Hi there! First things first, your question. The game only requires the internet whenever the user (yourself) desires to download a patch or game update. After you download the game, everything you need is on your computer and the game is now software. Gravy. Playable without the need of the internet. Since I'm the first one or not here, I'll run through some things. If you are interested in meeting new people who also are playing Reborn, check out the Reborn server on Pokemon Online. This serves as the sites chatroom, and you can access it in two different ways. You can click the 'Reborn Chat' option on the forum's right-hand menu. You can download Pokemon Online (recommended if you enjoy battling as well) and then search for our server from there. If you are interested in forum-based role-playing, you're going to want to talk to Hukuna, our resident RP Forum Sensei. ...however that's spelled. If you are interested in PokeNations or some of our other tours, you might want to check out the Hall of Champions. (Pokemon Online is our host for battles) If you have a question, you may ask Sheep, Vinny, or myself. You can also make a thread, or ask in Pokemon Online. YES. I WAS HERE. Sometimes, the Popcorn button on your microwave is a liar. 2:00 is always a good cook time for the delicious movie night snack. Please do enjoy your stay.

The sprite shop only works for the trainer card. In other words, you can't make your TC sprite appear in game. It's not impossible to see such sprite in Reborn, but it would take a A LOT of individual sprite work on your part to make it happen.

WHOOP only one of three that voted for the least amount of character information possible. Seriously though, the game does enough justice for some of the less profound characters story-wise. It's so well written that I actually READ dialogue at a slow pace just to take it all in. I feel like an in-depth character page that puts all of the cards on the table could potentially spoil the game content related to those characters - regardless of how subtle it's written.

I don't know how much you've progressed exactly, but if you have been able to make it to the Beryl Ward, I do have some suggestions for you up at that point. - You do indeed have access to ground types at that point in the game, and the one that comes to my mind is Huge Power Diggersby. You can find them in the caves in the Rhondicrine Jungle as Bunnelby. Pro Tip: if you have that Peridot Ward hidden Heart Scale on you, using it on Diggersby to learn Bulldoze is quite ideal, as it's best ground type move by learn up is Mud Shot at this point in the game. Mud Shot's accuracy isn't exactly very reliable.- An Electric type Pokemon would be advised in this gym, in my opinion. I would suggest getting Shinx from the Game Corner, but Manectric and Pachirisu might work as well. - You may also want a Poison type of your own to suck up the Toxic Spikes.

Hello! Don't touch a stove after it has been used. It's hot. ...oh! I'm Hilda by the way.Sheep's got all of that obligatory jazz wrapped up here. Enjoy your stay.

Terrible Puns you say.... Ame, can we keep him? PLEASE?... Anyways, welcome to Reborn, Hilda is me, yadayada. Dan pretty much got everything meaningful I would say in this situation EXCEPT FOR If wearing shoes with strings, make sure they are always tied. You could trip.

.....Hi there. If your oxygen tank is running low, your spacewalk probably needs to be over quite soon. Heed these words. Welcome to Reborn.

A good story is akin to a mountain....Hello friend, and welcome to Reborn. 1. Come by, stay late, talk lots. Pokemon Online has a server under the name Reborn, and that serves as our chatroom. Feel free to visit. 2. Hukuna is our friendly neighborhood spid-....Forum moderator. If your interested in forum based role-playing, he's your man. 3. If you are interested in PokeNations, or some of our other tours, you should check out the Hall of Champions. (Again, Pokemon Online is the host service for any tour/contest there) 4. If you have a question, you are most definitely encouraged to ask. There's...thanks to Vali up there, now THREE ways to go about this. You may create your own thread in it's suitable sub-forum (Ie. Reborn City for a question about the game) and the community will eventually help out. You may privately contact Vinny, Sheep, or myself, and the three of us will work hard to get you your answer You can again, stop by Reborn on PO and ask your question into the feed. 5. In the event of a snowstorm, winter clothing is advised. ...oh, and if you are looking for a place to offer your own two cents, there's a sub-forum under Pokemon Reborn entitled "Development". However, I'm not certain story is something Ame gives her community much free reign over, seeing as it is her own game. Might not always be the case though, and you can get pointers on how to get ahead on some other game developing skills, such as sprite work, alternative shiny pokemon, etc. Might be worth your while to visit.

"I've never really done the whole "team up" thing before....so go easy on me s-senpai. It's my first time!" - Cain "...and that attractive box of cigarettes. Hello, Sexy~" - Charlotte "Revenge is a dish best served....Now." - Saphira "Did you think Cal was cool-" "SHUT UP!" - Victoria, Hilda*** "oh THAT! Yes, it looks great on h-uh...Yes, she still has it" - Bennett "So lost souls offer the keys to your gain, let them not suffer from the poison in vain..." - Shade "I saw Hilda's glowiness through the wall!" - Anna "You always have to wear the right hat for the job." - Radomus "I see, well, Torkoal buddy, what do you say to that?" - Interrogator to Peridot Station Bomber "..and you've killed your teacher. HA HA." - Solaris "I AM MR. BIGGLESWORTH. LAHVE ME." - Mr. Biggles, the Garbador "How much do you want to bet that the Pokemon Center just landed on my house too?" - Serra "Hilda's special. In all the right ways..." - Cain *** - donotes instances where player inputs her own dialogue.

@ Huggy, if you've already beaten (or not) Solaris atop Pyrous Mountain, you should be able to do the event. The girl you are to seek out is in a dormitory room. It's found on the first floor of the Academy the doorway to the girl's room exits into the courtyard of the Academy. Now for my own issues. I have beaten Serra, and intended to obtain the sticker from the injured woman. According to reports, the event is triggered on a clear day. I walked by the Pokemon Center, saw that there was an Aroma Lady sprite in front of the center, and talked to her. She mentions something about trains appearing out of nowhere, and when I walked away from her in the direction of the Chrysolia Forest, she was NOT teleported away. Additionally, upon reaching the now displaced Spinel Town PokeMart, I was only allowed to purchase ONE medicine. I believe I should be able to purchase at least two containers of medicine, AND that if I had successfully triggered the sidequest, that the girl in question would have been teleported. Neither of those things was the case. "Help!" EDIT: Case Closed. Thanks Sheep and Ame. Assistance was swift and garnered appropriate results.

Awesome. I enjoy this thread's popularity. Thought of a few new things based off of tendencies you guys listed. - If for whatever reason (like Pokemon Reborn for me) I -have- to use an HM slave, It ALWAYS has to be a normal type, because that pokemon will still get just as much experience as the rest of the team. If your going to use Strength, it better be a nice and powerful STAB Strength. - I tend to loathe fishing and the aquatic Pokemon that you cannot obtain any other way usually are found at the end of my Pokedex quests. Generation 3's mechanics (and Reborn's) regarding fishing rods are too timing intensive for me, and other fishing mechanics are boring to sit through. - I play the game in Shift. Shameless. I enjoy the ability to switch train weaker pokemon, and Set doesn't allow for that to happen. - I'm very indifferent when it comes to nicknaming pokemon. If I feel like it during the run, every pokemon gets a name eventually, but if not, nobody gets one.

Hmm.... My first ace EVER, would have been Charizard. Kid Hilda loved that thing to death. My first -unique- ace would probably be Gardevoir My current ace, and I like this pokemon A LOT, is Chesnaught.

Hi Chris! I hope you enjoy your play-through of Reborn, and I will definitely check out your videos. Seems I got here early so i'll bring up a few things. 1. Since your mainstay for being a part of this community is the game itself, I'll start with where your questions should go. There's two ways you can go about asking them. You may post any gameplay questions in the Reborn City sub-forum in a constructed thread, where any of Reborn's patrons can assist you with a response. You may also PM Sheep, Vinny, or myself, and the three of us will work diligently to get you your answer. 2. If you want to get connected and meet people, you should definitely consider stopping by the Reborn server on Pokemon Online and say hello. The server serves as this site's chatroom, and most of us are nice folks. 3. Hukuna is this site's role playing forum moderator, and if you -are- considering it, you should definitely get in touch with him. 4. If you are interested in PokeNations - a unique weekly competition - or some of our other tours, the Hall of Champions sub-forum is your place. 5. This one isn't always said, but a recommendation for your YouTube playthrough. Keep your eye out for sidequests. Again, Reborn City sub-forum can help you out. 6. Please do enjoy your stay. If not well....your gonna be stuck here not having any fun. Leaving isn't a thing. .....and no matter how intoxicated you may ever be. Never assume you have the ability to fly. You don't.

Unfezant learns the move Sky Attack at level 66, which is a physical move that will take one turn to charge before using, and will hurt adjacent targets in battle. In Reborn, the Unova regional bird is not a very good choice to roll with, as it doesn't have any Move Tutor moves that would complement it's superior physical attack stat, has an equally damaging normal typing, and having to rely on a it's flying offensive coming from special attacks. ...it doesn't mean it isn't doable, and there are a few things that make Unfezant loosely "viable". 1. Make sure it knows Quick Attack. QA is a physical Normal type move that has priority. It makes for a decent finisher, and gets it as a STAB for the majority of it's life cycle. 2. If for whatever reason you're still using 'Fezant, it learns Facade at level 55, a move that is boosted by status effects, and is also a physical normal type move. This give it viable offense if you can give it an effect.

1. We should all know from Gen 1 that Fern is most DEFINITELY a possibility, although his tenure by the time the player arrives could be VERY short. 2. I seem to remember somewhere on the forums (and I may be foolin' myself) that Amethyst having denied the answer being her in-game counterpart. She could be lying, but I don't think it's Ame. 3. Due to the dialogue (and I've said this before somewhere) Anna is a reasonable guess. I'm not sure if this is less so by the events in E13 though. I'm a little bit behind. 4. With regards to Team Meteor, I wouldn't be terribly surprised at all if they had infiltrated the League. ...now it's my turn to offer something up, and it's not terribly impressive speculation, but it is so nonetheless. The champion of the Reborn League quite possibly could be Solaris. With regards to Team Meteor, Solaris has yet to shirk off the obligatory notion that we are supposed to hate him, and his story is largely veiled behind this notion. Solaris is bad, End of Story. The space for speculation with this character, is in turn quite large. Garchomp most definitely is a Pokemon used in the OverUsed tier competitively, is Sinnoh's pseudo-legendary, and in the games is notably used by Sinnoh "Champion" Cynthia. Another Pokemon that we know Solaris has is Tyranitar, which is Johto's pseudo-legend and is ALSO used often in OU. I know that this will lead some to believe that I'm implying that Solaris has a type theme, but another Champion that did have said type theme was Steven, of Hoenn. My theory is this. Solaris, a ground-type "enthusiast" -not specialist- could potentially drop off the rader and show up at the very end of the league. Imagine, a PUPPET of Team Meteor (we all know Lin is the mastermind behind Meteor) proving to be a worthy opponent and the final obstacle in the player's way to achieving his or her goal. Notable things about Solaris. - Under the Grand Stairway, Solaris provides some monologue about the secret door under the stairway and ALLOWS you to take Victoria and leave, leaving Aster and Eclipse behind and slightly confused. - Atop Pyrous Mountain, he managed to order Cal to do his bidding. Due to Cal's obvious disdain for Elite Four member Blake, Cal secretly sabotages the PULSE only to fall victim to assumption and misfortune. If Blake serves Solaris in some way, and their association is that of E4 member-Champion, it would make sense for Cal to have a disdain for Solaris. - During the PULSE Muk incident, Solaris orders his pokemon to attack Amaria - but only AFTER his plans fail and ZEL can't protect the PULSE from the player. Again, due to League connections, it would make sense for Solaris to hold back from killing a colleague. - You don't, or we have yet to, see Ame (in-game) and Solaris interact.

Hello! Just about the only thing I can comment on is Asexuals....are cool. #Sweg. Obligatory statements.......*shuffles and searches through paperwork*........OH! Here they are. don't hurt me. 1. Questions are fine. You may go about asking them in two ways. You may make a thread, and leave the question open to the entire community (If regarding the game for example, Reborn City's the place to go on the site.) You may message Vinny, Sheep, or myself in private, and the three of us will work as hard as we can to get you your answer. 2. Yeah, you definitely should drop by Reborn on PO and chat. Most of us are nice people, and the server serves as this sites primary chat center. 3. Hakuna is the guy to see if you're interesting in Role-playing. He'll get you all squared away in that regard. 4. If you're remotely interested in PokeNations, or some of our Tours after visiting PO, I'll second Valiant in pointing you to the HoN sub-forum. 5. I'd say leave your sanity at the door here, but um, well, I won't equate sadistic to insanity here. Leave your sanity at the door. DONT HURT ME. ... ...and finally. Enjoy your stay. Oh! and don't use a gun to conduct your murderous deeds. They die faster.

Nately: You're a shameful opportunist! What you don't understand is that it's better to die on your feet than to live on your knees!"...Old Man: You have it backwards! It's better to live on your feet, than to die on your knees....

Hey guys! For the sake of mere discussion and to find out a little bit about how different people play one series of games and it's fan-made counterparts, I've opened this thread. In it, I'll start by listing some of my own tendencies when playing through a Pokemon game, regarding favorite pokemon of specific type to use, training methods, breeding, and anything else that may be unique to a segment of the pokemon community. Alright. Here goes. Gen 1 Starter: Team Charmander. When I was a kid, I had the odd inclination that you always had to pick the pokemon on the box. Gen 2 Starter: Totodile. Gen 3: Treecko. Gen 4: Haven't played, but I would probably go with Piplup here, due to recently finding out Empoleon's part Steel...That's just cool. Gen 5: Snivy. Gen 6: Chespin. Now for the fun stuff. I usually tend to find GROUND type pokemon a staple. Flygon, Krookodile, Golem are notable pokemon that have served me well over the years. Unlike MOST trainers, I've LOVED Zubat since Gen 2, and Crobat is my favorite flying type Pokemon. It's advantage over Fairies only makes the good better. I don't like Fairy type Pokemon, but I do like Gardevoir, and Gardevoir usually makes it onto my team if available. I think starter Pokemon -for the most part- are overrated, and when the going gets tough, am not adverse to sitting your first pokemon pal in the PC in favor of an advantageous pokemon. I just bad about it afterwards. I tend to start my Berry growing in the middle of my journey, either with Chesto berries or Sitrus berries, followed by Leppa and Lums, and finishing with EV reducers. I am very keen on searching for Hidden Items, and try to collect all of the TMs as soon as possible. I think most Ribbons are redundant, but recently have enjoyed getting the fully EV trained ribbons due to beginning to experiment with competitive battling. This means that I also don't care for contests all that much, despite Gen 3 being one of my favorite generations. I tend to not use Mega Evolution. I tend to sacrifice moveslots on multiple pokemon for HMs, as opposed to "slaving". I ENJOY filling up the Pokedex as much as possible....post game. I'm new to earning Battle Points, due to not needing competitive items until recently. I -really- don't give a rip about having shiny pokemon. If I find one and can catch it - great. If I don't - whatever. I can't stand the GTS, but did enjoy the Dream World, and things like the PokeWalker. Wonder Trading is fun, but only after I have a dozen or so parents I can trade away. I like to grind on re-battle-able trainers, such as your rivals or Match Call trainers, or trainers that call you on the PokeGear and what not. I like to have my mom save some of my money back in New Bark Town, as well as getting me some cool berries with it. 'S nice, ya'know? I battle every gym trainer I possibly can, ignoring shortcuts to the Leader. I usually try to avoid in-game trades until the post game. The Machop before Whitney and the Farfetch'd before Viola are notable exceptions.

Howdy Pardner! While I don't exactly kick butt at M:TG, I do love running Dimir..... Few things I suppose, Zeph up there pretty much got most of it, and due to your progress in the game, I'm sure most of it may not even apply to you. 1. There are two ways you can go about asking your questions around these parts. - You can create a thread (for example, in Reborn City if it's a game related question), and allow the community to find your answer and help you out. - Or you may private message Sheep, Vinny, or myself. I'm sure the other two guys will turn up and say hello eventually. 2. Stop by the Reborn server on Pokemon Online. You can get to it by clicking Reborn Chat in the right-hand menu of this site, or by downloading PO. The server serves as the chatroom for our community, 3. After checking out PO (and I would suggest doing that beforehand) you -can- sign up for PokeNations if you want a unique weekly competitive experience (that may or may not require a small amount of weekly attention, depending on the Nation you get placed in.) The rules are unique each week, and it can potentially be enjoyable regardless of competitive skill level. 4. (obligatory comment about leaving your sanity at the door here) 5. Don't lean on a cactus. It's pointy. Please do enjoy your stay....because uh.....it's hard getting out of here.

EDIT: Problem solved. Sorry about being late!
