Using Blastoise might be a mistake because it forces the team in the UU tier, which has too many (borderline broken) threats for a team like this to work... Use Eviolite Wartotle instead anf you have a fairly good NU team, with much better chances of working in that tier...

If you don't take any step, level up or take it to the saloon, you need 33 EV-reducing berries in order to get enough happiness for it to evolve, acc to my calculations.

I have a Sp. Def Umbreon in Reborn. It's hard to train up since he has to rely on Toxic to stall out an opponent, but he can take hits for days.
