How would you feel if in Gen VII they retconned Bunnelby & Buneary to make them like Nidoran and just different genders of the same species? What is the best meme? Favourite Shiny sprite in the canon games? What about in Reborn?

What's your favourite genre of game? Favourite series, perhaps? Oh, and you used to love tacos loads, huh? Most important question is, of course, what was in the tacos?

I've got a bit of a cold, but I seem to always have a perpetual one throughout December, every year. No major health issues, thankfully. This is a hard one. Either the discussion(s) between Cain & Aya when they meet up, or probably that section RIGHT after the Radomus battle. Y'know, lights cut out, music stops... I'm very fond of that bit. And another one. I'm a pretty big fan of all of Glitch's music. Although the tracks I find myself listening to the most often when I'm doing uni work or whatever are actually some of the ward themes, particularly Obsidia, Beryl & Jasper. I think Obsidia is probably my favourite, so kudos to Ame for that one. Now that I'm off Uni, I'm tempted to take part in Redemption because I actually have time. Unfortunately, I royally suck at competitive battling. Just look at how I did in RCBA. After Reborn's finished... *shrugs*. I'll just continue my life as normal. Keep studying at Uni. Although I'll definitely stick around the community, because from what's been seen, Starlight Divide looks like my sorta game. So I'll be around to get hyped over that. I really like the Glitch Field. I think the idea is great, and it's the Field that I think makes you most think about adjusting your strategy to match it. Most fields I just do what I would normally do, to lesser or greater effect. Glitch Field I actively adjust my strategy to fit it, because if I don't, I'll end up seriously regretting it. I hate Ashen Beach & Murkwater Surface. Both simply because I have seriously struggled with Kiki & Swalot due to the boosts from their fields. Honestly, when I burn out on schoolwork, I work on Reborn. When I burn out on working on Reborn, I do schoolwork. I enjoy both a lot, so whenever I'm feeling productive, I just sorta alternate between the two so I don't get too burnt out with it all. That said, I also play PS4 and 3DS far more often than is probably reasonable, so that's probably an answer too :s

The latest game is Lost Valley, right? I've been considering getting that for a while, but don't know anyone else that plays the series. Totally using your recommendation as an excuse to go buy it. Also, I approve of your tea-making method and meme choice.

Alright, some of your answers to Alice's questions intrigued me enough to have me ask some follow ups of my own, even though I didn't ask the original questions. You say you like farming sims like Harvest Moon. I started with Friends of Mineral Town, and Harvest Moon DS is probably in the running for game I've had the highest playtime on, ever. But I just sorta burnt out and stopped playing after that. How are the more recent games in the series? Would you recommend? Is it bad that I prefer Seel to Dewgong? In what order do you make your tea? What is your favourite meme?

Other than Ame, are there any people who you first met on joining Reborn that are still here? Where did you learn to do stuff like making the move animations?

Alright, let's fly in and answer what I actaully have answers to! If I skip you, it probably means I'm just not in the know enough to respond. Whoops. Me. I mean, I have no idea exactly how much work Kuro and Dan have done in the past and are doing now and whatnot. But Ame is always working on something. I can't speak for anyone else, but I love being able to contribute to Reborn. After enjoying it so much, it's nice to be able to give back. Plus even though it can be difficult and frustrating, it's good fun and I've learnt some cool stuff. As for the hardest fix... Anything involving Status Moves, which apparently don't like to behave. Also I recall spending quite a while trying to get the whole 'Undiscovered mons with 3 perfect IVs' thing working. 5. That's not a bike. It's actually a Gen VII mon who's only moves are Bounce and Steamroller. 1. When they're together, Cain and Aya both shoot up to being my favourite characters, just because of their humour bouncing off of eachother. Otherwise, Noel has recently been growing on me. Although I'm potentially a big fan of Shade if he turns out how I think he will. 2. Who doesn't? 3. Unless other games have a Sirius in them... 4. What the hell is a physics? 1. As I said above, I'm rather fond of his character. Although I think if I knew him in person I'd probably find him a little bit much. 3. See above. 4. I mean, a lot of the stuff surrounding him is still in question because of the mysterious circumstances, but El. The vibe I get off of him is that he's rotten to the core, although we still don't know about his and Radomus' history, nor his past with Luna, or indeed where exactly he falls in with Meteor's views, and whether he will end up being more alligned with Solaris or Lin. But the feeling I get off him right now is a very bad one.

Honestly, I hadn't considered it like that. That the lower levels on Aces are perhaps signs of holding back rather than actual weaker pokemon. So thinking like that, Corey is the only leader we know for sure we've fought at full strength? It still doesn't sit quite right with me that he's so much weaker than every other leader for no discernable reason and still has his job. I mean, you could argue he held back with Crobat, given that it lasted basically your entire battle against Taka & ZEL against Heather's Salamence which is probably Level 100. Although I think is something you can reasonably accept as just happening without upping Crobat's levels, especially when he has no real reason to hold back. Eh, Corey may not sit right with me, but generally, your explanation seems to make way more sense than anything I came up with

True enough, and I imagine she'll remain tight lipped on the matter. Still, him being a Meteor agent should if anything give him STRONGER pokemon. I mean, c'mon, he WAS an Admin judging by the police discussions. Plus come on, he was a gym leader regardless. And he more or less wanted to kill you by the time of the battle, if he had stronger pokemon, he'd use 'em. And it feels weird if it just so happens he's one exception.

Whether the gym leaders are or aren't using their strongest mons is one of the few times I always just thought you had to sort of suspend your disbelief. I'm talking mainly about the times you team up with Shelly/Aya and their teams seem to be growing at a reasonable rate from when you battled them. Or, probably more important, Corey (And maybe Terra, if you want to assume they all have teams higher than her level?) Mainly Corey. If he had a stronger team, I think it's safe to say he would have used it, at least in the route where you rescue all the police. Because at that point it's not about a badge. Plus the emotional bond he had with all those pokemon. I'd say it's safe to say that's the extent of Corey's team, and seeing as it'd be weird to have one exception, all the leaders PROBABLY use their strongest team at the time of you battling. What I'm trying to say is, unless I'm missing something, it's probably best to not think of the connotations of how strong Rini & Julia have gotten.

If we want a more fair 12v12 battle, we have a few options if we had to fight, say, Lin & Sirius. I would love to team up with Taka. Hell, if Lin's power-hungry machinations become too at odds with the more religious side of Meteor's goals, I could even see Solaris or El temporarily helping us against her. Although I find it hard to tell where El would fall in regards to that. Aside from my wish of teaming up with Taka or Solaris, I'm gonna say I reckon a 6v12 against Lin seems unlikely. Mostly just because.. I dunno, Lin doesn't seem like she plays nice with others. I doubt she'd want to battle alongside anybody, she no doubt thinks she's MORE than capable of dealing with us herself.

I was having similar thoughts. I mean, even if Lin was given six Level 100s, including a Mega and probably a PULSE too, I think it would still be beatable with brute force and intelligence, whereas Solaris you sorta needed to be cheap. That said, I think it would still be perfectly fine to make it a battle you don't have to win. I mean, sure, you could PROBABLY fairly win against a team of full 100s now, but most people won't without some degree of planning beforehand. So while it perhaps won't be as 'impossible' as Solaris, I imagine if Ame wanted to put Lin in as an 'impossible' battle, it would no doubt work just fine.
