Oh sorry!
I found the marble you were missing! It was the one from battling ICSW.
When I loaded your save you were in Lovely Lake so I went back there and saved after getting the marble.

its fine if you don't send it tonight, I can wait till you get up. Thanks for the swift reply though! But yes you really should add that side note lol and yes I did get the 90+ reward already so now I'm wondering what's the last one I really missed?
The file you sent was the rxproject, the save file is Game.exe which in your PC -> Users -> Saved Games -> Pokemon Spork. This thread has instructions for uploading your save file if needed, it was written for Reborn but works with all Essentials fangames: https://www.rebornevo.com/pr/save/

For the Ninja Club, you have to complete the ranger and police sidequests for it to open. I should maybe add that as a note to the list

I've had the same thing happen where I've felt like I've done everything and checked my marbles and was missing a few.
Did you get the Marble as the reward for turning in 90+ marbles?
I'm about to turn off my laptop for tonight but if you want to send your save file I can see it when I wake up tomorrow, I can set the Marble variable to

I'm really glad you're enjoying Spork!
Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with Joiplay as Vince&Sylveon said, so I wouldn't know how to troubleshoot issues on it. You might get a better answer by going directly to the developer(s) of the app.
For Gen 8 Pokemon, they'll be added in the next reupload, which at earliest will probably be late this month. I did recently learn in the past few days that Palletite is currently IRL situation + semester starting soon, so it might be later as there are some sprites that will be updated next reupload along with the shiny Gothita line.
I hope you're able to find a solution to the Joiplay issues, sorry I wasn't able to help.

Back in December I posted a list of planned team changes for characters when Gen 8 would be added to Spork. With next reupload's Gen 8 additions handled, here's an updated list of team changes. It's similar to December's list, but there are some changes:
Emily: Yanmega -> Frosmoth (nickname Francisca)
Delicia: Alolan Exeggutor -> Appletun (nickname ApplePie)
Jim: Alolan Raticate -> Dubwool (nickname Farm)
Gina: Gengar -> Polteageist (nickname Temperance)
Dylan: Krookodile -> Obstagoon (nickname Milkshake)
Aurora: Jynx -> Mr. Rime (keeps Jynx's nickname Midori)
Tomas: Dragalge, Tentacruel -> Toxtricity (nickname BeatBopBoom), Galarian Weezing (nickname Clockwork)
Carol: Mawile -> Alcremie (nickname RubySwirl); Carol will also be battled in doubles so her Alcremie can make use of Decorate
Alumia: Bronzong -> Copperajah (nickname Copper)
Arnalda: Machamp -> Grapploct (nickname Resilience)
Seamus: Ferrothorn -> Rillaboom (nickname Craic)
Agne: Bisharp -> Falinks (keeps Bisharp's nickname Mars)
Pandora: Magnezone -> Hatterene (nickname Macaroni)
Barker: Manectric -> Boltund (keeps Manectric's nickname Charlie)
Cherry: Camerupt -> Orbeetle (nickname AlienAlien)
Brutus: Incineroar, Electivire -> Falinks (nickname Train; Kommo-o now has what was Incineroar's nickname MonsterT), Corviknight (keeps Electivire's nickname Taxi)
Meda: Noctowl -> Indeedee (keeps Noctowl's nickname Cosmos)
Ryoko (simulation): Haxorus -> Flapple (nickname Zennyo)
Milo (Battle Tower): Flygon -> Flapple
Clover (Battle Tower): Leavanny -> Grimmsnarl
for the changes from the earlier list:
-Aretha will keep Breloom since I think her current team suits her as is and Breloom fits better with her nickname theme
-I decided to give Mr. Rime to Aurora instead of Isabelle. While Mr. Rime would fit Isabelle very well for its appearance and classification as the Comedian Pokemon, I felt like it also fit Aurora well with it being able to tapdance and ice skate. Whereas both Mr. Mime and Mr. Rime fit Isabelle and she could use either since they're both Psychic type, and I feel like Mr. Mime already synergizes well with Isabelle's team, plus the Fairy type helps against Psychic's Dark and Bug weaknesses and I was being careful to avoid having a lot of repeats among teams.
-Originally I was considering giving Ryoko either Dragapult, Flapple, or both. I feel like Flapple fits the colors of her outfit and her personality well.
-on this updated list Angela doesn't have Mega Butterfree, but she's still planned to have it. The reason it isn't listed here is because the custom gigantamax megas will be the reupload after next reupload, due to following Rejuvenation's progress on Gen 8 updates. on the topic, Chelsea will also have Mega Lapras, Tomas Mega Toxtricity, and Carol Mega Alcremie in their postgame rematches once the gigantamegas are implementedThe Gen 8 additions also include learnset updates for Pokemon that were added in the Isle of Armor DLC, as well as a move tutor with the new moves that I was able to add. Kubfu, Urshifu, G-Slowpoke, and G-Slowbro aren't in the next reupload due to following Rejuv's schedule, but will be in a future reupload, and the same applies to Crown Tundra's DLC Pokemon. I've already planned out location and event details for most of them in advance.
I also mentioned in an earlier announcement that I was saving extra dialogue for if the player's parents are chefs for the Applin sidequest, but later I realized that since Applin has split evolutions, it would be better as a wild encounter than a one-time event. Instead, Applin will be encounterable in the Forest of Feeling, and the extra parents are chefs dialogue will occur when talking to Draga after getting through the Cave of Resolve.
PLANET AMITY

There are two other Pokemon who'll be making their debut in Spork next reupload! Following the Smoothie/Meloetta quest in the postgame, a group of Meltan and Melmetal who build planets got into contact with Agne. Planet Amity is a lot like the planet the player is from in Spork, and is designed with a "second home" feel in mind. I've been having a lot of fun creating it and making it a lively place! Pokemon from the player's planet, planet Disco, and planet Coral have all come to visit Amity!
CAROL'S CANDYLAND CASTLE

Alcremie and being battled in doubles aren't the only updates Carol's received for the next reupload. Her gym's also been completely redesigned! I felt like the original one was sort of rushed and had the idea to make it like the Candy Land board game. Steffi even made custom tiles for it like the ones in the above screenshots!
For most announcements I show the next reupload's new/custom shiny, but I felt like it wasn't time to do so yet and will probably show them when the reupload is ready. But I will mention that next reupload's custom shinies are the Gothita line! They were suggested by Steffi, with a color scheme suggested by Palletite, not long after World Goth Day, which was May 23! I do have another graphic I can and would like to show now though, a Team Portal PC box made by Steffi! This PC box replaces the Team Rocket one from default Essentials, which uses the HGSS PC boxes.

Here is the fix for the primordial weathers:
At PokeBattle_Battle script section find this line: def pbPrimordialWeather
Replace that and everything below it till the ##### part with this:
def pbPrimordialWeather # End Primordial Sea, Desolate Land, Delta Stream hasabil=false case @weather when PBWeather::HEAVYRAIN for i in 0...4 if isConst?(@battlers[i].ability,PBAbilities,:PRIMORDIALSEA) && !@battlers[i].isFainted? hasabil=true; break end end if !hasabil @weather=0 pbDisplayBrief("The heavy rain has lifted!") end when PBWeather::HARSHSUN for i in 0...4 if isConst?(@battlers[i].ability,PBAbilities,:DESOLATELAND) && !@battlers[i].isFainted? hasabil=true; break end end if !hasabil @weather=0 pbDisplayBrief("The harsh sunlight faded!") end when PBWeather::STRONGWINDS for i in 0...4 if isConst?(@battlers[i].ability,PBAbilities,:DELTASTREAM) && !@battlers[i].isFainted? hasabil=true; break end end if !hasabil @weather=0 pbDisplayBrief("The mysterious air current has dissipated!") end end endIt should be working properly now
Fixed, thanks again for all your help!

I saw some bugs being posted so I tried to fix some of them:
1) Fell stinger issue:
At PokeBattle_AI section find this:
score+=20 if !attacker.pbTooHigh?(:ATTACK) && opponent.hp<=(opponent.totalhp/4)and replace it with this:
score+=20 if !attacker.pbTooHigh?(PBStats::ATTACK) && opponent.hp<=(opponent.totalhp/4)2) For Aromatic Mist:
At PokeBattle_MoveEffects go to the Aromatic Mist code and find this line:
ret=attacker.pbIncreaseStat(PBStats::SPDEF,1,attacker,false,self)and replace it with this one:
ret=opponent.pbIncreaseStat(PBStats::SPDEF,1,attacker,false,self)3) For Ally switch:
This was quite the problem... A lot of things that I tried didn't work. In the end I decided to just change the targets of the opposing attacks. So, if your opponent has a charmader and an oddish and one of them used ally switch, if you would target the oddish, you will hit the charmader without them switching positions on the screen. If you want to apply that, here is what I did:
I changed the move effect of ally switch to this:
################################################################################ # User switches places with its ally. (Ally Switch) ################################################################################ class PokeBattle_Move_120 < PokeBattle_Move def pbEffect(attacker,opponent,hitnum=0,alltargets=nil,showanimation=true) if !@battle.doublebattle || !attacker.pbPartner || attacker.pbPartner.isFainted? @battle.pbDisplay(_INTL("But it failed!")) return -1 end #pbShowAnimation(@id,attacker,nil,hitnum,alltargets,showanimation) a=@battle.battlers[attacker.index] b=@battle.battlers[attacker.pbPartner.index] temp=a a=b b=temp # Swap effects that point at the position rather than the Pokémon # NOT PerishSongUser (no need to swap), Attract, MultiTurnUser #effectstoswap=[PBEffects::BideTarget, # PBEffects::CounterTarget, # PBEffects::LeechSeed, # PBEffects::LockOnPos, # PBEffects::MeanLook, # PBEffects::MirrorCoatTarget] #for i in effectstoswap # a.effects[i],b.effects[i]=b.effects[i],a.effects[i] #end for i in 0...4 if i!=attacker.index+2 && i!=attacker.index-2 if @battle.choices[i][3]==attacker.index && !attacker.pbPartner.isFainted? @battle.choices[i][3]=attacker.pbPartner.index elsif @battle.choices[i][3]==attacker.pbPartner.index && !attacker.isFainted? @battle.choices[i][3]=attacker.index end end end @battle.pbDisplay(_INTL("{1} and {2} switched places!",attacker.pbThis,attacker.pbPartner.pbThis(true))) end endI know it's not the optimal solution... but it gets the job done
I will try to see what the issue with the primal weathers is maybe one of these days. I hope the fixes work for you!
Thank you very much for always being helpful with move error fixes! I tested these and they all work now!

thanks for letting me know vince and sylveon, yeah captivate works as it should as in the vanilla version and and now attract works on any gender regardless i dont have problem with that imo it needed a buff anyway but its gonna be up to ice cream sand witch to decide i have nothing againts, sometimes some moves deserves a buff and nerf if theres anything that i thought it was a defect but was intentional let me know
Attract and Cute Charm were made to work on all Pokemon regardless of gender unless they have an immunity to infatuation like through the Oblivious ability, I thought I did the same with Captivate last reulpoad because I remembered that I forgot but I guess I forgot that I forgot to change it, will do so for next reupload
edit: Captivate has now been updated for next reupload! -

whenever i tested the move "ally switch" this message error showed up and the ally switch user became invisible then after next turn it reapears and game works normally after that and when i tried the move "aromatic mist" no animation appear whatsoever and no text message showing up and im not sure if it did anything or not it seems that it did nothing idk if thats normal or not, i may be a busy guy but i'll do what i can to find defects so anyone backing me up for moves and ability testing would be greatly appreciated, it might take a while but i'll make sure to find all the bugs as soon as possible lets do our best to work together to make ice cream sandwich's job easier the more people we have for bug reporting the better
Thank you for your reports. That's interesting about the infinite weather abilities stopping in the second slot of double battles, unfortunately I'm not sure why it happens and wasn't able to fix the issues with Ally Switch or Aromatic Mist either. Aromatic Mist had the function code of Freeze-Dry, but even after fixing that, and even though the target is correctly set to the user's ally in moves.txt, for some reason the move raises the user's Special Defense instead of the ally's. For Ally Switch I got the same error, and all the data appears correct in moves.txt, so I'm not sure why it's happening and may remove Ally Switch from the game

And then we get to moves that may have been duplicated such as Sacred Sword and Surf. One of them is the correct type while the other is a Normal Type move without battle animations.
The Normal-type variants are for the Battle VR. In the Battle VR, all the human Pokemon and the damage-dealing moves they can use are Normal-type

i also found more defects that i should let you know that theres no charizardite X there were two charizardite y and when i tested both of them 1 of them works just fine for mega charizard Y but the other one has no mega icon in battle and i tested the mewtwo x and y form and they're working just fine and ive also tested mega charizard X form by debug to see if it works, mega charizard X forms only works when you force it to have that form without the megastone but the megastone doesnt allow it to mega evolve to X form, if i find anymore defects i let you know, nothing is perfect but this is a really well done fan game im glad i tried it out and im also gladly gonna point out the defects in this game to help you fixing it
Oh for this one I changed Charizardite X to a Charizardite Y since Mega Charizard X isn't intended to be in Spork

So, this is really minor and it's less of a bug and more of an omission, but the Berry shop in Aliora City doesn't seem to have the Berries that boost Atk in a pinch. They're called Liechi per Bulbapedia.
Not sure it's worth your time to really fix it but I thought since I noticed it, I might as well point it out. Again, thank you for all your hard work on this game.
Fixed, thanks for letting me know! The issue here was a typo in the event. While Liechi Berries were scripted in the list of items the NPC sells, I misspelled Liechi:

so they weren't showing up in the list of items for players to buy. I'm surprised that the NPC was working at all, since normally when an item is misspelled in an event, it causes the game to crash.
All bugs are worth being reported and fixed, and this was a nice observation!

The Furret walk map was a sudden idea I had, Furret walk is one of my favorite memes and I thought it would be cute and make sense for the area to allow the player to walk with one!
Most of what Isabelle says is just gibberish, but there are a few times where the capital letters in her dialogue can be read as sentences. For example, if you go back to her gym for the postgame rematch, and in the sidegame Delicia's Return to Dreamland.

Reading this post made me really happy! The kind of atmosphere you described (wholesome, childlike wonder) is what I was going for, so I'm glad it reached you, especially with everything that's been happening this year!
I'm currently working on a reupload that will add Gen 8 Pokemon and a few other additions and updates, so if you'd like to play again, it might be worth playing at the next reupload when it's ready! (I don't have an estimate, but maybe sometime in August at earliest? I don't think it'll be this month, but I could definitely see next month)
Thank you for posting this, it was very nice to read and I'm glad you enjoyed Spork so much!

How do I download the game? Whenever I try, I end up in the pie-eating contest event which ends up with me getting a level 100 Lickitung instead of starting my own and choosing my starter. Please help. @Wailmer Watcher
You downloaded Delicia's Delicious Dreamland, which is a smaller game that takes place before Spork. The Spork download links are under the "Episode 8 Download Links" part of the Spork thread, just above the download links for Delicia's Delicious Dreamland.

(also Wailmer Watcher is my member title, my username is Ice Cream Sand Witch. usernames are listed just above member titles)

@bruhtonium I've moved your thread from Developing Games to the Spork club
If you mean during the hide and seek, there's a notepad file in the gamefolder, "halloweenhideandseek", which lists all their locations.

Do you happen to have like a list of maps? In case this happens again, I wanna make sure that I have everything (if that makes sense)
For a list of maps it could be difficult to know how to present it, since some areas have more than one map file, and could also take a while to put together as there are currently 380 (going from the highest number in the Data folder). The closest to a list might be the wiki, which has a locations template that can be viewed on the main page.
If this is helpful, whenever a new episode of a fangame I play comes out, what I do is download the new episode, extract (as a separate folder from the older ep) and play from the new episode folder. The older episode folders I remove from my PC.
I'm not sure if that's already how you updated, but when you said patched I imagined transferring files from the new to the old or vice versa

Hey
So candidly, I downloaded 4.5 from a random site and when I got to the end of it, I updated by patching the new files. Do you think that's why I was missing maps?
-Chris
It could be possible the files from the old folder and new folder combined if the old folder was kept after downloading the new one, or if files were skipped. I meant to bring this up as another possibility last night but didn't know how to word it
-
It seems like Petilil Prairie is somehow missing from your game. I've attached the Petilil Prairie maps in this post, they go in the Data folder.
I'm not sure how the map could have went missing as this has never been reported before. I've also been to the Giggly Grasslands and Petilil Prairie a few times today and yesterday and everything was okay. Is it possible you could have somehow deleted the map accidentally?

-splash.png titles were fixed for the Joiplay/mobile app that can run RPG Maker gamesThere was a lot for this reupload, some of which has been planned for a while and some of which came up while in the process of making the reupload.
Since I showed the shiny
Gible line earlier, here's the mega!

based on:

For the Battle Tower trainers, there are now 12 battles (13 counting Brutus); 3 sets of 4 trainers. The Danganronpa trainers were replaced and the Sonic-based Pokemon teams now just appear in the Tapu Bulu quest. Here are some of the new trainers in the Battle Tower!

For a bit of trivia about some of the above trainers not mentioned in the Battle Tower: Ty and Barry are a duo called the Snack Pack. Ty is the upbeat one while Barry is nervous and exhausted in high-energy environments, but they make a great team despite being opposites. Kaitlyn is a call back to Sierran's original sprite which had light blue hair. Eva has vitiligo, and her guitar has a Noivern design.
A lot of bugs that have been around for a while, some since the beginning, have been fixed. Groniack was very helpful with providing scripts for battle-related errors, having messaged me after seeing the King's Shield issue mentioned in the bug reporting thread. Some trainer battles against Pokemon have always had the Pokemon's trainer sprite floating high over the background, and I never knew how to fix that because while there's altitude for Pokemon in the PBS, there isn't for trainers, but Steffi was able to edit them.
I'm really excited about this reupload because of how much has been updated and added!
