  1. Yeah, I would never do it in my main save file. But just to check the changes being made to gym leader battles I made another save file, in which I cheated -a little, only with the money. You know, the game would become too boring. Just like playing Ocarina of Time with a guide. It's boring, you just need to go along...
  2. I like Vero the most, although if the backsprite was more accurated I think it'd be even better.
  3. Crystal: Probably Ampharos, I can't remember it clearly. Ruby: Breloom. Colosseum: Misdreavus. Reborn: Pachirisu and Noctowl.
  4. +1000!!! Totally agree with all of that! If you haven't been careful enough and you have an overlevelled pokemon, deal with that! specially in the first gyms...
  5. Things that should be done (in my opinion): - Faster surfing. - Faster ice sliding. - High level leaders (or elite 4) with more than 6 pokemon (I got this bright idea fighting against Aster&Eclipse without Aya). ... - Name the female trainer in the fire gym as Azula and the young male as Zuko (since Iroh is already there) The pun would be completed.
  6. Hardest: Aya (Noel in the 2nd place). Easiest: Shelly.
  7. OH YES! Someone else with the same problem as me! http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9712
  8. My first two pokemon were Swampert and Golem, both with earthquake. Both her Typhlosion and Ninetales used Solar Beam against my Golem (I sirvived the first thanks to Sturdy), but then Swampert's earthquake was ready to kill the two of them. It did not affect its partner because it was levitating (Flygon). Then I proceeded to earthquake with Swampert every turn until all Charlotte's team was sweeped, except for Rotom and Volcarona. Flygon was using Hyper Potions on Swampert or itself at almost every turn, but in the last one used Rock Slide to defeat Charlotte's two last pokemon. For me, this has ben one of the easiest gym battles in the game, along with Julia, Radomus and Samson (I beated them at the first try). PD: If you're curious, all my pokemon were at level 69 (although Swampert and Flygon turned 70 in battle). That was because I had to take out Aster and Eclipse without Aya, so I had to level up a bit.

    Level caps

Yeah, but I mean, you'll know that you won't get the badge even BEFORE fighting against her. Isn't that a spoiler-thingie?

    Level caps

In the trainer card, now you can see your level cap. What's more, you can see ALL the level caps up to Charlotte, no matter what point of the game you're in. I was wondering if that wouldn't be quite an spoiler, specially for Kiki's... issue. I mean, the guy that usually tells you things about the leaders, says that Kiki's badge won't raise your level cap, but instead you'll be able to use surf. Well, if you look to your trainer card at that point, you'll see that the next badge you'll get will actually raise your level cap (in fact, the badge that won't is actually further ahead in the game), meaning that the guy is lying or that you won't get Kiki's badge (although yes, we know about her death beforehand, but hey, at least we could have a liiiittle hope left...). Does anyone agree with that?
  11. Yeah, I think exactly the same. I don't know, announce the name of every episode whan it begins, or in the title screen, where it now says "Episode 13: Cascade", could be the name of the episode you're currently in... In that case I guess I see a problem though, as the savefile does not affect that screen (as long as I'm concerned).
  12. Great episode! Although the great weakness of the whole leader's team to certain type made the battle quite easy... By the way, is it just me or sliding on the ice is veeery slow? It'd be cool if it was faster (like in the oficial games). And surfing could be a little bit faster as well... Just a suggestion ^^ EDIT: Ah, if you enter the icy zones running, the first move is faster. But then the following ones are quite slower...
  13. You have to draw them in half resolution, then resize the sprites to the resolution they were at first. Also, try to think where the light would come from and draw the shadows according to it (for example, there's not any trace of shadows on the gloves).
  14. Well I'll vote Secundum since she's the only one who exposed a list of good reasons for it! ^^
  15. As Freya said, practise with the proportions. Even if it's a chibi, some parts like the hands, or the shoulders, need to follow certain proportions. Drawing chibis is harder than usually thought, and practising with both realistic and manga styles really helps you to improve. Another thing: if you have to draw straight lines, use a ruler xD It may seem obvious, but the difference of using it or not is huge, specially when you're a beginner. By the way, did you scan it directly from the pencil drawing? I would recommend doing the lineart before scanning, and make the lines thicker or thinner depending of the perspective, that will add a lot of volume to your drawing... Well, this comment was expected to be a constructive critique, I hope it helped! The drawing is nice, considering that you're quite new in it!! ^^
  16. You could put the gates in the city not as checkpoints, aka invisible. I mean, one problem you mentioned with the city gates is that it would be less "connected". I think that if you put a gate, but without a building, just like the end of a map, it would be just like the same. If the previous map still has the visible part of the next, I think it won't give the impressin of a "cut" map... I don't know if I'm being clear enough...
  17. Fighting against that very trainer: Mini-mega-blastoise? WTF? xDDDDDD
  18. I totally agree with Foamy and Jericho. I mean, I am completely aware that I constantly make mistakes in English (since it's not my first language, not even my second one), but I always try to do my best when writing something. In my first language, sentences tend to be very long and with lots of subordinate clauses, but when I write here I try to shorten them in order to adapt to the English language, which typically uses shorter sentences separated with stops. What do I mean with all these things? The main purpose of a post is making people understand something you want to transmit. If English-speakers have trouble reading your posts, imagine people whose first language is not English (like me). You are not writing the posts for you, but for other people who is going to read them. My point is that making a well-structured and punctuated post is not that difficult (and specially for an English speaker, which is probably your case, given your location). And it's not only important here, but everywhere. I don't know, it's just my opinion, I don't pretend to be rude.
  19. That's because the bouffalants don't destroy the logs, they just push them. You'll probably need a pinsir... is there any honey tree nearby?
  20. I don't think it's an accident. If whatever makes people sleepy is transmitted by radio, just some simple ear plugs would make you immune to it (or not having brain at all, just like Terra).
  21. But they would share many weaknesses, specially to Surf, Surf, Surf and Surf endlessly xD
  22. Or imagine Terra + Ciel. Terra's pokemon could always use earthquake and it would never affect their partners...
  23. Just curious, anyone has the ep.9 pickup table?
