    Why do I keep going back to that story arc? I know it's gonna make me cry again…so why?

She was curious as to how Kindle and Hikaru came to meet but factions trying to recruit new members from freshly awakened magi was not exactly unheard of so it would be unwise to press on that issue, especially with the negotiations having already started the moment they made eye contact. "As for the Mr. Scraggly she's referring to, I honestly don't remember much about him. He didn't leave much of an impression to me. He was just some older-looking blond-haired mage in a dilapidated part of the city. Nothing more than that. "That being said, danger isn't something I'm all too worried about. All I was hired to do was to set up a meeting between you and Noriko in a neutral location. Nothing more beyond that."

    While Leivinia was listening to the others, she noticed that the vehicle was getting close enough to her destination that she could get there while taking a nice stroll to ponder certain things. She was fine walking the distance between where the vehicle was now and the barracks where she lived as a part of the AAS so she decided it would be fine to get off here. "Ah! Driver, would you mind pulling over? I would like to get off here." Shortly after saying that, the vehicle pulled over. "It was nice talking to you all. I'll see you later in the evening, then." She said with a friendly smile before getting off the vehicle. As the vehicle pulled away, she began to walk at her own pace over to the barracks. "She probably would not remember somebody like me." She said to herself before clenching her fist. "But that's no reason to not chase after her." She re-affirmed to herself with a smile as she continued to walk.

    Luck. That was all she was given. In the end, it did not answer the part of the question she really wanted to hear answers about: why the goddesses were even here. However, Sion felt it was not in her right to question a reincarnated goddess. There were too many questions she had and in the end, she honestly felt that any courage she had mustered to ask any more questions had fallen flat. So, she just watched.

    "Yeah. Seeing as the admiral is her older brother, there might be a chance that I might get to meet her again." Leivinia fidgeted her hands as she spoke. "I wonder if she'll remember the girl who was following her around on Ruwella." She looked back at her hands. "After I joined the TSAB after her suggestion, I found out how famous she is. I doubt she'd remember someone like me." Leivinia looked back at the others. "What about you guys? What kind of reasons did you have for joining this task force?"

    It seemed Liliana was curious about who she was referring to. Leivinia was a bit embarrassed to bring it up but these people would be working with her so it was probably best to not keep things hidden. "Her name is Fate Testarossa-Harlaown. I met her a few years ago when she came to Ruwella to investigate an incident that was going on there."

    As for Adlet dying…depends on how the anime producers want to adapt this. I would not say it's impossible seeing as episode 12 is the final episode but seeing as that scene was adapted, I have my doubts that they'll kill Adlet off. Besides, MCs have suffered worse and gotten away with it.

    Leivinia was going to answer Dave's question about who she wanted to stand face-to-face with but the conversation seemed to careen into a completely different field as the others began to criticize each other. "Now, now, guys." She waved her hands around in front of her in a panic as if to draw attention to her. "We're going to have to work together in a group anyway so we should try and get along, right?"

    The oldest one just got called out for being juvenile. XD Aside from the time Leivinia got kidnapped by child traffickers, she's lived a pretty privileged life where food was never a concern. But that's a story for another day. Plus, she's kinda been a member of the TSAB for a few years so she already expects the accommodations~
