  1. I really think that we won't be getting a rise of 10 levels on the cap (5 at most). If you do the little maths, at this rhythm we would have to be more than lvl100 at the end of the game. And since we will have to battle more than one leader per episode, a double battle againt TWO leaders with 6 pokemon each would be really cool. That would definitely be challenging (Amy and Tania? xDDD)
  2. They are transmitting it (whatever the cause of sleep is) by radio, so I don't think it's any kind of powder...
  3. And what about a jigglypuff? I mean, they are transmitting the signal through radio waves... couldn't it be a jigglypuff singing? (although it's true that we "heard" nothing in agate...)
  4. I strongly disagree with that. I don't think ZEL is too strong at all. Not with a good strategy. ZEL is tough, yes, but beatable. And battles like that make the game, at least for me, more interesting. I kicked ZEL and Taka's teams just with combusken and kricketune... and I did not grind more than with the trainers I was forced to battle (level 25-30, I guess). Kricketune took out umbreon, espeon, tangrowth and chatot with fury cutter, and combusken beated lileep with double kick and glaceon with ember. That's all.
  5. Same here, now it's getting quiiite weird.
  6. Wow, I didn't know that. Nevermind then. Thanks!
  7. Just one little observation (maybe nonsense ._.). Anyone knows who is the blue-haired guy that appears in the intro? AKA this guy I have seen that some of you say that Amaria won't die because there's no other water-type trainer to take up her rol. Well, from all the characters that appear in the intro of the game, we (or at least me), know everyone except for this guy and the shadow one (not Shade, but the shadow). There's another freaky guy, but could be Radomus. So... who might this guy be? Anyone knows it? PS: Sorry for my English XP
  8. Really I didn't train at all between Noel and Radomus (only the unavoidable trainer battles), and still beated him pretty easily. Same between Radomus and Luna. For Samson I must admit I've been quite lucky (I got two "over 9000" bounces with rapidash killing his ace, and the rest were defeated using psycho-cuts of my sword-danced gallade). I don't know, but compared to Florinia, Corey, Aya, Noel... (they made me have NIGHTMARES) these last leaders have just been easier, and I think that it's because we are beginning to have a "too good" movepool. And I haven't breed, or EV trained at all... just catching pokemon I find and rising them using only trainer battles. Ame, please, if you read this, be evil. Design evil teams for the remaining leaders. We will be happy for it (I guess... xD).
  9. I think it's better the way it is now. If you think about it, now we have (quite) a wide range of pokemon we can choose for our teams. The leaders won't be as difficult as they were at the beginning of the game, because we have more diversity of pokemons to catch and train (and more time for having done so, and letting them learn good moves). If you add the good TMs... I think leaders would be far too easy (or they would have legendaries and use max. revives in battle...). Just saying, since Radomus the leaders have been a piece of cake, and I don't like that xD Sorry for my bad english OTL
  10. Someone will be very happy with the last one xD

Wow, this is what I call a good analysis! Thank you very much! I will make sure to take all these recommendations in account.

Great, I think this was really a good idea. I'll get and train one as soon as possible. It'll be (sadly T_T) in breloom's place as the plant-thingie. And I'll cover the fighting-type gap with the upcoming gallade (checking his moveset, I'm starting to think that lucario is not very useful either...). Thanks again for the help!!

Don't worry about that! I really needed someone giving me a little heads-up about this I also loved breloom too back when I played ruby but oh man, it's far more difficult to get a strong one in this game (at least for me). Well thanks for the link!!

Uh... all right hahahahahaha So yeah... I thought Luna was pretty easy. The only two leaders I had problems with were Aya, and the normal-type boy (well, only with his Cinccino). But I totally agree with you, my moveset is quite wrong, but I don't really know what I want them to learn (that's why I made this topic, to see if anyone could come with some good advice). Anyway, I kind of knew nothing about the nature stuff, so thanks anyway! (I really never needed to in the official games till fire red, that is the last I played). PS: As with breloom, I catched it long ago but I began training it just now, so basically it was a shroomish leveled from lvl34 (I guess) to 37, so it could learn giga drain. Apart from that, I just made him learn sky uppercut, I haven't really changed anything else. EDIT: All this answer over here was for gutten_tag, I hadn't seen the other reply. Ukyn1993 I'll read yours now (thanks in advanced! ) EDIT2: Ukyn1993 thanks for your answer! I'll try to do this process with all the pokemons in my team...

Thanks! Talking about natures... any in particular that would be ok for some of my pokemons? To be honest I don't really know how all this nature stuff works... Edit: nature of the pokemon listed above -Rapidash: Bashful -Cofagrigus: Serious -Noctowl: Naughty -Pachirisu: Timid -Lucario: Naughty -Swampert: Lonely -Golem: Naive -Typhlosion: Careful -Breloom: Timid -Spiritomb: Timid -Trapinch: Impish -Ralts: Impish (future Gallade I guess, I'll see if I can get a Modest one for Gardevoir)

So yeah... although I have played pokemon for many years now I don't still have the vast knowledge I see around here... xD So I was wondering if you could give me some advice about my team (now that I have beaten version 11 and have pretty much spare time for training other alternatives). Main team: - Rapidash lvl60 (Flare Blitz, Bounce, Inferno, Fire Blast) - I know, maybe too fiery... - Cofagrigus lvl57 (Shadow Ball, Will-O-Wisp, Destiny Bond, Curse) - Noctowl lvl56 (Extrasensory, Shadow Ball, Uproar, Air Slash) - Pachirisu lvl57 (Discharge, Hyper Fang, Sweet Kiss, Super Fang) - Lucario lvl60 (Aura Sphere, Close Combat, Shadow Ball, Dragon Pulse) - Swampert lvl50 (Earthquake, Protect, Take Down, Hydro Pump) Other stuff (some in process): - Golem lvl58 (Rollout, Explosion, Earthquake, Strength) - Typhlosion lvl60 (Rock Smash, Lava Plume, Smoke Screen, Flamethrower) - Breloom lvl37 (Giga Drain, Leech Seed, Sky Uppercut, Mind Reader) - Spiritomb lvl30 (Feint Attack, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Shadow Ball) - Recently captured, planned to be Cofagrigus' substitute soon. - Trapinch lvl20 - I'm not even putting its movements because my intention is to evolve it in a Flygon... so it probably won't keep any of its current attacks. - Ralts lvl1 - Do you recommend me evolving this to Gardevoir or to Gallade? Or both? xD (I could train another Ralts).
  17. ok thanks! (I guess I talked to him before leaving the building) anyway, I have already lost the only two fossils I have... I'll see if I can get more
  18. Yup, I did, but they die anyway...
  19. So I brought two fossils to the guy in spinel town, but he says that, although he could revive it, it died. I'm just before the fight with the normal type leader, am I doing something wrong? is it too soon to get the fossils? If I'm not wrong I had the one for kabuto and the one for lileep. Thanks!!
