I'm not sure what device you're using but I mentioned that because a lot of people who mention downloads for fangames not working are trying to run them on an emulator.

    -added new category to Data Vault for E4 and former Gym Leaders: the names of their badges when they were a Gym Leader (also Sushi mentions hers would be the Dream Badge if she ever chooses to accept Psychic Gym Leader successor to Isabelle during the Ashley/Flame Plate sidequest)

    -updated dialogue for Emily at the Astral Observatory during the Lunala scene and Crystal Caverns when ICSW is explaining Mega Evolution; conditional branches for if the player chose Alola or Kalos respectively when asked where they were from by Jim 

    -added read option for ICSW's dream journal 

    -during the double battles vs Angela and Natalie and Kayla and Ashley, Emily's Tyrantrum now has Rock Slide instead of Earthquake

    -fixed being able to walk through a wall tile at the journal room in Lanturn Lighthouse

    -selecting Shiny option for Diancie at Shiny Scouting now gives shiny Diancie instead of shiny Celebi
    -Meda is no longer still in the audience while also battling her at the Sea Star tournament

    about Emily's Tyrantrum: when episode 8 was first reuploaded, one of the changes was Emily's Tyrantrum having Earthquake instead of Stealth Rock as it did before for two battles where it had an Assault Vest, since Assault Vest doesn't allow use of non-damaging moves while held, but at the time I didn't realize those battles were for double battles where you team up with Emily, and Stealth Rock was there so that the player didn't take friendly fire from Earthquake. So now Earthquake is Rock Slide. 

     

    about read option for ICSW's dream journal: I forgot to mention in the last reupload, but since I added a "Read?" option for Professor Mangrove's journal entries in case people would accidentally click again after reading, I went back and added it to the journals in Belinda's mansion too, but forgot to update ICSW's journal with the "Read?" option. It's been added now

    At the Astral Observatory Emily used to say "Lunala?" then Crolea would explain. I realized that if the player and Emily were from Alola, it would be unlikely that Emily wouldn't know about Lunala.

    North of Umira, where Isabelle's gym is, there are three gateways in the water. The one on the left leads to Happy Hot Springs and Molten Mountain. I'll test Geomancy later and see if I'm able to fix it.

    I checked out the shiny area and tried to get a shiny Diancie but talking to it started a fight with a Celebi instead. This probably isn't the place for that but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

    Update: random works fine it's just when selecting shiny

    I'm glad you're enjoying the game! ✨ It made me happy to read that you don't think you've had as much fun with a fangame as with Spork. I'll change the shiny Celebi to Diancie, thanks for letting me know. 

     

    Edit: Fixed, might reupload sometime later this week (currently revamping shiny Abra line)

    The "not for any specific reason" part here isn't the entire story. I did lose interest, but before I lost interest I got discouraged by seeing the thread someone linked for randomizer scripts had a few reported errors and not being sure whether those errors were fixed or just specific to the people who reported it due to other scripts they were using. At the time I just said "not for any specific reason" because I didn't know how to word that. Although the loss of interest in doing might have been separate/could have happened anyway even without the uncertainty.

    For natures: there's a nature changer in Umira (mentioned in FAQ).

    For IVs: there isn't a way to change them in-game, as I'm not sure how to script an event like that, but if you send me your save file, I can change the IVs (and nature) for you. Instructions on how to send save files here if needed; this guide was written for Reborn but works with all Essentials fangames: https://www.rebornevo.com/index.php?/pr/save/

    I've never edited or looked into editing anything involving the bag, and I sometimes forget that there are ways to sort the bag in Pokemon, so I'm not sure if there's a way to sort it in Spork. If Pokemon Essentials by default has a way to sort, than it would, but I wouldn't know if it does. I did look up "essentials wiki bag sorting" and the first result was a page called Script sections, but there was only one mention of sorting:

    which seems to mean sorting exists in Essentials, but it doesn't say how to do so. 

  15. Reuploaded (mediafire); losing a battle at the True Arena will now send you to the True Arena whereas before it sent to just before the battle with Felicia at the winter ball. There was a setpokemoncenter script at the start of the True Arena but it was activated by event touch before, now it's player touch.
