    Random question. Has anyone here had kalimari and could you recommend it?

      Yes but I can see it not being for everyone.  It’s really good but has a weird somewhat tough texture.

      In my life I can recall trying Calamari, baked Squid, baked Octopus, Takoyaki, Ika nagiri, and Tako nagiri.

      If calamari is well made, which means not baked too much, which makes it get rubbery in texture, and accompanied with some lemon juice and a nice salad, it's truly great. 

      Not as great as octopus, but tastes really well.
