You mean like Pokémon Delta Species? I've always thought that would be a cool idea to implement into the mainstream games. You'd give a Pokémon a Delta Stone or something and breed it in order to create an Egg that would hatch into a Delta Species Pokémon with different typing. But since they're essentially forced mutations, the Delta Species Pokémon would be unable to breed.

My Diggersby did pretty well against Samson, until one of his Pokémon tanked my Strength and OHKO'd it with a Fighting move. After that, I just cleaned house with my Bulk Up Blaziken. All of my Pokémon are mid-late 50s, by the way.

IVs, EVs, and natures are all very important. Ignoring the damage randomizer, a minor difference in IVs or EVs could mean the difference between dealing 32% or 34% to an opposing Pokémon, which in turn is a difference between a 3HKO and a 4HKO. Apparently EV-training is cheap. You heard it here first, folks.

I dunno, facing Megas without a Mega of your own seems pretty difficult to me. ...Status effects already last after battle. Reverting to a Gen 3 look is kind of unavoidable, since the maps from Gen 4 onward are 3D computer models.

The REAL issue is how you're deleting really good moves in favor of piss-poor ones like Arm Thrust.

If you're not going to take the time to make your posts easily legible, then why should we take the time to try reading them? Posts with poor grammar and formatting are literal eyesores. The eye strain caused by reading large amounts of text in one sitting, coupled with the back-lighting that most computers feature, can tire one's eyes out at a very quick rate. That's one of the main reasons why breaking posts up into paragraphs is highly recommended, and required by English teachers. In addition to placing emphasis and focus on specific batches of information, it also allows the reader to take a quick break and give them a moment to absorb and digest the information they just took in. The same concept applies to sentence structure. If your paragraph is one giant run-on sentence, it's just going to give people headaches as they try to figure out what you're saying. That's why you should include proper punctuation - it's the considerate thing to do.

Gengar's got a ton of use, yo! He can still get Thunderbolt, Sludge Bomb, Destiny Bond, and a ton of other usable moves. You've just gotta not be a lazy shit and breed them onto him.
