You could always change the time on your PC - do the event - and change it back again. That's what I've been doing and so far, things weren't screwed up at all.

If you're talking about Power Anklets/Bracelets etc, yes. For example, if a Pokemon is holding a Power Belt which adds 4 EV points to Defense, it will gain 4 EVs in Defense no matter what Pokemon it defeats - in addition to the EVs the Pokemon gives originally.

Uh... if you're talking about the really crazy Tauros running about - it only appears after you defeat Radomus.

Head on to the Grand Hall, and find a certain 'swag jockey' - then continue on from there. Pay attention to the dialogue as if you don't, you could get stuck again on where to go.

PULSE Swalot was pretty difficult for me because EQ doesn't work on it iirc, and I only had Meowstic to hit it with super effective damage
