  1. I'm expecting a main series title, but boy, if we got another Conquest or a proper Pokemon Mystery Dungeon for the 3DS/N3DS, I'd be downright ecstatic.
  2. I suspect that they'll at least include a bonus for having the Amiibos, if not allow you to add those Pokemon into your game. I am personally expecting Z, but it's probably because I took Geometry too recently and I'm still in the mindset of XYZ coordinates. Delta Emerald is not likely at all as a result of the Delta Episode. Also, I'm impartial on the though of Gen I/Gen IV remakes. I wouldn't put it past Nintendo as they love just mixing things up on us.
  3. I'm no spriter or coder, but I'm creative-ish at times so I'll try to come up with some interesting and unique Fakemons and NPCs. I'll probably send you fellas a message or two at the end of the week with a few ideas contained.
  4. It's a real shame that most of my favorite characters are guys and I'm not into guys... kinda limits my options a tad. Otherwise, you can bet Cain would have been under Bed and Cal under Wed. Bed: Victoria- She's one of my favorite characters as a whole and she's fairly cute. Wed: Shelly (honestly we're not that far off in age, but I'd still wait until we were older)- To some she may come across as whiny, but come one, I lived in my older brother's shadow for years. I know how she feels. It's extremely hard to try to strike out and do your own thing and if you try then you tend to be doing something fairly similar to what they did and you still don't feel secure in yourself. I can't not love Shelly. She's loyal, compassionate, and, as a bonus, she appreciates the often times underrated Bug Type. Win-win-win. Behead: Blake- There's a difference between Fern and Blake. Blake is cooler, more sarcastic, and even though you wish Cal had pushed him off the mountain, he's still a fun character. Fern is just an absolute jerk. But on the bright side, Fern has loyalty to his family where Blake has none and Fern doesn't attempt to starve a town full of people. He may be a rude degenerate, but he's not the sort of guy to go out and cause other people's deaths. Blake, oh the other hand, does.
  5. I will point out that Kiki was supposed to give out Strength. Also, I honestly really want Taunt. It would help a ton when dealing with some of the crazy shenanigans the gym leaders and Meteors try to throw at us. Other than that... Dig. Dig would be great for mobility.
  6. In my latest run through, I must say that I have discovered a few interesting diamonds in the rough. Despite there being so many decent or better fire types in Reborn, one has truly come through for me time and time again. It is been none other than the lovely little Gen III Camel, Numel. Numel has an excellent level up moveset and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something blind. It gets the ability Simple, which alone is enough to turn even Biberal into a potential sweeper. If you have a Simple Numel, it will also become a Solid Rock Camerupt, which is, again, an excellent ability. But just look at Numel's learnset: Amnesia at level 19: when paired with Simple, allows you to boost to +4 Special Defense in a single turn. Lava Plume at level 22: this is essentially a Fire type equivalent of Scald. 80 BP, 30% Burn chance. But wait, there's more! Remember the Forest Field which Shelly and 2/3 of the PULSE Tangrowths use? Yeah, Lava Plume lights that on fire and further boosts it and prevents all sorts of annoying sweeps. Earth Power at level 26: How many Pokemon in the game can say that they gain access to one of their primary STAB moves which will continue to be used for the remainder of the game at a measly level 26? Very few fall into that category, but Numel is one of the chosen few. So by level 26, Numel has the majority of his moves to be used for the remainder of his lifespan on your team. I would recommend also making sure, using a Hidden Power calculator, that your Numel would acquire HP Grass for coverage. Then, Numel will truly be destroying all his foes.
  7. The power's out at my school. Oh goodie.

  8. I was at about 70 rep a few days ago and now here I am at 96. #thevinnyeffect

  9. Here's some more: A war game where you conquer alien worlds with gunpowder. That, my friends, is technological superiority. A simulation game where you organize crops and the sky isn't even the limit. "Sir...the wheat...it just keeps growing..." "May God have mercy on our souls." A strategy game where you wage war on castles with cow-boys. YEEEE-HAW A browser game where you avoid chocolate with your friends. Otherwise known as "Torture." A student project where you touch fanfic while wearing a top-hat. "I love your top-hat, Senpai." A real-time strategy game where you go to war with towers with friendship. "A present? All for me? Aw, you shouldn't have! I'll make it up to you. Here, you can have this tower." A shooting game where you shoot prisoners to avenge your girlfriend. "Death Sentence," coming is fall.
  10. Report II: Numel OP This is kinda a big update from my last check in. I ran around and caught quite a few new Pokemon, although I'm not sure how much usage they'll see. I have conquered the first two PULSE Tangrowths as well as Florina. It was actually fairly easy to do so. On the first Tangrowth, I used my Lotad (Felix) to activate the mist field to prevent Tangrowth from killing everything and then I sent in my Espurr (Marta) to set up a Light Screen and then spam Psybeam until she died. Then I simply sent in Braveheart the trusty Litleo to Nobel Roar and Work Up, then proceed to sweep. The Onyx Trainer's Svhool was a breeze with the only person before Fern/Florina that could slow me down being one annoying Youngster named Jojo who happened to get a flinch on every single Bite he used. And he exclusively used Bite. After surmounting that trial, I decided to go up against Fern and grind up a Pokemon or two, so I got my Grotle (Rachel) a few extra levels, brought my Numel (Reya) into the fold of trained up pokemon and moved onto Florina. Florina went down in an easy combo of Rachel, Reya, and Symphony the Kricketune. Another simple gym battle under my belt, I proceeded onto the second Tangrowth. Now, let me tell you something about Numel and the Forest Field. Lava Plume, already a Fire type equivalent of Scald, is learned by Numel at level twenty-two. Lava Plume also destroys the Forest field. This creates a burning field, which boosts Lava Plume by x1.5. This means 80BP x 1.5STAB x 1.5Field= 180 attack power at level twenty-two. Combine this with the fact that Numel starts in Reborn with Focus Energy and you have a serious sweeper on your hands. I also inserted my Numel's IVs into a Hidden Power calculator for curiosity and it turns out Reya would have HP Grass, giving awesome type coverage to destroy Water, Ground, and Rock types which would otherwise seek to destroy her. So yeah, Taka was easy. Currently, I am grinding up a few new members of my potential team against the Taka/ZEL double battle. I'll link a list of new/updated team members and box buddies below. New/Updated Memebers- Bee-utiful (lvl 19) Caught for completion's sake. Messiah (lvl 21) ---> Messiah is one of the Pokemon I tried to put some time into training, if only to clear away Corey's field and then to be offered up to the Helix Cult as sacrifice. Oddish (lvl 16) Caught for completion's sake. Natalie (lvl 17) I kinda like Venomoth, but only kinda. It's an interesting Pokemon though. Bellsprout (lvl 16) Caught for completion's sake. Onix (lvl 15) Obtained to have a Stealth Rocker. Inner Beauty (lvl 10) Mareep is a neat mon and I'll definitely train it up soon enough to replace or perhaps even augment Electrike. HoppinHips (lvl 10) I'm going to be honest: I don't really intend to ever use Jumpluff. It doesn't really suit my style. Felix (lvl 23) Felix won't be evolving until he gets Giga Drain at level 30. But hey, until then, he'll just be an adorable little duck lily pad. He does have Swift Swim, so if I end up making a Rain Team (which I probably will at some point) I'll throw him on there. Jesus (lvl 10) Walks and water and all that. More so just to complete the Pokedex. Makuhita (lvl 12) This little blob of chub is going to be one of the Pokemon I focus on training up soon enough because of the handy ability Guts and for having decent bulk and a fairly versatile move pool. Skit-Kat (lvl 15) I decided to run through the Coral Ward quickly and grab (almost) every event Pokemon there so the Skitty is. Reya (lvl 27) My little OP Camel! HappyHour (lvl 10) It's never a bad idea to have spare tanks in your box just in case you need to wall something. Yeah, we don't have Eviolite yet, but Blissey is still quite bulky and tanky on its own. Useless (lvl 5) Why use Pansear when you could use Numel or Litleo? Powerful Staraptor Pidove (lvl 10) Another generic bird. I'll stick with Bird Jesus for now, though. Swwaddle (lvl 17) I decided to go an catch a few bugs to bolster my pokedex. Shoot me. Scatterbug (lvl 21) I seriously need to evolve these little bugs... Swirlix (lvl 17) I couldn't think of any clever nickname for Swirlix that wasn't stupidly obvious. I did get it as Adamant with Unburden without a single Soft Reset though, which is relief since otherwise I would have needed to do then entire puzzle again. Badges- 2/18 Pokedex Progress: Seen-180 Owned-38 Verdict:
  11. Darkrai Power-Up Punch! Brutus Bonus Damage! It's a One-Hit KO! edit: oh any why do I break the chain? well that is because I decided this tomfoolery has continued long enough without my presence.
  12. A god game where you lead the rebels in space cities with tanks. Well gosh that sounds like a collaboration of most games. An experimental game where you reattach bits of tunnels metaphorically. Well metaphorically speaking, we could tunnel approximately 70 degrees to the north west to connect Gamma9 and Beta7. A shooting game where you cheer up cavemen on the Moon. Cheer up, man, At least you were advanced enough to get to the moon.
  13. Facing random scarf pokemon is rough...

  14. I am no grumpig. I'm just your average Author. How about BBD?
  15. Shinx doesn't get the Ability Plus. A Shieldon named "From Harm"
  16. Hmm. Have you tried Banner Saga? It's based off Norse Mythology and it is an interesting game that's kinda like Oregon Trail meets Fire Emblem.
  17. So both of the above were posting about Reborn, but I see you're talking about Rejuvination. Riolu will likely be added when Jan decides the trainer is worthy of its power, esspecially since Lucario has quite a strong level up moveset that allows it to either be special or physical with strong results either way. To answer your other question, NPC trainers are not as intelligent as players, so to even the playing field a tad, NPCs are allowed to have stronger Pokemon with more versatile moves.
  18. Well video games have helped and hurt me. There's no question that they have signifigantly effected me. Games were a big bonding point between my siblings and I and we always used to sit down and play some Star Wars: Battlefront or KOTOR or Mario Kart and we had tons of fun together. Games have taught me all sorts of valuable lessons about perseverence and even the daily grind of an average life. But of course, I would say I got very much *too* into video games, to the point where I got addicted to some and ended up giving into the urge to "Pay-to-Win" once. Sicne then, I have felt deep regret over the fact and vowed to not allow such simple urges to compel me. Games are fun and they ought to be played, not payed for repeatedly until you win. Also games sometimes cause me to loose focus on reality and that's kinda bad at points. I am working on finding a happy medium.
  19. That's definitely not correct. Contrary should reverse intimidate.
  20. Wth, all Braviary are supposed to be named USA!USA! and nothing else. You are bad and should feel bad. A Cherubi named "Divine Fruit."
