  1. ...Now that I think about it, Noel's Staraptor DID kinda wreck half of my team... But hey, this game wouldn't be so much fun to play if it wasn't a nice challenge!
  2. The Gen 6 Exp. Share is most definitely too imbalanced. It levels up your team at such an alarming rate that the game becomes more of an activity than an actual game, in that you follow the path that's laid out for you with little to no decision trees (much like Chutes and Ladders).
  3. FINALLY. I had so little to do without this place... SO LITTLE.
  4. I think it means that the bearers of the keys are suffering from hardships in a sequence of events that will inevitably lead to you obtaining all four of them, and that you shouldn't f**k up, lest all their suffering be for naught. But that's just meeeeeeee!
  5. I almost want to say that each door will contain a different Plate, and that merging all 17 Plates together will enable Arceus to change to a "Deity Forme." But the fact that you can mine Plates from rocks makes that kind of hard to believe.
  6. Ruby, the seal of pain. Sapphire, the seal of love. Emerald, the seal of faith. Amethyst, the seal of the beyond.
  7. The door beneath the Grand Staircase does lead to Citae Arc d'Astrae. In the area right before we enter the Arc (the area that's officially named "Beneath the Grand... Something"), you can see the door from the other side at the bottom of the map.
  8. I guess I'll add my own stuff here. Happiny, Chansey, and Blissey- Tier: C (B if you give her Toxic, Seismic Toss, or Calm Mind + usable special attacks) Availability: 2 Badges (Happiny), 3 Badges (Chansey, Blissey) Stats: Great Movepool: Good Comments: Here she is, ladies and gentlemen - the single greatest special wall in the game. With a massive base 255 HP stat, coupled with a base Special Defense of 135, Blissey can shrug off special attacks from higher-leveled opponents with ease. Taking special hits isn't all she does, however, as her access to recovery in the form of Softboiled means that Blissey will not be KO'd by a special attacker any time soon. On top of that, Blissey has access to Natural Cure, making it a fool's errand to attempt to cripple her with a status condition. Unfortunately, Blissey's fantastic Special Defense leaves her almost no physical bulk, being easily 2HKO'd or OHKO'd by halfway decent STAB physical attacks. Furthermore, Blissey has an incredibly hard time making any sort of impact on a battle with her below average Special Attack, nonexistent Attack, and lack of offensive options outside of Egg Moves and TMs, many of which have yet to be implemented into the game. For this reason, unless you are willing to commit the time and effort into breeding moves onto a Chansey, you may struggle to find her useful. Blissey's most effective move at her disposal is Toxic, which can be obtained by breeding with a male Roselia/Roserade. Conveniently enough, if you wish for your Blissey to fill more of a cleric/support role, Blissey can also obtain Aromatherapy from the Roserade line, curing your entire team of status ailments. (Side note: Blissey's movepool is listed as "Good," because although she doesn't have access to as many quality moves as a lot of other Pokémon, certain moves that she does have access to allow her to perform exceptionally well.)
  9. Fixed that for you, bruh. I would say that Samurott is somewhere between "meh" and "meh+".
  10. All I can say is that if Anna says she trusts someone, I'm going to feel very inclined to side with her. Perhaps, when Anna encounters Radomus while we're around, we'll learn more of his true intentions.
  11. From what I gathered, the PULSE forms fill the same slot as Mega Evolutions, in that the Pokémon holds a unique item and the PULSE machine reacts to it. So, unless Mega Tyranitar is implemented into the game using a different method, we won't see Mega PULSE Tyranitar. Again, take this with a grain of salt, because I know very little about this kind of stuff.
  12. I think PULSE Hippowdon would make more sense.
  13. None. The game hasn't been too difficult so far.
  14. The PULSE Abra in particular is pretty terrifying. The only thing that separates it from Mega Mewtwo Y is its terrible HP stat.
  15. Anna's not schizophrenic. She's psychic! She senses and sees things related to people's personalities, minds, and emotions. For instance, she repeatedly talks about burn scars on Charlotte's face, even though the other characters can confirm that she has nothing of the sort. What Anna is actually seeing are the scars on Charlotte's psyche. Ever since her parents perished in the house fire, Charlotte has been harboring a deep regret for accidentally causing the fire, which is reflected in the burn scars that Anna sees.
  16. (Do forgive me if this topic has already been addressed, or if talking about it isn't allowed.) While casually browsing through the Development subforum, I came across this particular topic. A little ways down, one can find lines of code pertaining to multiple Pokémon forms, where it lists "PULSE forms." Amethyst has already voiced her interest in implementing PULSE forms of preexisting Pokémon into future episodes of the game, but this thread gives us more information about what we can expect to see. Below, in spoiler tags, I've listed the major attributes of the PULSE Pokémon. I don't know in what order the base stats are listed in the code, but I'm assuming it's HP/Attack/Defense/Speed/Special Attack/Special Defense. PULSE Tangrowth PULSE Muk PULSE Abra Assuming that I haven't screwed up in my interpretation of these lines of codes (which is quite likely), how do you think these changes will impact people's playthroughs of Pokémon Reborn? Might they influence the players' decision trees significantly enough to change the way they build their in-game teams? What sorts of checks or countermeasures might exist for players to utilize in their endeavors to overcome these new forms?
  17. Just because you used Vulpix and Arcanine doesn't mean everyone else did. Just saying.
  18. I think the best strategy is Sturdy Magnezone with Mirror Coat. Or just be awesome like me and Toxic-stall it with Blissey.
  19. My crackpot theory is that it's Young Lin.
  20. Yessir, this was indeed in Episode 11.
  21. I found the Numel in front of the Peridot Train Station during a thunderstorm. (I think it was at night?) I'm pretty sure I had already beaten Kiki.

Thankfully, the Psychologist in 7th Street means you don't need to reset for natures, so you only really need to go for IVs. I was fortunate enough to get these IVs after only a couple of tries.
  23. To elaborate on Challenge Mode, the AI of computer-controlled opponents is improved, all trainers have increased levels (by 1-2 in the early game, and the level curve increases as the game progresses to compensate for the extra Exp. Points), and all Gym Leaders and Elite Four members have extra Pokémon on their teams, along with reworked movesets and held items. EDIT: I see you have a Questing Phelddagrif in your icon.
