Hmm, let's see which ones I can remember: -Dugtrio is just three Digletts. -Dodrio is just one Doduo and a half. -Electrode is an upside down Voltorb with a beard. -Exeggutor is a palm tree (I like Exeggutor, but evolution-wise it makes little sense). -Vanilluxe is just two Vanillish. -Lickilicky is ugly and more de-volved than evolved. -Rhyperior is dumb and ugly. Good pokemon, but still. -Prinplup is ugly. -Combusken is... lol. -Dragonite is not even nearly as beautiful as Dragonair; don't get me wrong, Dragonite is one of my fav dragons, but it doesn't retain the beauty and elegance from its pre-evolution. -Dunsparce doesn't evolve. -Same for Farfetch'd. -Rampardos is ugly. -Hitmontop is ugly at least when compared to its brethren. Same for Tyrogue. -Aromatisse is the worst fairy and yet you have to TRADE something in exchange for it. Not only that but the person who trades it to you has to bother giving it a sack full of shit perfume or something. -Raticate loses almost everything that made ratatta interesting, namely the purple color. Instead, is just....a rat. -Dewgong is beautiful, why the heck did we need seel before it? -Kingler is so much different from krabby... -Octillery kinda doesn't make sense evolution-wise, but oh well I'll go with it. Is not a bad pokemon. -Ambipom is just two Poms. -Magnezone is alright, kinda. The only thing that I never liked about him is that silly yellow antenna. -All the simi-somethings. Gotta Hate'em all! Solaris is actually not a bad assumption, to be honest. I really don't think any gym leader need a mega on their teams, at least not for the official gym battle we get at the end of every new episode. Anyways, we have the whole PULSE mechanic, so maybe Solaris' garchomp will go PULSE instead of mega? That would hurt it or kill it though, and I don't think Solaris is the kind of villain who lets his pokemon die to a powering machine. Maybe Fern? Maybe he gets a sceptile or some bullshit and mega evolves it for the lols. My last choice would be one of the "fire" sisters: either Sapphira, who is pretty badass already and a mega dragon-type would fit her pretty well, or maybe Laura, who hasn't done anything yet (at least that I'm aware of). Or maybe we discover that Heather's pendant (was it a pendant?) has special properties that allows it to mega-evolve pokemon....and Heather has a salamence....lol

1.For two years, I think? Devil May Cry 1,3,4 and reboot, Metal Gear Solid and Pokémon, I haven't got time for more really. I want to try Portal 1 and 2 so bad tho. 2.Hack and Slash. 3.Nope. I can't really say a specific age people should or could start playing violent games: some young people have the mental preparation to do so, while some older people are more sensitive to violence and can't stand such games. I think it depends on the person.

I like that corruption right there, I always liked impossible battles in pokemon, plus Ame has prepared me well for this moment (she has prepared us all!). The only thing I don't get is the dread plate. Was it because the battle against that Arceus is supposed to make me feel dread, or does it hold a dread plate for an strategic purpose? Well regardless of that, granted, there's now a mega arceus. Is quite broken, I'd say. It has a new ability that makes it so that it can never faint, so now all pokemon battles (both in game and competitive) are deemed nonsensical. Plus, in each new pokemon game, Arceus holding its mega-stone is the only pokemon given to the player from the start of his/her/xer adventure, as a metaphor of "God's strength is with you" or whatever. Because of this, people starts losing interest in the games since they can beat everyone in one turn, and the whole pokemon franchise comes to an end. I wish I could go back in time two hours and tell myself from the past to make sure the pizza wasn't still a bit frozen inside before eating it.

Granted. However, I pass the legitimate right to corrupt your wish to laggless whenever he comes around here, free from all charges and therefore, it will be possible (and most likely)that it will contain pencil-sharpener related shenanigans. I wish Arceus was actually the most powerful pokemon possible, I mean, that it had literally every stat at 255, and an ability that could ignore accuracy, evasion and immunities, while also giving it STAB for any attack used.

I haven't played XY by myself and thus I don't have a base to actually argue wether the gameplay is good or not (I've only watched let's-plays so far), but I don't share that opinion about the pokemon of this gen at all. I'll give it to you that the story is quite not that good if we are trying to set the bar with reborn's story; but then again, practically all, if not all, of the main series games' stories are beaten by reborn, like, ASAP. And well mentioned by Sapphire, there's that kind of genocidistic plot for team flare: I mean the guys are basically attempting to kill everyone who's not with them. Despite Lysandre's fetish obsession with beauty and stuff....yeah, killing everyone who's not on your side has always been a decent villain plot in my book. But it is not just about hugging trees either. Actually if it was about hugging trees, you'd have to hug Trevenants, thing that not only would be kinda awesome, but you can sort of do already with Amie :3 ....anyway not the point. But about the pokemon, dunno if just me, but I don't see just a "bunch of cute little pokemon that can't do shit", and despite I could stay here talking hours about therms of artistic design and stuff, which is what I like the most about pokemon, I'll resume why I think you're wrong in a word: Greninja. It ain't cute, it's badass; it ain't little, it is almost human-sized; it ain't shit-doer, it...well, you know what greninja does, don't we all? And not just Greninja: Goodra for instance, it IS cute AND it can fuck your shit upside down, specially in a rain team (at least mine does). Also looks at Diggersby, Sylveon, Aegislash, Trevenant/Gourgeist, Klefki, Wyvern, and so on and on... I'll give you Dedenne, but even Dedenne has sometimes a role for nuzzle and stuff. PS: just ocurred to me but, now that I think of it, isn't a game ruining your life kinda improbable? I mean, the chances man, what are the chances?

Fennekin is my choice here. Is pretty useful in the early game. Not that much against Julia, but as mentioned by fireheart there sure are lots of poison types, so the psychic factor comes in handy. Also is a good addition against PULSE Tangrowth, Florinia, Corey/Aya as long as it doesn't get poisoned by the field, and in general is a good team member. The other one I picked was Froakie, but I never finished that run. We all know what Greninja does, so dunno I guess it's good. Contrary Snivy or Speed Boost Torchic are both pretty good as well, for their own reasons each.
