  1. Okay, boys, girls, and those in-between, I've got a Delta today that's technically already been made into a Delta by Pokemon Insurgence; however, I'm putting a new spin on it, so I think it's okay. Delta Snorunt -> Delta Glalie/Froslass Description: Delta Snorunt is mainly made up of a small chunk of rock with a few nuggets of iron sticking out. Delta Glalie is a larger, roughly circular rock with big chunks of iron sticking out of its head, like horns. Its mega is a much smoother chunk of rock that has a polished iron jaw and much more refined chunks of metal sticking out of it in the same places that its non-delta mega has spikes. Delta Froslass, on the other hand, is made entirely of metal, and has rapiers for hands, sort of like Bisharp. It also has two glowing red devil horns sticking out of cracks on its head, and its inside glows with an eerie red force. Reason for Making: To be frank, I'm not sure I like what Pokemon Insurgence did with Delta Glalie. Sure, their Delta Froslass is fine, but their Delta Glalie has a typing (Fire/Rock) that's almost as bad as its default typing. My Delta Glalie's typing, while far from perfect, is a little better, giving it two good STAB types that it can take advantage of with its mega (especially the Rock type, as it can abuse Magic Guard and Rock Head with Head Smash). Delta Froslass, on the other hand, was made when I realized that on my list of Delta brainstorming, I didn't make a dark-type Delta. I decided to take a page out of Bisharp's book and give it Dark/Steel, and designed it as a fast entry hazard setter that strongly discourages Defog and can go both physically and specially. Ability: Rock Head/Inner Focus/Battle Armor -> Rock Head/Inner Focus/Battle Armor/[Magic Guard], Defiant/Competitive Level-Up Movepool: Delta Snorunt Delta Glalie Delta Froslass TM Moves: - Snorunt loses compatibility with Hail, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Rain Dance, and Frost Breath; however, it gains compatibility with Taunt, Smack Down, Earthquake, Dig, Sandstorm, Rock Tomb, Rock Polish, Stone Edge, Bulldoze, and Rock Slide. - Glalie is the same as Snorunt, plus compatibility with Hyper Beam, Charge Beam, Giga Impact, and Wild Charge. - Froslass is the same as Snorunt, plus compatibility with Hyper Beam, Shadow Ball, Aerial Ace, Thief, Embargo, Shadow Claw, Payback, Giga Impact, Snarl, and Dark Pulse. Tutor Moves: -Snorunt loses compatibility with Icy Wind and Water Pulse, but gains compatibility with Iron Head, Earth Power, Iron Defense, and Stealth Rock. -Glalie is the same as Snorunt, plus compatibility with Super Fang and Signal Beam -Froslass is the same as Snorunt, plus compatibility with Signal Beam, Shock Wave, Snatch, Trick, Knock Off, and Foul Play. Bred Moves: Identical, minus Avalanche and plus Rock Blast. Egg Group: Fairy/Mineral
  2. I'm kind of ambivalent about the bear (though it does look cute in 3D), but I actually really like Mimikkyu. It's like it's going "GUYS LOOK IT ME I'M TOTALLY A PIKACHU LOVE ME" and I love it.
  3. SO CLOSE... Also Jan if you do "Never Test: 100%" again I will fite you
  4. Okay, I will. Thanks for the feedback. Also, I really like your idea!
  5. Okay, I've got another Delta coming at you, and it's kind of a doozy. Say hello to... Delta Eevee -> Delta Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon: Fairy -> Poison, Rock, Flying, Fighting, Steel, Bug, Ghost, Dragon Description: Eevee is more or less the same, but poofier, and has a Delta symbol drawn on its forehead. Vaporeon is purple with white streaks, and has a skunk's tail instead of a mermaid's tail. Jolteon is made of polished granite, and has quartz crystals instead of spikes. Flareon's colors are paler, it has a poofy cloud mane, and has wings made of clouds. Espeon is tan and brown instead of pink and purple, and has a glowing kanji for "power" on its forehead instead of a gem. Umbreon is made of steel and has a sickle for a tail, and has thinner limbs. Leafeon is purple, has eight limbs (instead of four), has a stinger tail instead of a leaf tail, and has compund eyes. Glaceon's body is made mostly of an ethereal grey mist, with its skeleton visible and glowing red eyes. Sylveon is a bright red and orange, with snakes instead of ribbons and a scar instead of a bow. Reason For Creation: I've always liked the Eeveelutions; they’re a cool concept, and they've got some awesome designs. However, sometimes their stat distributions and typings clashed, making Pokemon that ended up in PU. Sure, Espeon, Sylveon, and Umbreon turned out okay, but poor Glaceon, Leafeon and Flareon got shafted pretty hard. These Deltas seek to make the weaker Eeveelutions better, and the stronger ones even better. Plus, I was planning on making starters for my fan-made Pokemon game idea that are Deltas, and Eevee seemed like it would help monotypers out by giving them more options without having to hack in a starter. Ability: Run Away/Adaptability/Anticipation -> Wonder Skin/Multiscale, Sand Force/Technician, Gale Wings/Reckless, Mega Launcher/Competitive, Filter/Clear Body, Tinted Lens/Speed Boost, Illusion/Magic Guard, Multiscale/Contrary Level-up Movepool: Eevee: Vaporeon: Jolteon: Flareon: Espeon: Umbreon: Leafeon: Glaceon: Sylveon: TM Compatibility: -Eevee is unchanged. -Vaporeon is unchanged from Eevee, except it can also learn Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Venoshock, Flamethrower, Sludge Bomb, Sludge Wave, Fire Blast, Incinerate, Overheat, Poison Jab, Strength, and Rock Smash. -Jolteon is unchanged from Eevee, except it can also learn Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Light Screen, Smack Down, Earthquake, Bulldoze, Sandstorm, Rock Tomb, Rock Polish, Stone Edge, Rock Slide, Flash Cannon, Dazzling Gleam, Strength, and Rock Smash. -Flareon is unchanged from Eevee, except it can also learn Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Hail, Roost, Aerial Ace, Steel Wing, Sky Drop, Acrobatics, Strength, and Rock Smash. -Espeon is unchanged from Eevee, except it can also learn Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Calm Mind, Psyshock, Brick Break, Bulk Up, Low Sweep, Focus Blast, Energy Ball, Light Screen, Reflect, Psychic, Cut, Rock Smash, and Strength. -Umbreon is unchanged from Eevee, except it can also learn Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Taunt, Torment, Dragon Tail, Trick Room, Gyro Ball, Flash Cannon, Snarl, and Cut. -Leafeon is unchanged from Eevee, except it can also learn Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Earthquake, Bulldoze, Aerial Ace, Struggle Bug, Shadow Claw, Rock Slide, Poison Jab, X-Scissor, Infestation, U-Turn, Strength, and Rock Smash. -Glaceon is unchanged from Eevee, except it can also learn Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Will-O-Wisp, Trick Room, Shadow Claw, Frost Breath, Strength, and Rock Smash. -Sylveon is unchanged from Eevee, except it can also learn Giga Impact, Hyper Beam, Dragon Claw, Calm Mind, Sludge Bomb, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Overheat, Incinerate, Dragon Tail, and Cut. 6. MY NEW COMPUTER IS HERE I'M SO HAPPY AAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  7. Eh, at least Gen. 7 shows they're learning. Togedemaru has a good defensive typing and good abilities, so I guess it's gonna be fine... As for me, I just hope they never make pretty much any of the Pokemon that are going to be in Pokemon Clover (a Pokemon fan-game made by 4-chan). You can see them here (second list, not the first; the first is actually pretty cool).
  8. I think I killed my own thread. ;~;

  9. Wow, I really got a lot of feedback! Thanks to everyone who replied so far, and here's my next idea: Delta Slakoth/Vigoroth/Slaking: Electric Description: The whole evolutionary family is colored yellow instead of light brown, electric green instead of dark brown, and electric blue instead of pink/red. Additionally, Slaking is standing upright and has electricity surrounding its hands. Reason For Creation: Slaking, by all means, should be Ubers material. It has godly stats bar Special Defense (and even that can be patched up with an assault vest) and a great movepool; however, its horrendous ability keeps it stuck in PU. The challenge with this Delta was making it strong enough for OU, but somewhat crippled enough so that it didn't shoot straight to Ubers. Funnily enough, Twitch Plays Pokemon (way back in 2014) helped me come up with the idea: back in TPP Randomized Fire Red, they caught a Slaking that had Minus instead of Truant, so I figured I'd give that to Slaking, as it's a relatively useless ability that doesn't actually harm it. Additionally, the Electric typing doesn't give it access to many good physical moves, so it suffers from Kyurem-B syndrome and can't take full advantage of its godly Attack stat. Hopefully, this will hold it back enough so it's "just" OU material. Ability: Minus -> Plus -> Minus Level-up Movepool: Delta Slakoth: Lv. 1: Nuzzle, Charge Lv. 6: Encore Lv. 9: Slack Off Lv. 14: Feint Attack Lv. 17: Amnesia Lv. 22: Spark Lv. 25: Thunder Punch Lv. 30: Counter Lv. 33: Wild Charge Lv. 38: Play Rough Delta Vigoroth: Lv. 1: Reversal, Nuzzle, Focus Energy, Encore, Volt Switch Lv. 6: Encore Lv. 9: Volt Switch Lv. 14: Fury Swipes Lv. 17: Endure Lv. 23: Thunderbolt Lv. 27: Thunder Punch Lv. 33: Counter Lv. 37: Focus Punch Lv. 43: Reversal Delta Slaking: Lv. 1: Hammer Arm, Punishment, Fling, Nuzzle, Charge, Encore, Slack Off Lv. 6: Encore Lv. 9: Slack Off Lv. 14: Feint Attack Lv. 17: Amnesia Lv. 23: Spark Lv. 27: Thunder Punch Lv. 33: Counter Lv. 36: Swagger Lv. 39: Wild Charge Lv. 47: Fling Lv. 53: Punishment Lv. 61: Hammer Arm TM Compatibility: More or less the same, except that compatibility with Wild Charge, Volt Switch, and Thunder Wave is added. Tutor Moves: More or less the same, except that compatibility with Magnet Rise is added. Bred Moves: More or less the same. Egg Group: Field Let me know what you guys think!

  10. So, anybody here familiar with the TCG or Pokemon Zeta/Omnicron/Insurgence? If so, you might remember that they had Delta Pokemon, or Pokemon that had different typings and the movepools to match them, but otherwise no changes. What I'm suggesting is that we come up with some of our own Deltas, in this format: [Delta Name]: [Delta Primary Typing]/[Delta Secondary Typing] [Delta Design Description] [Reason for creating Delta] [Delta Ability 1]/[Delta Ability 2]/[Delta Hidden Ability] [Delta Level-up Movepool] [Delta TM Movepool] [Delta Tutor Movepool] [Delta Breeding Movepool] [Delta Egg Group] Here, let me give an example, based on an idea I've been spitballing around: Delta Tropius: Fairy/Dragon Design Description: A Dragon made out of candy and cake, with cherries growing on its neck and lollipop wings (picture Slurpuff, but a dragon). Reason for Creation: To me, Tropius was one of those Pokemon that got screwed over by its typing. It has decent defensive stats, two great boosting moves in Dragon Dance and Swords Dance, and a wide support movepool. However, its Grass/Flying Typing is terribadtastic defensively and has several flaws offensively, so it's stuck in the depths of PU. I figure with a better defensive and offensive typing, it could do better, so I gave it a Fairy/Dragon typing, which (as Mega Altaria has proven) is a great typing both offensively and defensively. It might not be OU material, but I figure it's gotta be better than PU. Abilities: Mulitscale/Sweet Veil/Harvest Level-Up Movepool: -Lv. 1: Outrage, Leer, Fairy Wind, Cotton Spore, Twister -Lv. 6: Sweet Scent -Lv. 10: Stomp -Lv. 16: Dragon Breath -Lv. 21: Aromatheraphy -Lv. 26: Dragon Pulse -Lv. 30: Natural Gift -Lv. 36: Play Rough -Lv. 41: Body Slam -Lv. 46: Bestow -Lv. 50: Cotton Guard -Lv. 56: Dragon Rush -Lv. 61; Outrage TM Movepool: Hone Claws, Dragon Claw, Roar, Toxic, Hidden Power, Sunny Day, Hyper Beam, Protect, Roost, Frustration, Earthquake, Return, Double Team, Aerial Ace, Facade, Rest, Attract, Round, Steel Wing, Energy Ball, Giga Impact, Flash, Swords Dance, Bulldoze, Dragon Tail, Swagger, Sleep Talk, Substitute, Secret Power, Nature Power, Dazzling Gleam, Confide, Cut, Fly, Strength, Rock Smash Tutor Movepool: Snore, Dual Chop, Dragon Pulse, Outrage, Tailwind Bred Moves: Curse, Dragon Dance, Dragon Rage, Dragon Rush, Headbutt, Leech Seed, Moonblast, Moonlight, Natural Gift, Nature Power, Razor Wind, Slam, Egg Group: Monster/Fairy So, yeah, that's it. Let me know what you think, and feel free to leave your own ideas!
  11. So, the new "Pikachu-lookalike" of the game is an Electric/Steel Type. Knowing the base stats of Pikachu clones, it probably won't be top-tier, but I bet it might be kinda cool in the lower tiers.

  13. Chapter 1: Gwynevre "Honey! Wake up!" Melanie woke up to the sound of her mother coming from the living room. She groggily got dressed and looked out the window for a brief moment. Her hometown, Asperita City, was a relatively peaceful place. She had been young when it and the rest of Unova had been taken over by the Empire, but it had been annexed relatively peacefully, and recently the Empire seemed to mostly ignore it (at least compared to the other cities). As she walked into the living room, her mother rose from where she was sitting and came to greet her. "Good morning, dear! I've got some big news for you." Melanie was puzzled. Nothing big ever happened in her town. Was the Empress coming to visit it? "A servant of the Empress is coming to this town. She'd like to make you a collection officer!" This startled Melanie. Collection officers were some of the few Pokemon trainers left in the region, and they were tasked with finding those who were illegally owning Pokemon and confiscate them. She had always loathed them, but if the Empress said something, it was to be followed without hesitation. "Very well," she said. "Where is she? I'd like to meet her." "She's at the outlook point. I'll take you to meet her." ~ It was a bright, sunny day out, but to Melanie's surprise the Empress' servant was the only one at the outlook. She was apparently deep in thought, because when Melanie and her mother arrived, she didn't notice them until Melanie's mother tapped her on the shoulder. She turned around, and Melanie saw that she was quite young; not as young as Melanie was, but around her late teens. She awkwardly shook hands with Melanie's mother, and then began to speak. "Hello, Mrs. Hargrave! My name is Bianca, and I'm going to be training your daughter." She shifted a little, then continued. "Um, I'm under regulation to tell your daughter the rules of being a collection officer, so would you mind giving us some privacy?" Melanie's mother hesitated, but slowly nodded. "Whatever you say. Good luck, Honey." Melanie's mother then hugged her, and walked away. Once she was out of earshot, Bianca turned to Melanie and took a deep breath. "Your name's Melanie, right? Well, I have both a confession and a request to make." "Um, okay," Melanie replied. "What is it?" Bianca swallowed. "I'll start with the confession. The whole 'collection officer' thing? That was a lie. I'm not working for the Empire, and I doubt the Empress knows I'm here." Melanie's jaw dropped. "What?! B-but you have Pokemon on you! That means-" "Yes," Bianca interrupted. "I'm a rebel." Melanie started to back away slowly. "That means you're on the top of the Empire's hit list! If the Empress finds out you're here..." "I know," Bianca responded. "However, that brings me to my request." She then pulled a container that held three Pokeballs out of her bag and opened it. "I have three Pokemon on me right now. Tell me, Melanie, have you ever heard of a trainer named Gwyn?" Melanie was too dumbfounded to talk, so Bianca continued. "He was the leader of a revolt, and the closest chance this region had for freedom. Sadly, he fell to the Empire, and all records of him were erased from the public." "Wait a second," Melanie finally said. "If nobody can know or talk about this Gwyn person, how come you know about him?" Bianca smiled slightly. "I was one of his closet companions. I'm planning a second rebellion, and I want you to be the first civilian to join me." Melanie felt dizzy. "But... why?" Bianca shrugged. "Why I'm starting a rebellion, or why I chose you? For the first, I knew Gwyn very well, and he rebelled because he wanted all people to be able to own Pokemon freely. I don't want his dreams to die. As for the second, I could have chosen anybody. I figured that I'd pick somebody from this city since the Empress never paid too much attention to it, and I decided to chose somebody who was young enough to fly under the Empire's radar, yet old enough to understand the gravity of the situation. You were one of the few people here that fit the bill. Now, please, choose one of these Pokemon, and-" Suddenly, a Tepig burst out of the brush, pounced on Bianca, and knocked the container of pokeballs out of her hands. Bianca screamed, and the Tepig ran over to a young boy, roughly Melanie's age. Melanie had seen him before; his name was Hugh, and he was the town's newest collection officer. He smirked slightly as he picked up one of the pokeballs and inspected it. "Well, well, well. Look what we have here; somebody illegally distributing Pokemon." He shot Bianca a death glare. "I heard you were going to make somebody a new collection officer, so I came to welcome them to the party. I got suspicious when I saw you two talking by yourselves, so I sent my Tepig to investigate. You two are going t have to come with me." Suddenly, Melanie snapped into action. "Like hell we will!" she screamed, quickly picking up one of the pokeballs and throwing it. Out came a Snivy. Melanie cursed her luck; why did she have to have a type disadvantage? Regardless, she decided to go on the defensive. "Snivy, use Leer!" The Snivy glared at the Tepig, and it slowly began to back away. "Tepig, what are you doing?" Hugh shouted. "Get back there and fight! Use Tackle!" The Tepig looked up to him, then reluctantly charged forward. Snivy took the hit square in the chest, but landed on its feet and bounced back with a tackle of its own. The Tepig recoiled in pain, and desperately charged forward with a second Tackle; however, Snivy managed to see it coming and charged forward with a Tackle. The two collided head on, and while Snivy was dazed, Tepig went flying and collapsed to the ground, fainted. Hugh looked in shock; the situation for him had been flipped on its head. Now, it was he who was at the mercy of a Pokemon Trainer. "Tell you what," Melanie said, looking Hugh straight in the eye. "Leave us alone and don't report this incident to anybody, and we'll leave you alone. Live and let live; sounds good, right?" Hugh, disgusted, nodded and began to back away. "This isn't over," he warned, and finally ran off. As he turned away, Bianca took a small headset out of her pocket and handed it to Melanie. "I'd like to take this," she said, "as a thanks for saving me.I guess you don't really have a choice about joining the rebellion now, so I figure I might as well give you every shot you have. This headset will let you understand the language of Pokemon. Please, try it on." Melanie looked it over, then decided to try it on. Once it was comfortably fit on her head, she looked at the Snivy and said to it, "Hello. Can you understand me?" The Snivy looked up at her. "Wait, you can speak Pokemon?" It said. "Why didn't you help me out more in the fight?!" Normally, Melanie would have questioned her entire existence: in the span of a few minutes, she had joined a rebellion, obtained a Pokemon, and started talking with one. However, she was too caught up in the situation to wonder about anything right now. "Look, I'm sorry I wasn't more help, but that's besides the point. What's your name?" The Snivy rolled its eyes. "My name's Gwynevre. I guess I'm yours now. Pleased to meet you, boss." Ignoring the Snivy's snark, Melanie turned to Bianca. "Look, I appreciate everything you've given me, but I can't topple an empire witm just one Snivy. Do you have any more Pokemon?" Bianca's smile faltered. "Unfortunately, no. That jerk took the other two Pokemon I had on me, and I don't think getting them back is an option. However, there are still some wild Pokemon out there. Gwyn was able to find them, and I bet you can too." She looked at the Snivy, who had its arms crossed and was tapping its foot impatiently. "Anyway, I doubt that punk will keep his end of the bargain. I'll get out of here, but you should too. Don't even say goodbye; the Empire works fast. Good luck, Melanie." ~ Well, there you have it. My first chapter, up to the fight against Hugh. Let me know what you think!
  14. Thanks! I already have a rough story in my head for this run; I'm planning to tweak it based on what Pokemon I find and if/when they faint. Thank you kindly! And yes, I'll get back to the Rejuvenation Viability Rankings soon. =P

  16. Well, I've decided to follow in the footsteps of DerogatoryTrainer and do a story-based Nuzlocke, this time of Pokemon Blaze Black 2, a ROM-hack of Pokemon Black 2 that adds all 649 Pokemon at the time into the game and amps up the difficulty. Also, since the game gives you access to Challenge Mode right off the bat, I've decided to do it entirely in Challenge Mode (mainly because I'm a masochist). As mentioned above, I'm going to try to give this run an overarching story; tell me what you think and give me tips (or, y'know, belittle me) in the comments! Anyway, here's the team as of this post: Also, here's the rest of the team, in the PC: Finally, here's the Pokemon that are out of commission: Oh yeah, I will be using save states, but not to cheat death; I'll be using them to make checkpoints after every gym so that I can fall back on something in case I get a total party kill. You don't want the story to come to a grinding halt, do you? Now then, on with the show! The Unova Region. A region once known as a land of immense beauty, it has become a brutal totalitarian state ruled by the Empress Iris and her police force, Team Plasma. The Pokemon that once roamed freely around the region are now almost entirely gone, having been captured and transformed into brutal cyborgs controlled by a massive consciousness under control of the Empress. Owning a Pokemon, unless you happen to be a member of Team Plasma or one of the lesser rulers in the region, is forbidden. Any trainer who has Pokemon will be attacked until their Pokemon have fainted, and then they will be snagged using technology developed in the Orre Region and converted into cyborgs like the rest. However, once, this could have changed. A trainer rose from Nuvema Town, with a ragtag team of Pokemon in tow. He defeated the Gym Leaders, liberated one city after another, and fought all the way to the Elite Four, Empress Iris' top soldiers. However, although he was even chosen by the Legendary Pokemon Reshiram, he was defeated and imprisoned by Ghetsis, the head of Team Plasma and Iris' second-in-command. His friends, who were co-leaders in his rebellion, vanished without a trace, and slowly the region fell back under the control of the Empire. However, unbeknownst to the Empire, one of the trainer's two closest friends has managed to obtain three coveted Pokemon, and is planting the seeds for a second rebellion, led by another young trainer. It will be a long struggle, and there are many risks ahead, but it's the only hope she has... Thus ends the prologue. Wish me luck!

  18. Update #37: Standard Operating Procedures Well, I had to cheese the fight with Noel a little by altering the weather so it was raining, but I still think I did pretty well. On TEH URN, Kitara led with Heather, and Noel led with his Cinccino. Thanks to swift swim, Heather managed to set up two layers of toxic spikes, but ended up fainting to a rock blast and a tail slap. Racist came out next, and she managed to tank a tail slap and do massive damage with two giga drains, ending the Cinccino! Noel's Staraptor came out next, but it wasn't exactly a powerful one; it did some serious damage to Lord Cover (whom Kitara swapped Racist out for) with a close combat, but Lord Cover was able to OHKO it with a rock slide. Moving on... Up next came Noel's Pyroar... and I'll be honest, this guy was a pain. Memekip came out, but he fell instantly to a field-boosted hidden power grass. Cress came out next, but he fell instantly to a hidden power as well. Running out of options, Kitara sent out Catherine, who miraculously managed to survive a dark pulse and ended it with a brine! Noel sent out his Porygon-Z next, and Kitara sent Racist out again. Racist shrugged off a discharge and did massive damage with two giga drains, ending the glitchy virtual life-form! Noel then sent out his obligatory Mega, Mega Lopunny. Racist stayed on the field, and he did impressive damage with a hydro pump, but also took serious damage in return from a jump kick. Luckily, he was able to KO Lopunny with a mighty giga drain, leaving only Noel's ace! Noel's Clefable, his ace and only Pokemon that wasn't a normal-type, came out, and Kitara kept Racist on the field. He did impressive damage with a hydro pump, but fell to a moonblast, propting Catherine to come out.Noel used an ultra potion on Clefable, so Catherine wasn't able to knock it out with a brine on her first turn out; however, despite getting her special attack lowered by a moonblast, she was able to knock it out with two more brines, ending the fight! With the Standard Badge in hand, it's time to go forward onto Route 1! The team so far:
  19. Update #36: Tele-Frag Well, the PULSE Abra was kind of hard, but I think I ended up getting kind of lucky. On TEH URN, Kitara led with Cress, but he fell to a single energy ball. Racist came out next, and he managed to seriously dent it with a hydro pump, but fainted to two shock waves. Cain came out swinging with an aqua jet, but like Cress before him he fell to an energy ball. Catherine then came out, and to my amazement, she survived a psychic to end the Abra with a shadow ball! With that over with, it's time to take on Noel for real this time! The team so far:

  21. Update #35: The Day the Earth Stood Steelix Well, the Steelix wasn't all that bad, but I guess that's to be expected, since I had a mono-water team. Anyway, Kitara led with Cress, and he did quite a lot of damage with a scald; sadly, he didn't get a burn off, and fainted to a single earthquake. Memekip came out next, and he managed to lower the Steelix's accuracy with a muddy water... only to miss two more muddy waters and fall to an iron head and a stone edge. Luckily, Catherine was able to swoop in and end it with a mighty brine, ending the fight! Onward to the PULSE Abra! The team so far:
  22. Update #34: Psychotherapy Well, Sigmund took a couple tries, but once I got past his Eelektross and his Rotom-C he wasn't quite so bad. On TEH URN, Kitara led with Memekip, and Sigmund led with his Mega Ampharos. It slightly hurt Memekip with a hidden power, but Memekip kept whacking away with earthquakes, forcing Sigmund to use up all of his ultra potions and leading to Ampharos' demise once he ran out! Up next came Sigmund's Eelektross, so Kitara swapped out to Racist. Racist did quite a bit of damage with a hydro pump, but got paralyzed by a discharge. Fortunately, she was able to stay alive long enough to do some more damage with a giga drain, but ultimately fell to two more discharges.Cain came out next, and he did serious damage with an aqua tail, but was left with 17 HP from a discharge; luckily, he was able to end it with an aqua jet! Sigmund decided to stop messing around and sent out his most problematic Pokemon: his Rotom-C. Kitara swapped out to Catherine, and she managed to tank a shadow ball while setting up a rain dance, but fell to a leaf storm. Cain came out next as a sacrificial lamb, and fell to a leaf storm; however, this was what I wanted, as now Rotom-C's special attack was harshly lowered. This let Heather swoop in, tank a discharge, and end the Rotom with two poison jabs! Sigmund's Luxray came up next, and so I kept Heather on the field. She did massive damage with an aqua tail, but fainted to a single thunder fang. Fortunately, Derpi came out next, and she survived a facade to end the Luxray with an earthquake! Sigmund's ace, Electivire, came out next, but it was kind of pathetic. It only used a fire punch, which barely dented Memekip (whom I swapped Derpi out for). In retaliation, Memekip was able to end it with a single earthquake! All that was left was Sigmund's Lanturn. It managed to survive an earthquake, but it wasn't able to do much with a scald, and it fell to a second earthquake, ending the fight! With Sigmund blasted across the cove and Saphira kidnapped, it's time to save her! ...Not that she really needs saving, but eh. The team so far:
  23. Update #33: The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway Well, Serra took a couple tries, but I managed to beat her eventually. On TEH URN, Kitara led with Big Bertha, and Serra led with her Mega Abomasnow. Now, if it used wood hammer, that would pretty much mean the end of the run for me, but luckily it chose to use blizzard, which Big Bertha survived, allowing her to retaliate with a signal beam! This forced Serra to use her first ultra potion, and Big Bertha took it down fast with two more signal beams! Up next came the Pokemon that took the most time to beat: Serra's Mamoswine. Since I knew from experience that Serra's field would punish misses from physical attackers, I had Kitara swap out to Catherine. She tanked an icicle crash and a rock slide to fire off a reflected brine and set up a rain dance, then got healed by a berry ice cream while Serra healed her Mamoswine. Mamoswine used up its evasion boosts and unleashed a mighty critical-hit blizzard; said blizzard must have been powered up by Serra's hax powers, as it froze Catherine. Kitara tried healing Catherine with two berry ice creams, but Mamoswine kept whacking away with blizzards, earth powers and icicle crashes, stalling out the rain.Thankfully, she eventually thawed out, tanked a blizzard and an icicle crash, did massive damage with a brine, and was able to stay alive long enough (thanks to another berry ice cream) to knock it down to the yellow after Catherine used up her last ultra potion; sadly, she fainted to a rock slide and a blizzard. However, her struggle was not in vain, as M.C. Hammer was able to swoop in, tank a blizzard, and end it with a crabhammer! Serra's Vanilluxe came out next, so Kitara swapped out to Memekip. He protected himself from a signal beam, then tanked a second signal beam and a frost breath and ended the Vanilluxe with two rock slides, leaving him with 5 HP to spare! Serra sent out her Glaceon next, and Kitara sent out Lord Cover. He tanked a shadow ball and set up a shall smash, then took out the Glaceon with a single rock slide! His pseudo-sweep continued to Serra's Cloyster, as it flinched to a rock slide and fell to a second one! All that remained was Serra's Froslass. It outsped Lord Cover and took him out with a shadow ball, so Kitara sent out Memekip to stall for time an heal M.C. Hammer with a super potion while he fainted to a shadow ball. Froslass tried to set up a double team, but M.C. Hammer remained unfazed and took out Froslass with a mighty knock off! With Serra down, it's time to get medicine for Anna! The team so far:
