Thanks for the new update!! Just a thing: route 2 is, for me, exactly as laggy as it was before (even back in ep. 13). It does not bother me, but I was just saying that the lag has not reduced, at least in the first part of the puzzle
-
Yes, you can go through the whole route 1 with one Tauros. I can confirm it... and I can also confirm that the path is a little tricky xP
-
Yup, well I was just suggesting the style, not this music specifically. Probably this wouldn't fit either, but it's the first thing that came to my mind that was close enough to what I wanted to say...
-
Yeah, exactly. It gives the feeling that some disaster has happened. It could also fit in some kind of open-air ancient ruins or so... It definitely gives me the impression of a desolated place (to me, it reeeally sounded like this, which is the music for overrun villages in FFVII). It's true that doesn't fit Spinel that well, but the new one, for me, doesn't fit either (and the original was more beautiful...). For me, Spinel should have a music transmitting the feeling of "what the hell is going on here?!" The only thing that comes to my mind now would be something like this... I know it's not the best example though. Anyway, I'd like to hear the original in some other place in the game ^^
-
I agree with thatoneguy666... the new Spinel Town music doesn't suit it as well as it did. I mean, the new one, for me, would be good for a town in a desert/rocky mountain. The previous one was good for a desolated place... maybe Spinel town is not that desolated, but for me it was better than this one. And the music was really beautiful too. Anyway, that's my opinion... Apparently, it has been removed (or at least I cannot find it since the file with the old title is the new music).

Hahahahaha that would be actually very funny! xD And, why level 69? Were we "supposed" to beat Terra before Charlotte? (of course not, by means of story, but in the league rules?) I don't understand... (unless it was a joke)

Today I was thinking about it, and I got 3 ideas that, for me, would make the gym leader battles (much) better. I presume that changes such as these are not of first importance but hey, just saying... 1. Make their ace shiny. It would stand out among the other pokemon... so we know we're doomed (xD) 2. Preset the gender of the pokemon. That would give them more personality (and allow us to plan strategies involving infatuation...) 3. Change the music (or at least accelerate it) for the last pokemon. Just like in Unova gym battles. You know, that WAS epic. Well, what do you think?
-
Yup, but some of them were added in the early game just a few episodes ago (replacing other songs). I've only played through the story once, so I could have missed one of these. Of course, I could also have heard them and being unable to remember it.
-
Yeah... it really gave me chills when I first heard it. That Roxas battle is just too epic. I personally don't like 358/2 days that much. For me, the "good" game with roxas is KHII, although you only see him at the beginning (and at the end if you're playing KHIIFM... where "The Other Promise" track plays). I've listened to all of the tracks in reborn's "Audio" folder and there are others with some KH music in it, but oddly enough I don't recall them being in the game... maybe they were put recently instead of other tracks in the early game, idk...

Let's see: (haven't played X-2, XI, XIV) Best: VIII, X, XI Meh: VI, VII, IV, V Bad: XIII, XII, III Worst: II, I, XIII-2 So yeah, my favourite is VIII. Basically because I felt so identified with Squall. The rest of the characters or the music are not THAT good (there are better), but the main character and the story really absorbed me. Then X. I like almost everything from that game. Music, plot, environments, amazing cinematics, characters (except Tidus and Wakka). I really think that this is the masterpiece here. But I prefer VIII over it because of the reasons explained above... IX. Really good. The last "classical" Final Fantasy that combines everything good from the previous games. At first it may seem childish, but the story soon changes to a very different perspective. Final Fantasy VI and VII are quite even. I loved the music from VI (and the story, though predictable). VII, on the other hand, has a really unpredictable story, full of plot twists (and hard to understand until you have beated the game like... 3 times at least -that's its weak point). V has a really good OST, but apart from that, I didn't find that the story was remarkable in any way. III is the same but without such a good OST (still nice though). XIII and XII have a battle system that I don't precisely like. But the music is generally pretty good... II and I are, for me, very tedious and repetitive... and XIII-2 is just STUPID.

I dream about it every night.

Whut?! Where?! o.o (you aren't counting the Pulse pokemons, are you?) PS: I do feel that if we now had megas the game would be far too easy. Maybe we "deserve" them, but hey, life is unfair (and that's cool sometimes!).
-
...unless, somehow... the other trainers have megas as well (and I say megas, I mean, somehow they'd be able to mega-evolve more than one pokemon in their team...). I would really expect leaders (and high meteors) mega-evolving pokemon in ep. 15 or 16.

WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY...............??? (falling in a pit of despair...)

Why would you want a black belt if you didn't go to class? I mean, you would know little about the martial art, so the belt would mean nothing...
-
Which style of karate were you practising? Oh, what a shame... I've usually heard that you actually start learning once you get the black belt... Well, kickboxing is technically a martial art... but it's in the competitive, sport-like lot. I have to say though that I prefer traditional martial arts!
-
Anyone practising any martial arts? Just curious, do you prefer 'traditional ones'? Or the ones focused on competition? I'm currently practising karate and kobudo (or 'studying', as my shihan loves to say), and I was wondering if anyone else did.

battles versus gym leaders and important trainers
Alaris replied to alaneapen's topic in Reborn City
Well, for Noel, I waited till it was sunny and then I proceeded to sweep most of his team with my Rapidash and Thyplosion fire attacks (and, well, Lucario for the Cinccino and Pachirisu for the birds). -
1. You could try asking in this topic: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=10938 2. I don't see how changing the nature of your pokemon affects the whole question at all. 3. There's a big tree in the labyrinth entrance from the route 1. Check that out.

battles versus gym leaders and important trainers
Alaris replied to alaneapen's topic in Reborn City
It depends on the leader... I've only swept Charlotte and Samson. With the others, I had to parafusion all the time. So, let's say, that I generally have a though time with the leaders (and I don't dislike that!), and therefore I have to use strategies that slowly (but surely) take them down.
