What level s your phanphy? If it's not too much trouble, you coul catch one outside of Corey's Gym with Pickup. Pickup will be changed to Sturdy upon evolution.

I think Phanphy would be the better choice. My reasoning is because Sturdy lets it live a Super Effective attack (Dragalge/Tentacruel). You already got Electric coverage in Emolga. Also, your team is good, you got Scrafty and other good Pokemon. Good luck! Also, I think re battleable trainers in Grand Hall are available for training.

I would recommend using that Phanphy. As a Donphan it will gai Earthquake upon reaching lvl. 43. You can also have your Emolga out to Spread Paralysis or use Acrobatics. The rest of your team is looking nice. Oh! Donphan having sturdy would be VERY useful.

Yeah Snax are very useful id you use a Budew early in the game. Happiness is a pain in the butt to raise! Also, they are used to trigger many event Pokemon's events.

Glad to see you enjoyed your experience so far! Yeah Water-Starters are a struggle but they sure do pay off later. Shelly has an interesting battle. I've seen people who breeze through her and some who have trouble. Her team can definitely be scary depending on match-up. Radosmus had my favorite puzzle as well. And yassss Fly! See ya around!
