  1. I can't find ditto in goldenleaf town in v10. Talked to every NPC in town, did not find the ditto.

Few mons I have problems with getting: shuckle - smashed hundreds (if not thousands) of rocks for 4+ hours, found zero smeargle - I can't find any npc with trade offer in the art gallery milotic - I have no idea where to find the prism scale raltz - this event is added after I've gone past that point in the story in an older version, is it still possible to get? dewpider - I cannot find after an hour of surfing/fishing. Is the SPU quest something new added in V10? I completed all events/side quests in v9. confey - An hour of wild pokemon extermination at river's end, did not find one. Some notes: slowpoke - they roam on beach at night, and are NOT in the grass snorunt - available in route 11 ice caves sealeo i- found it as a rare encounter while surfing only in valor mountain. Zero spawns on land for an hour of extermination. petlil - requires using the weather board to set sunny weather. It is not found in the grass. turtonator - eventually found one while surfing on lava. Did not find one while killing stuff on land (but I only tried for 15 mins.) sawk/throh - after you get one of them from the event, you need to breed a copy, and trade that copy with a girl in the sherridan daycare to get the other.
  3. Sprite is there. Shota says you can use fly after getting his badge. Selecting on map does not work.
  4. So I bought the golden wings.... how do I use it? There is no "use" or "register" option when I select it
  5. You need that key item now I believe. Don't remember where I got it though.
  6. I cannot seem to find slowpokes. After an extermination campaign on route 5... I got 100k, and more heart scales/ability caps I can ever use from the pickup crew. Saw machoke and medicham once in a while, and caught a shiny nummel. Did not see a single slowpoke.
  7. At 350k a pop.. satisfying IV OCD takes.... a while. Pickup crew only generated about 50k for EV training a new mon fully.
  8. Quick claw with gabite earthquake will ohko it outright if quick claw triggers. If you grind HP and SpD to about 150 EVs each (do it south of vivian's tree), gabite will actually live the moon blast hit and OHKO back without needing the quick claw. (Using all your rare candies on gabite and pray he listen would also let you live the moonblast and OHKO with earthquake in return.)
  9. Replace the old files with everything that came int he patch. Save data is stored in completely different folder.
  10. Mine still disobey at 71.. and this is after beating charlotte.
  11. Mine was... diggersby -> earthquake. Everything cept the rotem gets ohko'd. 2x air slash from noivern dealt with the rotom.
  12. You can mine them, evo stones are at around 2% ish if I remember.
  13. The rock right above you is passable from the top side. The passage is accessible from the hole in the grand stairway.
  14. I had to use 2 ability capsules in a row to get the ability however. I could not get the ability from simply soft resetting with 1 capsule.

  16. Remember the field effect in the gym gives psychic rock type damage.
  17. you could just teach it to a regular team member (like your starter) if you don't mind loosing a moveslot much.
  18. You can't. Venepede is incompatible with swords dance.. so you can't breed it to scolipede.

  20. Fern finally decided to do something in the meteor boss battle. It was extremely easy though.. leech seed/rollout easily dealt with the meteors while fern's budew did nothing but growth. Due to only having one pokemon, quilladin reached lvl 21 before julia. Common candies won't be available in store until after julia, so I have to fight her with a disobedient quilladin. Between paralysis, ignoring orders, and -5 accuracy due to heliolisk, quilladin failed miserably to tackle julia on the first try. With lots of luck and 16 potions, quilladin pulled through on the second attempt. The battle mostly involved hoping quilladin would use leech seed, and use potions to stall out the sonic booms. After battle: Victoria before slums: rolled over with rollout. Cain at coral ward: more rollout Turns out I can't get pancham early... so this means soloing pulse tangrowth with quilladin... gulp. Fern (before florina): on attempt 17, quilladin haxed to victory by skillfully dodging 3 leaf tornados and ko'ing servine with rollout. Not being able to use leech seed hurts a lot. There's just no way to beat florina using just quilladin.. all the hax in the world still won't pull off that miracle. I think I might gring way up (to chestnaught) and live with the disobey to get past this. A disobedient chestnaught can't even beat the opening maractus... I had to change the rules to allow one pure fighting pokemon to make this remotely possible... This is the result: Team post battle: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Taka and the chatot- after 9 resets, hariyama finally didn't hit himself in the confusion and ohko'd the chatot instead with knock off. Taka and zel double battle - focus firing at zel's eeveelutions first, then setup belly drum on the lileep and sweep with hariyama. I deliberately kept quilladin's hp low and hariyama high so the chatot would attack quilladin instead of confusing hariyama. Much easier and less frustrating fight than the previous solo taka fight. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stuck at corey now. I don't know how to deal with the crobat. Finally beat corey after grinding to 35 and using my only hyper potion.
  21. Scraggy will be late, I won't go back to a previous episode. I think I can get a pancham instead though. ------------------------------------------------ First Fern battle: rollout rolled over him. 2hko on lotad, 2hko on snivy, ohko on budew. I don't know if it's because I only have 1 pokemon, or because of a ep12 change; but the factory battles are back to back singles now, instead of doubles with fern. Fern just follows me and do... absolutely nothing.
  22. I want to see the new pulse pokemon in EP 12, so time for a new playthrough. Doesn't seem like anyone did a fighting monotype yet, so here I go.. with a twist to make it a little harder. Rules: - Final evolution of the pokemon has to be a dual fighting type; no pure fighting types allowed. Only one pure fighting type allowed; all others need to be dual types* - The second typing for dual types have to be different for every party member. - Illegal pokemon for breeding purposes allowed, but they cannot be used for any trainer battle. - HM slave(s) allowed, to be kept at lvl 1 and not used for trainer battles. If it enters a trainer battle for any reason, that battle is count as lost and need to be re-done. - 5 main party members max. (6th slot will be for the HM slave, or left blank when HM slave is not required.) - No trading with other players, only use pokemon avaliable in current episode (12 as of now). - No Infernape/Blaziken... I want something more difficult. Note: soloing florina with quilladin is just flat out impossible... gauranteed loss nomatter what... so I had to add a second pokemon (a pure fighting type). ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For starter I picked chespin, tepig event would be avaliable much sooner than chespin event. Cain/Victoria: easy pushovers.. chespin has OP base defense. Here's the starter:
