Y'know, this has been a pretty good year for me. I suppose you could call it a year of oppurtunities. The two main best things that come to mind are getting into do maths at university which, while said uni wasn't my first choice, I've ended up absolutely loving it and am so glad I ended up where I am. For so many reasons, though, the other is that I ended up on Pokemon Reborn's Dev team. So much good has come from that. I've met cool people (even if I still don't know them as well as I'd like :x), I've learned some useful skills, I've discovered a hobby which both challenges me and is fun, and probably most importantly, I just love the idea of being able to work on the game that I've already gotten so much enjoyment out of, and be a part of it. As for worst... Well, as I said, it's been a pretty good year. Some health issues from a few years back reared their head near the beginning of the year, but they were nipped in the bud early and I've been pretty great on the health front all year, other than getting the flu way too often. Otherwise I suppose it's just the feeling of regret I had that I had unfinished business with some of my friends that I didn't get to resolve before they moved away for university.

I can't speak for everyone, but if facing terrorists, I would be significantly more scared of them having 90% of pokemon than a gun. Even some of the weaker pokemon could probably royally fuck up a person. Basically anything that's not LC viable, and PLENTY of things that ARE LC viable, has potential to be a complete killing maching. tl;dr, they ARE armed. But not with something silly like guns. But with freaking monsters.

New Phone, a lot of chocolate, a menger sponge like N's, a keychain in the shape of the Ultima Weapon keyblade, and. Most importantly... I FINALLY GOT DISGAEA 5 Oh, and even though I won't get it for a few days, I'll be getting Story of Seasons when it comes out here as a late christmas gift.

Allrighty, so, as promised, it's been less than a month! Just. Although you'll be maybe happy to know I haven't just spent the ENTIRE ime since the last update not touching this. I spent the last few days levelling up all my team members to the same point so I could use whatever I want against Terra! Now, with the abundance of ice types I acquired, I decided to do something a little different as I venture into Terra-land. Namely, I've decided to make up my current team of all 5 of my ice types, as well as HOWDOIBLOCK? So I suppose this update, unless I fail miserably and have to get a more balanced team, will be the adventures of the Forst Five! As usual, Samson & Ciel are a hilarious duo. I wish we got to see a lot more of the pair, expecially Ciel. I really like her character, but not that much happens with her at current. Samson: We were just discussing the possibility of you being a member of Team Meteor. Terra: u wot m7 LEWL THAT'S THE BEST THING I'VE HEARD ALL THIRY SECONDS Ciel: So it's not true, right? Terra: RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWR!!!! what are we talkin bout again lol Ciel: You're not a member of Team Meteor, right? Terra: well duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 'course i am, betchez I just felt like transcribing that little bit because my inner childishness is amused by Terra's antics. Also, watching this and other scenes brings a thought to mind: What exactly IS the relationship between Terra & Ciel? I mean, I always just figured they were friends and Terra was being Terra, but she's awful persistent about it. Is there, perhaps, meant to be some kind of implication that Terra and Ciel really are an item? It's a thought I've had in the back of my mind, although it's probably just me missing out on the subtleties of what is either just teasing or an actual relationship. Oh yeah, I also literally cracked up in my first playthrough when I got to this part and Samson calls Terra out for trying to give Batman's backstory. It's still funny. Also JACK OFF! EXECUTE! Y'know, instead of Jack in. Also amusing. And reminding me I should replay the Megaman Battle Network games. Although now i've gone off topic. It's time to venture into the computer world which, if I remember correctly, means at least one guarunteed new team member! Oooh, but first, even though I very nearly missed it, the gym machine is back online now Terra went into the computer. Which means a brief chat with Ame about Terra. Nothing rea special here, Ame mentions she never liked Terra. After that, it's just an explanation o the Glitch Field. So I guess this means onwards! To Terraland! This Gen I music makes me happy. Especially because I heard a lot of it recently at Symphonic Evolutions. Even though I started pokemon with Gen II, the Gen I music really holds a special place in my heart. Now, I do love both the Glitch Field and of course the building of the computer world, I think it's just brilliant. Although I noticed one of the trainers in Mt. b00ty had a farfetch'd, which seems a little out of place among everyone else's Gen I mons, but whatever. The trainers and wild mons aren't posing any problem just yet. But there's a little more to come before Terra, of course. Also it took me way to long to realise why HOWDOIBLOCK?'s Dual Chop was doing nearly no damage. Whoops. I should pay more attention to the things. But apparently Dual Chop is still just a LITTLE too strong to weaken a Shiny Zubat. So, uhh... There's a potential team member gone ;_; Luckily, literally the next battle after that is a much more succesful new member! So we should give a warm welcome to ERROL the Patrat. Now I'm going to write down what the diary in the pokemon mansion says, mostly for reference as is with a lot of what I write down: 'hee hee! this is fun! i can see everything from here! and i can make everybody play with me! it's all thanks to baby arceus! i'm going to make sure i repay him by setting him free! then we can all live in the new world together and have lots of fun forever and ever!' Because that isn't at least a little creepy. Also not 100% sold that was written by Terra. Time will tell, I suppose. In other news, our guarunteed team member joined! So everyone, welcome genwun5ever, the Porygon! Y'know, given these are 100% Shiny, SOME people might abuse this oppurtunity to stock up on Shinies or something. And with that we also welcome our next 5 team members 'AllYourBase', 'All my base?', 'YesYourBase', 'I have base?', & 'BttryBiscuit' Also the voice in Glitch Astrae: ???: Hee hee hee~ This is fun... But come back and play again sometime, okay? After this we get a brief view of what appears to be a glitch version of Reborn's victory road. Liking the gears. Now, however, it's time for the interesting stuff. Namely an actual battle. So, I guess it's time for a proper debut from the Forst Five! Team Vs. Mewtwo Mystery Lv 71 moar ice pls Lv73 Bauble Lv71 Brainfreeze Lv71 NotEnoughIce Lv71 HOWDOIBLOCK? Lv74 Alrighty, so afaik, while Dark MOVES lose their type, Dark mons don't. Hence opening with Mystery. Being immune to psychich is going to be one hell of a boon. 1n!taliz3 .b//////attl3 Or not. Two Thunderbolts and I'm down, and Mystery had no real firepower to speak of. Jumping straight into a Heavy, moar ice pls starts to fling Blizzards, also nothing happening. And, uhh... Long story short, I died pretty fast. Attempt 2 I open up with Brainfreeze to try and got off an Icy Wind or two so Mewtwo doesn't completely outspeed everything I have. Long story short, Brainfreeze can' take a psystrike, so that attempt goes about as well as the first. After a couple more tries, I uhh... Well, I think the Frost Five have already met their match. In hindsight, they probably weren't the smartest idea... Time to build a more balanced Mewtwo fighting squad! And after a bit of training up a new addition and thanking my lucky stars I had two Link Stones...I think we have one hell of a team prepared. Team Vs Mewtwo, Second Try I have base? Lv70 Brainfreeze Lv71 Jackie Pan Lv70 Mozilla Lv72 Jalapeno? Lv71 Pearl Lv71 Now, I have base? turned out to be one HELL of a lucky catch. 31 Sp.Atk IV AND Modest so it'll hit like a truck. Not to metion take hits like one while I'm in the computer. Alright, so Mewtwo isn't smart enough to open with Psystrike, and instead attacks I have base? on it's MUCH stronger special defense, leaving me able to get off a Tri attack, burning the legend in the process. I try to go for a Hyper Beam next, but it seems like Mewtwo wised up and went for Psystrike this time. Jumping straight into Jackie Pan, I manage to do a fair amount of damage before falling, and then a Fire Blast from Mozilla finishes things off. That burn was really useful to me. Now I'll rejiggle my team al ittle before Terra, less focus on Dark Types, but generally, I'm liking it where it stands. So, without further ado, let the battle we've all been waiting for begin! Team Vs. M3G4 T3RR4 I have base? Lv71 Brainfreeze Lv71 Mozilla Lv72 HOWDOIBLOCK? Lv74 Pearl Lv71 Peach Lv71 Wait, the pre battle message is definitely different to when I first battled her. There's no Sudden segue to battle. No anne r key... Although these new lines are rather funny too. I wonder why Ame would rewrite the lines when she hates writing Terra so much? For reference: 'AH! I HEARD ABOUT YOU, Azeael! I AM T3RR4, THEY CALL ME THE CIEL TAMER HAD THAT B!TCH ON HER KNEES, COVERED IN KETCHUP. CUZ IMMA K1K UR 4$$ 000000000000000000' Annnnyway, the battle opened with I have base? forcing Terra to waste all her Hyper potions on Giovanni by having Tri-Attack do JUST the right amount of damage. Plus lucky freeze. HOWDOIBLOCK? dealt with Excakill in one Dynamic Punch. Brainfreeze took down Clayboybunny & Hiphopappotamus with ease. Peach Giga Drained Swagsire. And then Rawrchomp took down Team member after team member. All I had left was Peach, a mon with only Grass Moves. And after such a brilliant takedown of the first five mons... I turtled the hell out of it. Leech Seed and Ultra potions where my friends, and I came out victorious! And with that, I'll leave the update here. Put it on hold and pour it's resources into a Pokemon Conquest 2. Because while I love the main series games a lot, I loved Conquest SO much. It was my favourite game for a very long while. I think the closest you could say I come to a 'ragequit' in the development process is if I'm struggling to fix something and I run out of ideas, I'll often just go to sleep to clear my head. Although I think that's less ragequitting and more the fact that I work on Reborn really late at night (I seem to have made a habit of STARTING my bugfixing at midnight. Whoops :x) and if I get too tired my productivity is completely shot. With regards to playthroughs, I struggled way more than I'd like to admit with PULSE Swalot. Was getting ready to throw in the towel before I decided to change the field on a whim, and that really worked out for me.

I have to admit, that's not something I've ever considered. Mr. Mime I believe WAS confirmed as the barrier. Even if, for the sake of argument, we treat Mr. Mime as pure Psychic and say PULSE-able mons need to be single-type, while we never fought it, I believe you're forgetting Camerupt from Pyrous Mountain. While the machine itself was sabotaged, no reason to think it wouldn't work, and Camerupt are Ground/Fire. I imagine the main reason most PULSE mons are single type is that Ame wanted to use less competitively viable mons for it otherwhise they'd be too stronk, and more of said mons seem to only have one type. Still, not something I'd ever noticed.

Diancie & Swanna. That is all. 5 Swanna and a M. Diancie. Nothing else compares. Still salty that Ciel didn't get Swanna, super graceful AND flying type. But what if the bear was made of rocks? My closest friends, those being the ones I've mentioned it to, aren't really into pokemon that much. So they're glad I'm doing something I enjoy with my free time but that's about the extent of it. Maybe it's because I'm English, but I've seen peanut butter like once in my life. I don't think it's that much of a thing here. The idea sounds sorta nasty, ngl.

Pretty sure the ONLY person I tease on here is Dan. All the other people I talk to tend to not have much teasing in the picture. Except it's not teasing and Dan really does have me locked in his basement pls send halp.

While I hate bursting bubbles, I noticed something like that a while ago, so I scoured through all the previous releases of Reborn I have downloaded. The order of the badges in the Graphics folder after the obtained one seems to be randomised each release.
