I agree. Valid points, but the problems he points out are certainly not fatal to the story, atleast not yet. If these problems are things Seehan hasn't really considered up til now, it's still very possible to gradually change things in the upcoming parts. As for the part about darkness, I don't think it is bad at all. Canon games logic is that everyone's skin is made of diamond, regardless of what species, with no permanent effects from fights. For a story, I don't think that would work as well.

Make sure that you have close to a full party of 6, even for the first gym. Get all of them up to a decent level and it will be a lot easier. In the original versions, having only 2 or 3 was usually enough for the first 2 gyms. Not for Reborn.

I feel like the rest of the pokemon available from the growlithe egg event will be obtainable in the wild very soon. I don't think we'll be crossing the desert in the next episode so I doubt that the ground types will be coming through. I really hope we get rock climb though. So many places I need to see >.<

Squirtle isn't showing up. It's raining, I've talked to that guy in the building that he wants you to catch the squirtle, and I go to the place, and I'm alone. Event is triggered for sure, but unless something happened between episode 14 and 15 where the process changed... idk.

I've been using Meowstic up til the 8th gym, and it's still pretty solid in terms of offensive capabilities. I'll probably be replacing her with Gardevoir soon, but Psychic Meowstic isn't bad at all.

It's heavily disadvantageous to not have a full party at the appropriate level. I suggest you use anything you can and try things out.

Dig a pit right in front of Reborn's Hall, and throw him in there, along with Pokemon like Muk, Garbador, and an Exploud. The crowd will witness Fern for 7 years, living in filth. The Exploud will deprive Fern of sleep, driving him into madness. Once the 7 years are up, bring him out, and give him to Dr. Sigmund. Sigmund will use his shock therapy until Fern's sanity is brought back. Then, a heated iron rod will be used to brand Fern on his back and his forehead with a symbol of shame, If Fern has not bitten off his own tongue during this process, then it shall be decapitated with a blade. Then, rip out his eyelids, and banish him to the Byxbyzion wasteland, where the corrosive air will inflict everlasting pain upon his eyes. Fern will wander in pain and hunger until Shade comes to relieve him.

Mightyena- Swagger, although not always reliable, did a considerable amount of damage in gym battles Skunktank- Toxic always came through if I lacked the damage, and Focus Energy + Night Slash = Crits, crits, and more crits

Okay, so I can see why many would be against adding character to the protagonists side. But, is it possible to add emotion to the answers, without thrusting the character part onto it?

Actually, couldn't they do that with the Fern scene I described? You would say yes, and then Fern would leave you without opening the door because you merely said yes instead of repeating the sentence.

I agree, but I think there are a lot of situations, where simple answers aren't adequate. In LoZ Skyward Sword, the game occasionally allows you to choose between 3 answers, and each answer provokes a different response from NPCs. What I don't like is.. There's so little emotion that the NPC's emotion seems almost unwarranted. As for the spoiler tag, I believe only episode 16 spoilers need it?

Could you please give us a little more options with our responses? For example, when we're caged in by Nuzleaf and Fern offers to release us if we beg, instead of a plain "No", say "Go to hell." I can't remember all of the scenes where we have a say in something, but plain "Yes" and "No" seem a little too simplistic. Every single character in Reborn is incredibly developed except us, the protagonist. I know it may deviate from how Pokemon games usually are, but "our" vocabulary in that game is literally worse than Link in LoZ.

Just started to do a 2nd playthrough, and I got to the part where I rescue electrike from two Mightyenas. Immediately, I noticed that the Mightyena sprites are awkwardly placed.. Like, one Mightyena literally has his nose up the other Mightyena's butthole. Might be something that devs would want to change in the future. Screenshot: http://imgur.com/mIRtw3D

Not sure if it's just me, but the water sphere looks a little awkward and crowded. I think it would look better to get rid of the sphere, and only have the 3 rings.

Neat animation!! Will you be making a different animation for regular evolutions as well to make it a little more consistent with the mega evolution animation?

Just thought of this while watching Jurassic World: Due to the greater number of obstacles in a forest, the higher you go (branching), logically, wouldn't flying Pokemon be restricted in their movements a little more? Suggested Change: Reduce speed of flying types, or reduce damage of certain attacks. Also, maybe make Roost heal for more in Forests?
