They're some of my favorites. On my most recent run of RD I finally got that super secret character with the overly complicated method of attainment (At the end, not Stefan). I won't mention a name for those of you who haven't played fe9/10.
I actually based a lot of the RP off of Radiant Dawn because I loved the level layout so much. Deminbriar is actually based on the Part 1's Daien Cities.
The areas varied a lot in the Tellius games, and they don't very much in the rest of the series (Except maybe fe4 because the huge maps gave a ton of room to work with) besides going from outdoors to indoors. It was a good choice to go off of
